My husband and I ordered their Shrimp with Lobster sauce lunch special and everything tasted days old or didn't have any taste at all. The service was terrible. The waiter/owner was very rude throughout the dinner. After spending almost $200 we asked for a couple extra pancakes and plum sauce, because we were given a small amount of sauce and 3 pancakes, we were told we would have to pay. We ordered take out here from here two nights ago. It's a bit of a drive for us, but there really isn't any other option close by. The gentleman on the phone was American which is definitely helpful for me as I have some hearing loss so accents are very difficult for me to understand over the phone. He repeated each item as I ordered it. Again- helpful. The expected time for it to be ready was surprisingly quick. When I arrived I (stupidly) just paid and left without so much as a glance at the ticket. The food smelled funny to me in the car but I didn't think anything of it. When I finally got back home I opened the bag to see strange looking items and thought they accidentally gave us someone else's order. When I looked at the slip I saw that it was in fact my order but that they got several items wrong. Our white rice was a small not a large, they gave us boneless spareribs instead of crab Rangoon, and chicken wings instead of chicken fingers. Usually if there's a mistake we just suck it up and deal with it, but most of us are vegetarians and those who aren't don't like meat on a bone so it was not going to be eaten by anyone. I called back to tell them about it since the food would go to waste and the price difference in what we wanted and what we got was substantial. We were told to bring everything back that was wrong. At that point I was starving and just wanted to eat my meal. I planned on driving the ribs and wings back but by the time we were through I was exhausted and didn't want to make the trek back, spending money in gas for the exchange/refund. Is it weird that my favorite chicken wings come from a Chinese restaurant? If you're at Way-Ho, you just have to try them! So crispy and flavorful. Wash them down with a suffering bastard--a mai tai with a 151 floater. I think most of the dishes here are excellent.. there are definitely a few that may be overpriced or greasy but I've never been surprised with an order and everything always comes out hot with a big enough portion to share. Just went for breakfast, yes breakfast. I think they have changed hands recently or are trying something new. They do a full American bfast menu and also have a buffet that includes some Asian items and homemade whoopie pies! Sunday was steamed pork dumplings with ginger sauce which worked well with the scrambled eggs and homefries. This is in the little bdlg behind the main restaurant, I think its caklled Way Ho II or something. The place was clean, staff very friendly and attentive and most items are under $10. The all you can eat buffet was $8.95. This is a good alternative in this area when most unsuspecting slobs are waiting line at Percy's for lousy, overpriced food in a dirty joint staffed by sullen robots (can you tell I think it sucks?). I have not tried the regular Way Ho for Chinese food but heard it is expensive. Maybe we'll give it a go and revire later on. read more

Way Ho is a favorite childhood restaurant of mine. I came home over the holiday season to spend time with my folks (I am military), and there was no way I was going to pass up an opportunity to experience my very favorite Chinese Food restaurant located at the Buzzards Bay Rotary. I gathered my family's order and phoned in for take-out. I wasn't worried about it taking too long, or not being ready when I arrived because that is not how Way Ho operates, and I was right! My food was ready to go within 30min of ordering, wahoo! I currently reside in Colorado Springs, and the 'lobster sauce' offered here is NOT the lobster sauce I grew up with, so of course, as you can guess, I ordered a LARGE lobstahh sauce from Way Ho and I was NOT disappointed. I also ordered beef lo-mein, crab Rangoon, and pork friend rice- Benny cooked everything to perfection, as he always does and has done for many, many years. I only wish Way Ho was able to ship their deliciousness around the country- because I would be ordering lobster sauce weekly, regardless of the price. If you're looking for a delicious Chinese lunch / dinner without all of the grease and meaningless fillers then Way Ho is the restaurant for you; stop by, eat in, take out, regardless, Benny (the owner) will be behind the counter with the rest of his amazing family. read more

Food was very ok. Didn't really taste of anything. If you order off of the lunch menu the "chicken fingers" are bland pieces of chicken that are fried with no breading or seasoning. Decided to surprise a family member who is in a nursing home. They love Chinese food. Only place we could find open close by.. The prices are outrageous. Looked like $50 worth of food but turned out to be $80. The food was not good. My husband eats anything. We had left overs and he refused to take the food home. Chicken was salty. I have been here a lot since I spent a good part of life in the area. I have never had a bad meal, never had bad service, and never had a bad experience. Benny runs a good restaurant, has excellent staff, and is very efficient. It also has a full bar which is very nice. Not sure why some people gave poor reviews. Myself and a few friends were staying at a close-by hotel for a night passing through to go camping and decided to come here for dinner. We were greeted right away and sat at a booth. Very friendly and attentive staff. Now the food. NOT what I expected! I expected normal wonton soup with 3 measly noodles. Instead I got a huge bowl with about 8 stuffed wontons and scallions and snap peas. Egg rolls were huge and properly filled. Fried rice was plentiful and perfect. And the beef teriyaki on a skewer was incredible. You get a LOT of food and it's not your normal Chinese takeout crap. I just gotta say, we were all very full and way impressed.
