Pretty bad Chinese food. Service was low quality and the interior was a mess, and not welcoming. Poor ambiance. They didn't even have real silverware or plates. Food looked pretty unappetizing and low quality. Taste was ok, and not as bad as it looked. I think I could make it myself as good. This is the place you go for Chinese when you're desperate. SERVICE We walked in on a late Thursday evening to grab a dinner at this local spot. The line up for DoorDash and takeout was at least 4-5 parties long. We made our order quickly at the counter and asked for dine-in option. AMBIANCE We sat down in one of the booths as the line got longer behind us. It was buzzing from the people but still relatively empty dining area. In 10 minutes or so while grabbing water and utensils, the desk manager served us our food on plastic cutlery. FOOD Our food came quickly and exactly as ordered in spite of the nightly rush and scramble. We ordered the classics C1 with egg roll, boneless spare ribs, and chicken fingers and pork fried rice and D5 with chicken and mixed vegetables. The food came out hot and tasted exactly as we expected and when we asked for chopsticks and extra condiments, it was provided as soon as possible despite the long customer line. I see ratings here complaining about quality and speed... and I say this... comparing a lower-priced, casual spot to a higher-priced restaurant on quality and expectations isn't fair, as their resources, ingredients, and service models are just fundamentally different. Casual spots are designed to offer quick, accessible meals and a relaxed atmosphere and this local spot has never disappointed in our 4-5 visits here so far! Definitely is a go-to for the classic American Chinese food that's hearty, fast, tasty, well-prices and local to get your fix in. read more

Not the best and not the worst but certainly good. Unfortunately with DoorDash I couldn't order the food the way I like it - lower oil and extra protein in the rice. The low mein was swimming in oil, and not very good, but the egg rolls, yang chow style fried rice and steamed peking ravioli hit the spot. Wonton soup loaded and delicious, egg drop was good too. Just terrible. Our go to place has closed and started searching for new Chinese. Saw some great reviews on Facebook about this place. It's just terrible. The chicken teriyaki.... I'm not sure what the flavor was. Whenever we get Chinese food my dog is ready and waiting for some. Can't get enough chicken teriyaki.... even if she just ate. Even she wouldn't eat it. read more

Best Chinese food we have had in awhile! We ordered kung pao chicken, vegetable fried rice, and vegetarian spring rolls. While waiting for our take out order, we heard from a local that there was a long out the door at 4 pm New Years Eve. That's how great this restaurant is! Once we heard back this story we were of course excited to try our dinner. We were not disappointed! I wish we had siracha or chili oil to accompany our delicious food. But, I would give everything a 5 star - especially the vegetable fried rice! Next time, we hope to try the chicken and pea pods and the crab rangoons. read more

Our Christmas Eve take out order: Order details Kung Po Chicken x 1, Boiled Rice - S x 1, Pu Pu Platter For 1 x 1, Scallion Pancakes x 1, Teriyaki Chicken(6) x 1 All was quite good (almost) - the rice was excellent, perfectly made. except the Teriyaki Chicken and the spare ribs in the Pu Pu platter. The chicken was really dried out, the spare ribs were tough. Ordering on Christmas Eve, one can expect a wait. In our case, it was 2.5 hours from the online order to the food being handed over. Terrible experience! Rude staff, cold food. Waited in person over 25 mins after showing up 25 mins after the order was placed. Preference is given to door dash drivers over customers that are there in person. Receptionist was rude and lost. Had trouble locating every order. After all that, got home and 2 items were wrong. This is my favorite Chinese takeout around! Very friendly service. I've tried a lot of their menu and honestly I'm never disappointed. I always get fresh, hot food. I never get overcooked food!! Meat is always juicy, fried stuff is crispy, but again, NOT OVERCOOKED!! That's huge! Very generous portions. I discovered this place after being so tired of overcooked chicken fingers everywhere. I found them. Super friendly and delicious. AND you can get some gluten free dishes! Obviously gf is limited in Chinese takeout, but they understand and you can get some gf dishes. Look-something's here are really good and something's are disappointing. Dumplings are fresh and their Crab Rangoon is sweet not like other places but I like it also; some of their noodle dishes are fantastic. Nothing is a "standard" dish so if you like a Chinese staple the way you think it will taste- it won't taste that way here. We still routinely get food here. read more

Last night we visited this Chinese restaurant for the first time and had limited expectations for the food. Thankfully we didn't pass this restaurant up because it may now be our go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. We loved this place because it has the allure of an old school greasy Chinese restaurant, but the food is actually well made and isn't sliding around on the plate. On top of that, the portions are huge, and we totally looked like a pair of fatties over ordering. The only downside about this restaurant is the fact that the dining area is freezing! We sat in and had to wear our jackets because it was so cold. That being said, we can definitely see ourselves coming back in the future and only ordering half of what we did before! read more

This is the best takeout Chinese we've found on the Cape. That said, it's uneven. Sometimes the food is *on point* but sometimes it's just okay. Pretty sure they have a "good chef" and a "bad chef". But the good chef is so good, we just keep this place on speed-dial. Best "good chef" dishes: Egg rolls, boneless pork, WHITE rice (they put a tiny bit of oil on it which elevates this simple side beyond belief) and Dragon & Phoenix from the "Specialities" menu. That is: half General Tso chicken and half Malaysian/Indonesian Chili-Onion Jumbo Shrimp stir fry. I mean I love Chinese food but I remember being really young and going with my family to eat PuPu Platters-red spare ribs, fat deep fried pork egg rolls, fried battered shrimp, pork strips, teriyaki beef, vats of "duck sauce"-somehow this all got lost to dainty little "spring rolls" and other ridiculously different food.
