Been going here for 4 years now and Garvin always gives great cuts, masterful color, I just give him minimal feedback on how I want it to look, maybe take off an inch or two, whatever, and whatever he does looks great. I never had color in my life and was nervous about it but with the grey coming in it was time and he found a shade which was pretty much my original shade but a bit brighter and a bit more flattering and it looks absolutely natural which was a relief. Loved this place! The place was really clean and everyone there was really nice and accommodating (all black and brown staff which is rare for a place that does mani and pedis but makes sense for brooklyn). Came for a mani pedi. I have a barber so that probably all i'll ever come for lol. They run only on appointment so unless you want to wait around for an hour or so I suggest you make one. It took about an hour to complete and I was 90% happy with the job they did. My -10% is because they didnt mention getting my nails buffed and shined was extra as opposed to the clear nail polish. I dont frequent nail salons so if its common knowledge I wasnt aware. I will definitely come back here to get my hands and feet did. read more

Ahh Groupon never lets me down...and made the e-introduction to Wayne Agassi's Salon. This place is pristine, absolutely beautiful. I was long overdue for a manicure and pedicure. I will not even say how long it's been because, quite frankly, I cannot even remember. It felt amazing to walk into a place of serenity for a temporary escape from a hustle/bustle lifestyle and noisy city streets for a little pampering. I met the receptionist who processed my voucher, offered to take my coat, informed me that I was welcomed to cookies and coffee as I waited for the technician. I heard the great rapport with customers. The ambiance felt comfortable, relaxed, and I loved that it was a one-stop shop for both hair and nails. My hands and feet were too happy for the tender loving care that they received from Jen. She was very professional, took her time, instructed me from start to finish. I just loved the service and floor plan. I mean the nail drying station was so discreet that I thought it was a bookshelf lol. Oops! There were on/off buttons that I did not see until I took a second look. My experience here left my heartbroken for a long time. I came here to experiment dying my hair since my mother comes here and it went well the first two times but then I wanted to get rid of the dye and grow out my hair and he dyed my hair blonde leading it to break off into clumps and half my hair fell out. he said to come back to fix it it and it led to my hair falling out. My hair was left a wreck and I had to pay an outstanding amount of money for it. I thought Gavin would look out for me especially because my mother went o him but he didn't care and just wanted me to spend my money instead of looking out for the health of my hair. some time has passed and I'm still shocked he did that to me. read more

This review is about my experience getting my hair done by Garvin this past weekend and why I won't be returning ever. This is unfortunate because Lily is hands down the best manicurist I've been to and I have always loved her professionalism. How my visit went: My natural hair is black, coarse, extremely coily (a 4c if you need a type), and my sides are shaved. I called in advance because I wanted to dye my hair lavender; Garvin said I'd need to come in for a consult for a price quote because he needed to see my hair in person. Fair enough. When I arrived, the "consult" consisted of me reminding him that I called about the lavender hair, him looking at it once and saying, "Yeah, I got you, no problem, I'm gonna hook it up for you, it's gonna look fire." That's in no way specific and I asked again, if he could dye my hair lavender; he confirmed. Several times while multi-tasking on entirely too many heads at once, I continued asking him what each step was and reiterating that I wanted it medium to light lavender, showing him picture references multiple times. As my hair is dark and coarse, I am aware that it would need to be lightened first in order for color to come through. While sitting there with a head that smelled dank and a scalp that was slowly sizzling, I repeatedly told him my scalp was burning and Garvin casually told me to 'relax because no pain no gain, it was fine, it will 'cool down in a bit' It did not and every time he asked me how it was, my response was 'it's still burning'. This paternalistic attitude is the same one he had when he cut my hair a few years ago and it was the worst, most uneven cut, cut so short, all I could do was wait for it to grow out and go to a barber to correct it. He loves telling the customer he knows what's best for them and does not listen to what the customer wants. Eventually when the burning was peaking, and I was on the verge of screaming, I demanded his attention because it was legit BURNING. His advice was 'no pain, no gain, sweetie'. In 2019, we're still assuming beauty has to hurt, and that a customer's concerns aren't valid? Ok. Once he eventually rinsed out the bleach, he started on the color. I noticed the shade he mixed was the lavender/lilac I requested. Once applied and sitting on my hair for a while, I noticed my hair taking on the desired shade and thought he would rinse it out. Instead, every attempt to ask about the color, resulted in him telling me 'it had to sit a bit longer'. The longer it sat, the darker it became, it went from lavender/lilac to some dark magenta shade. Back at the sink, as he's looking it over, when I asked if this color was going to wind up being lavender once washed, he frustratedly mentioned needing to use developer, and toner, and needing to "make the color richer and deeper", I realize now, he was adding more dark purple to the mix, taking me WAY past my requested color. He kept saying "I know what you need, I'm gonna hook you up." As he continued depositing more color, it continued getting darker and darker. As I was sitting in the chair for him to style it, under those bright lights, I can clearly see it is DARK PURPLE. I asked him about this and he states, "You know your hair is dark and it keeps pushing the color out so I had to make sure the color stays. You know it doesn't take color that well." No, YOU know that because you are the 'professional'. If he knew my dark, coily, coarse hair would not take that color, then I would rather be told that during the ""consult"", before I sat down, before I spent 5.5 hours and $300+, only to leave with burn scabs, and a color that is not even remotely what I wanted/requested. This salon does an excellent job on naturally straight hair and light colored hair but if you have natural kiny/coily hair, I suggest you go elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration of not getting what you want and having your requests ignored. Lesson learned. He thought he was being generous by giving me a free bottle of conditioner and offering a free toner in a week. Also, word of advice: don't badmouth your staff to clients, it's not a good look. I'm done with this place and I'll likely be going to the barber to shave this all off. read more

Maria has perfected the color for my hair. A subtle red. A noted TV color person actually stopped me and commented on my color. I like Avaeda hair products especially for color they are the only way I can get a natural looking red. Maria is not only a great colorist but as nice as can be. A true professional. read more

Please Read carefully why I am giving them five stars My friend and I visited this salon a year ago. My hair was super damaged and dry. I have very coarse afro hair and my friend have curly Loose hair. Gavin, the owner, was not very pleasant at all. At times, I thought he was disrespectful and rude. The gentleman that did my hair was very gentle and speak veryyy low. The gentleman did a good job with the deep treatment and cutting my hair; my hair felt super soft and healthy after I left. On the other hand, my friend left the salon with horrible hair cute where Gavin had the gentleman straightened her hair because the hair cute was so bad. Overall, the place is not bad and I might go back but Gavin need to change his attitude. The reason I am giving them three stars is because they quoted me one price when I came i quote me a different price after my hair was all set and done. read more

Garvin Greaves - owner of G's Urban Styles - does it again. With his second location - Wayne Agassi's Salon & Spa only 1 block away from his first location - things couldn't get any better for me. I've been a client of Garvin's for over 8 years....and I must say - he's really out-did himself with this addition. Wayne Agassi's is an Aveda concept salon and from the minute you walk in - you will feel calm and relaxed. This salon/spa is gorgeous...full of light...smells heavenly...and the staff is extremely courteous. Help yourself to some light refreshments while you wait for your stylist/therapist or peruse the Aveda products on sale....as I'm sure you'll want to pick something up..... I chatted with Levi - one of G's newest stylists - and I must say...he is very friendly.... I observed him style 2 clients....and they both left beaming.... After having my locs washed by Stephanie (very friendly and thorough)....retwisted/styled by G - I had the pleasure of having a 1 hr massage with Alma this past Sunday - and it was wonderful. She was very personable, inquired about any spots that she should pay attention to and did exactly what I asked. She was totally aware of the tight spots I have from sitting at a desk all day....and was careful not to go too deep - as I prefer soothing strokes vs deep tissue. Perfect way to spend my Sunday....and I can't wait to come back for a few more massages/facials......after my hair appointments :) 5 stars all the way. read more

Maria was amazing. Had a whim to chop all of my hair off, bought a Groupon, called up, and they were able to get me in that day! I had washed my hair because I didn't know if it was included with the Groupon, it was, and she insisted on giving me a nice relaxing scrub anyway, which was much appreciated. Showed her a couple pics of what I wanted, she took her time cutting longer to shorter in case I got afraid of taking it all off, which was so nice of her! When it was all finished, I realized I wanted to see how it looked pin straight, rather than with waves, so she straightened it for me and went over the blunt edges again, until it was perfect. She even taught me how to get a wave in my hair like how the pics I showed her had, all of this for no extra charge- Maria is the bomb. Definitely go to Maria here- Gavin was working on another woman who usually sees Maria, was on her 4th hour there, and was frustrated. He seemed all over without getting much accomplished, & attempted to appear focused on customer service without actually having any idea how to provide it properly(I've worked in the service industry my entire life, I have had many managers like this). He was commanding his staff left and right, walking away from his client for up to ten minutes at a time, pulling people away from their posts, and my haircut, which was fine- but he kept creating stressful situations out of nothing, and didn't seem to be able to read the room very well. He may be amazing & worth the hassle, who knows! But Maria was calm, easy to talk to, joke with or just be quiet with, and she has 100% gained a repeat customer. So happy I found her. read more

After being a client for two decades, as this salon was formerly G's Urban Hairstyles, I am calling it quits. Over the years I have referred so many family members, friends and others. However, in spite of my loyalty which meant that I wouldn't go to any other stylist although I've lived outside of NY for the better part of that 20 year period, I never felt like my time was respected. Even though so many of the people that I referred would not return for this reason, I put up with the blatant disregard for my time and would sit for hours waiting for services that should take no longer than two hours. My last visit was the final straw for me. After spending $1500 to fly home to NY with my 4-year old to visit our family since before the pandemic, I've wasted my time sitting in that salon (6 hours) for the last time. Never mind I had a child with me who was growing restless and hungrier by the hour. In the end, I was overcharged (as usual), my intelligence insulted and, finally, my trust betrayed as Garvin finally did to me what I've been able to avoid for the past 10 years after deciding to go to him exclusively. He cut way more of my hair than was necessary, cutting it while wet (and therefore extremely curly-kinky) after telling me for years that it's best to straighten the hair before cutting. But this time, the change in process was self-serving as he took a walk-in after my child and I had already been at the salon for 3 hours and he needed to leave. Then he claimed that he didn't know that I was getting my hair done too after we discussed this on the phone that both me and my child were needing to get our hair done. It has been years of losing precious time waiting on Garvin only to be blamed for one thing or another relative to the less than professional service that I'd receive. This time I lost hair that I did not need to and my cut is so uneven. Sure, it'll grow back but that requires time and effort. Plus, it's not about the hair as much as it's the feeling that your trust was violated and your mood, time, and money disregarded. Additionally, listening to employees and clients, alike, being badmouthed over the years was never pleasant. It's for this reason I am not bothering to call to give him feedback because I already know that it won't make a difference. He'd faster flip me the proverbial bird before he'd actually hear me, empathize, and sincerely try to make it right. Then there is the reasonable assumption that he'd just talk $%!* about me after he hung up the phone. I don't care to open myself up to that negative energy so I'm choosing to simply just walk away instead. It took way too long but I am finally done. It is unfortunate because I have no idea where I'd go now but also feeling like, after this disappointing end to a very long stylist relationship, that I won't sit in anyone's chair ever again. We live in an era where DIY for anything is enabled by the vast amount of information available on the internet. Lastly, though technique does matter, the real magic to anything good that was happening in that salon was the products as Aveda is amazing. I don't typically have the time or patience to write reviews so hopefully this helps someone. I guess the lengths of my patronage, in this case, and the circumstances surrounding my most recent experience compelled me to write this review. The one lesson so many of us have probably learned over the past 18 months as we've witnessed the magnitude of the loss of life due to the pandemic is that time is precious. I'm no longer going to convince myself that it's ok to waste it waiting on anyone and especially not a stylist. How ridiculous is that thought now? read more

Thank you Groupon for introducing me to a new salon for mani pedis! Like everyone says, it's a beautiful salon, very meticulously maintained. It's a nice oasis to slip into and get away from the busy-ness that is NYC! My manicurist was wonderful, she did a great job on my nails. The only reason I deducted a star was for the nail polish selection. I wanted to do a baby pink manicure with a chunky gold glitter accent nail, but alas, their selection of light pinks that weren't nudes definitely left something to be desired. And you want gold? Not happening as all their glitter options were silver. Thankfully I'd come prepared with both colors that I'd wanted but I had hoped the salon would have some selections that I didn't already own. That being said, I can definitely see myself returning here next time I need a mani pedi! read more

I've never been more disappointed with a haircut. If I could give this salon 0 stars, I would. I have natural hair and repeatedly told my stylist, the owner, that I needed to be able to blowout my hair. We went over how much he could cut and decided that after he trimmed off some of the dead ends, we would figure out a shape. I told him that I did not not want a round Afro because of the way I style my hair. He cut way more hair than I asked and didn't have a clue how to style my hair with gel. When I complained about the shape, he told me that he couldn't change the shape because it was so short. He cut it so short that it'll be virtually impossible to straighten, and in a round shape so that all I can do is wear it in a little Afro with the front pulled back because my curls are uneven and an awkward length. After butchering my hair, he had the absolute audacity to tell me that, "it's hair, it'll grow back. You should be thankful you have your health." He proceeded to compound this by continuing to lecture me on how HE liked my hair and that there are worse things in life than a bad haircut. NEVER go to this salon if you value the hair on your head. I will have to spend the next year growing my hair out because of the horrific job he did. read more

Gavin took my dyed red hair and took me to a perfect ashy/golden blonde in one session. I walked in assuring him that I knew it might take a few sessions and that I knew I probably would have to chop my hair after and he just gave me a look and said "Ok, you obviously don't know me". What he meant was that he is, indeed, a hair god. He has clients of all hair types and has mastered all of them. He isn't cheap but if you want something done right the first time, go here. I have also gotten a mani-pedi with a Groupon and will be back again for that as well. My mani lasted almost two weeks (regular, not gel) and my toes are still painted a month later with no noticeable chipping. I read good reviews so I bought a Groupon for single process and haircut. But the moment I met my stylist, I was already wondering if this was a good idea. My stylist was warm but I was uncomfortable when I couldn't figure out if he was joking about things that'd cost extra or not. His brand of humor didn't resonate with me, he didn't introduce himself and proceeded to drop hair dye all over me after basically arguing over the color I wanted. I thought the customer was always right? It is a much smaller salon than anticipated but even with that, I haven't really felt welcomed by my stylist. The receptionist had to tell him what my name was because he didn't even ask. That's a pet peeve of mine. I'm not someone who enjoys a real lively conversation while getting my hair cut, rather, I like reading trashy gossip magazines but I wasn't even offered one. Regardless, I think the stylist sets the mood of the experience and mine didn't make me feel at ease but rather more wound up. He managed to forget about the hair dye covering my cheek, ears and fingers until I mentioned it. The color as it came out was okay, but it wasn't what I asked for. I showed him five or so different ideas of what I wanted and he shot them all down. It is my hair, shouldn't I get to pick what I want? And if they weren't able to be done, wasn't there something he could've offered me, a swatch or... anything to know what I was getting into? It really bothered me that the color was mixed and I had no clue what it would be until my hair was dried. The haircut was also just okay but also was not what I wanted. I didn't feel the stylist cared to listen to me, he was having other conversations and giving frequent customers more attention than me anyway. I paid $67 for a Groupon and I know that for the services I did save a lot but I feel ripped off even paying that with the experience I had. Great customer service and my nails always look mega glamorous when I'm done. I originally came here because of Groupon but I have returned multiple times since then. Even though I only visit here to get manicures and pedicures, I love watching how thorough the hair stylists are as well. Disappointed with the lack of attention to detail, and overcharged at the end. Told a total of two different prices and then at the end a third. Not fair to surprise the customer, and I saw the owner do it to others. Owner rushed on my hair and didn't actually give me the highlights I asked for. I went to other salons after and they confirmed for me it looked nothing like highlights. Just a sloppy, messy color all over. Now I have to wait until it grows out, I trusted this salon, but I should have known better, especially since I thought Maria was going to do my hair and in the end she didn't, the owner did it and I knew from others he wasn't good. He took hours and hours on other clients, but he rushed on me. I guess if you're his friend or he likes you more, maybe he will take his time and do a good job. Garvin is a hair god. He's beyond incredible. I took a picture of an idea I had for my hair, and he expanded upon it, making the cut even better, and definitely more manageable with my busy schedule. I went in with a Groupon this time, but I will happily pay full price from here on out. The ONLY reason this place doesn't get a 5-star rating from me is because both times I've been there they've been short staffed and I've had to wait well past (more than 30 minutes) my appointment time. I can't be too upset though- I got free deep conditioning treatments for my hair both times, so they clearly are really good at customer service. read more

I have known the owner of the salon, Garvin, for over 20 years, first at his old salon and now here at his Wayne Agassi salon. Garvin is simply the best hair cutter I have ever known. His manner is very straight forward and professional and if your a client that knows what you want, he will provide it. I dropped in last week wanting a short cut and he was able to squeeze me in. Within an hour I had the look that I wanted. The thing with Garvin is that he is adept at cutting all hair types and remembers how your grows and what it the best way to cut it. The salon also provides other services like hair color and they did an excellent job coloring my tips in a previous session. I plan on getting a new color next. Highly recommend! read more

I was debating long and hard whether to write this review or get in touch with the owner. After much thought I decided Id rather write about my experience. So here goes. I once stopped in(after getting bagels at Bergen Bagels and noticing the salon) to grab some hair product and said to myself, I must come back here. Fast forward, two months, I pulled out the their business card and called to set up an appointment. First, the telephone rang for about NINE rings before I decided to call the / number provided on the card. Now, I have been an administrative person before and I know that you do NOT let the phone ring for that long. So, finally somebody picks up the other line and the women I spoke to had absolutely no phone manners at all. At times she couldn't hear me at which point I would've said, "pardon me" or "would you please repeat that" but instead I got a "huh?"REPEATEDLY! I said to myself, this is probably a bad omen but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Moving on to the actual day of said appointment. I arrived 7 min early, stood in the lobby because the only visible seat in the "waiting area" was occupied. Then finally 5 minutes later I was shown to another waiting area. And then the waiting begun, I sat there for a bout 15 minutes past my appointment time and only then did the stylist come up to me, introduced himself and said, we'll discuss what I wanted done today in a little bit, he was just running behind. Literally TWO hours, a wash and a deep conditioner later( total time for wash and condition was 30 minutes by the way) I was finally in the chair and my consultation lasted 25 seconds an viola, I was sent on my way, totally confused because he did not style my hair and he left some really offensive smelling product in my wet hair, leaving me looking Like I just waked off the set of "There's something about Mary"! And after all of that I ended spending nearly $150 for such a disappointing visit. Sadly I will not return. I really wanted this to be by new favorite place in Brooklyn and was also excited to refer my many friends here. I sincerely hope they read and pay attention to this review so they can be aware of and learn from their mistakes for the next persons sake. read more

I'll start with the pros. First of all the salon looks nice and they use great products that smell amazing. My stylist, Jeff, was very nice and personable. BUT I feel like he did not listen to what I wanted and did not know how to work with my face shape and the texture of my hair. I asked for a lob (LONG hair bob) and he gave me a regular bob. I don't look nor feel good with short hair, so I'm pretty much devastated. Also, just to clarify, he did ask me about the length but he was pulling on my hair so it appeared longer. Then he ended up cutting shorter than what I originally agreed to. That coupled with the fact that when it dries it gets shorter, resulted in a haircut that is barely touching my shoulders, even though it was supposed to go all they way up to my chest. Also, my hair is on the thicker side and it gets wavy, and he just simply did not know how to work with my hair. My old stylist would always cut it in a way that would make the ends look nice, and with this haircut, no matter what I do and how I style it, my ends are flipping up or out. It's just a really badly styled haircut. I used a Groupon for my haircut, which probably wasn't a good idea. read more

1st Star: I've never been one to care about a salon's "aesthetic", as long as the hairdresser knows how to do my hair well, I've been known frequent places some people wouldn't dare look at. However, I am giving Wayne Agassi's salon a star for his attention to detail in that dept. Clean atmosphere, comfortable ambiance, nice design, great tunes and complimentary beverage every time I have gone. 2nd Star: Professional skills - His hairdressers are fantastic. I have had my hair done by Vanessa a few times and she is simply a fantastic and uber professional hairdresser. The first time I got my hair done, I was transitioning from a perm to going natural. Mind you, I walked into the salon without an appointment at 6pm on a Saturday and Vanessa took me anyway upon seeing the distress I was in to have my damaged hair repaired. She painstakingly combed through my knotted hair and was not scissor-happy unlike other stylists I have gone to. She cut my hair with a grace and tenderness that is rare. Then, once she was finished, she gave me instructions on how to care for my newly minted natural style. 3rd Star: Products/Process - I have no idea what is in the products they sell but I can never quite get my hair to curl the way it does when I go there (and I have tried many different products from $10-$30 a bottle). 4th Star: Customer Service - The front desk has always been pleasant, and well Vanessa has always been phenomenal. Personally, I appreciate a hairdresser that's not overtly chatty, constantly picking up her phone or distracted by a co-worker's banter every 10 seconds. Last, I'm not giving the salon a 5th star because the wait despite making an appointment is often quite long. That would be my main suggestion for improvement, but other than that, if you have the time to go to a salon and are seeking a truly professional atmosphere and experience, I highly recommend Wayne Agassi's salon! read more

OK. Im not big on salons. I hate the gossip and loud talking and general chaos. It was suggested I try Gavin's salon as a new turn. It was soo well worth it! He has had Vanessa work with me twice. He took his time and listened to my ideas, added some spice to it and then Vanessa's magical hands turned my once lumpy form into one of body, substance and style. If you are looking for Supercuts cheap, this is not for you. If you are looking for no wait- then this is not for you. You don't rush the extensions of Gods hands; you just let them work their miracles. He is blunt when needed and listens intently when needed. His salon offers a wide range of services. His masseuse is great, his waxing technician is great.. The products they sell are wonderful. Give it a try. read more

I am a longtime customer of Garvin, the owner, and now go to Wayne Aggasi. I decided to treat myself to a full spa day: a facial, massage, and hair. I was so pleased. The masseuse was amazing, and concentrated on my tight left foot which I had surgery on two years ago. He spent extra time and worked it out unlike anyone ever has. For that alone I was grateful. Then I went on to my facial, where nice, soothing music was played, and the aesthetician promptly removed all my blackheads, etc. I ended my spa day with a hairstyling by G, where I was offered red wine and olives. I did spend all day at the spa, but it was worth it. And it wasn't super duper expensive. The Facial + Massage was $150, and the hair was $100. Not bad. I'd highly recommend going here. I came all the way from the Bronx to get my hair done here so that should tell you, it's great. My stylish Lashonne is AMAZING!! She's very professional, does great styles ( for all types of hair ), and she explains the products she's using and how to care for your hair at home. *BTW my hair is natural and it's so hard to find a stylist that can style and care for my hair. Now on the to salon/spa. It's comfortable, chic and you sit in a massage chair while getting your hair washed. I really like it here because it's beautiful, calm, and they make you feel special. I went in on a whim after reading positive reviews while looking for a new local spa in the area, as I recently moved. Their "off-peak days" pricing is just the right added bonus for me, as I am a freelancer and can make appointments for say, a Tuesday afternoon, rather than a Friday evening. I went to Wayne Agassi Salon with a Groupon. Was told upfront what would cost extra if I wanted. I appreciated the honesty. Garvin was my stylist, I showed him a picture of color and cut I wanted. He made me feel very comfortable and explained each process needed. The end result was perfect. I love my hair. Will definitely recommend. I will be going back. Thank you Gavin! I came here for an express mani pedi and it was very quick and relaxing. I automatically felt at ease when I came into the salon, as it is set up in a spa like atmosphere with Aveda products. I think the customer​ service could have been better toward people of color considering the head stylist is black. It seemed like because I was black I was a target to drain me of all my cash. I just wanted a wash and set simple. He just wanted to dig deep in my pockets for me to get a simple hair wash. He said he would do it for free then walked away and had someone else do my hair. Will never return. If you are black be prepared to be gouged for more money due​ to the texture of your natural hair. read more

Very pleased having walked in without appt at 10am - opening time. Met Jeff who was very gracious and made me feel very comfortable. He did a great wash and Blow out that really surprised me in a good way! They sell tons of average products but he did not try to get me to buy. That was nice and appreciated. Went to this salon for a GroupOn cut and color. Maria was my stylist. This review is for her. First off, she is so sweet, so welcoming. Secondly, she is CAREFUL with your hair. She let me weigh in the entire experience which made me so comfortable. She was able to color my hair to perfection, and my cut was equally as great. I found this place during Spa Week, talk about luck! While a lot of places can scrimp on service or hustle you through your treatment during a promotion, Wayne Agassi made me feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I'm deeply in love with the facialist--Liz was amazing! My skin is so dewy and soft. I can't wait to see her again...without a promotion this place is a total gem. Went to this salon after finding a discount on Groupon. Jeff was so awesome ... listening to what I was looking for, remembering that I'd asked to not have my hair blown dry (I never use a dryer and it was hot out anyway), and he was a wonderful conversationalist to boot. I waited a week or so to post this because I wanted to see how the haircut sat with me after a few washes and just everyday use. It's wonderful! It's just what I was looking for. I'd go back to this place in a heartbeat, even without the Groupon discount. read more

My low star rating has nothing to do with their services or skills. They had a rogue stylist who is no longer there who tried to cut the salon out of a profit to be made from a wig purchase. I paid the salon $1,000 to get the wig since I was going to loose my hair due to chemotherapy. The stylist wanted to get me on a program to get me different hair pieces to support me during different phases of hair re-growth. The owner leaned this and I've been the one penalized. I've been fighting with them since September 2016 for the $1,000 refund. They've paid it partially back, and I even agreed to get paid in installments. They owe me $400 and since October 2017 they claim they're mailing me a check, and even claimed that they had a new bank and were waiting for new checks. This was in November. I've written at least 4 times since and no response. If you ever need a refund from them, they are slippery and dubious! read more
