Mrs. Chen is a wonderful woman! She's constantly trying to get me to put on weight so she loads me up. She also tries to use local resources. Often times, you will find her fishing in the early morning read more

Good food we love the vegetable rice noodles. The food is consistently good and fresh!

Good basic Chinese food at low prices. Cheerful service I liked the chow mein and egg rolls read more

On Christmas Eve, we had to wait 2 hours past the pickup time. When I got there, they said it was "almost ready". Yeah right. They accepted people's orders despite not being able to handle them and wasted hours of people's time on Christmas Eve. read more

I would like Chen's to be consistent. Sometimes the food is very good and sometimes it's just so so.

Excellent as always.. had crab ragoons veg.lomein egg rolls Gen gau chicken..hot and fresh..being going there forever

Love their spicy green beans and chicken teriyaki! Always fast and friendly service - food is fresh too

Low quality of food and expensive. We ordered crispy pan fried noodles but it was soggy. The lobster sauce was tasteless minced pork drown in thick pale gravy, so thick that a chopstick can stand up in it. The worst $50 spent on basic Chinese dishes. read more

Good for egg rolls service adequate, small place, server ok no smilesjust business ,strictly take out read more

Good food, but the portions have gone WAY DOWN, but the prices have gone WAY UP. Even the bottom layer of rice was usually stuffed, but now it's a small handful and there's a lot more room as the box is not full at all read more

Terrible food. Told them I didn't like it asked if I could get a refund for the food I barley ate. They told me no.

A neighbor here in Pinehills recommended Chen's. Warm winter day so we stopped and ordered apps and took them to the Canal to enjoy. The food was yummy...best crab Rangoon in a long time! read more

The beef fried rice was dry and tasteless instead of cutting beef up it was large strips too chewy. Chicken fingers were not crispy yellow glossy read more

I would give ZERO stars because the quality of the food was SO BAD!!! I cant believe this place has any good reviews. Absolutely disgusting, flavorless, and so dry it was not even edible. Beef on a stick was literally pale grey because it was BOILED low quality meat with no teriyaki sauce. Boneless pork was hard and dry. Chicken wings had a weird yellow greasy batter. Chicken fingers tasted like wet flour. I am so mad because it cost me $40 and I fed it to my dog. THIS PLACE IS NASTY..... will NEVER RETURN read more

Ordered house fried rice without onion and small egg drop soup. Woman asked me if I wanted her to skip the green onion on the soup where I asked for no onion in the rice. Hadn't thought of that but was glad she asked. Soup was decent and was without mushrooms which is how I like it. House fried rice was ok but was dark brown. Usually with house fried rice it is usually lightly fried white rice. All in all I will likely return read more

Waking up late on Cape Cod, means only one thing.... everything closes early so you might not get a descent dinner. As a traveler, I quickly found the nearest restaurant offering some of my favorite dishes, Singapore Rice Noodles, Steamed shrimp and vegetables, and the house special soup (basically all the meat and vegetables packed into a 2 quart container). The price was very reasonable and the pictures describe a delicious feast. I advise just ordering entrees to get the best flavors and quality. I was very happy and satisfied with my meal and they were very friendly and accommodating for my requests, for extra chicken and extra vegetables. The waiter asked, "would you like the $1 or $2 extra option?" I responded, "the $2". The dish (Singapore Rice noodles), was fully loaded with broccoli, and chicken , in addition to shrimp and pork. I highly recommend them, and choosing the more traditional options (vs. General Gaus' chicken), for a real culinary treat! read more

The woman that answered the phone hung up on us several times when we were trying to place our order.

I'm not giving Chen's 5 stars only because - let's face it - it's a takeout dive. There's no excuse for the generally run down grubbiness of the place after only a few months open. There are two tables with a couple of uncomfortable looking mismatched chairs for each. That being said, the grubbiness stops at the counter - the kitchen is open and clean. Go for the delicious food, take it away to eat at home or the beach and sate your Chinese food jones with good stuff. The food stands out for fresh preparation, nice seasoning and a great menu selection of tried & true plus some a few nice surprises like rice noodles and Pad Thai. Pork fried rice - dry, not greasy, delicious ($4.50 small, $6.50 large). Shrimp rice noodles- a huge order ($7.95) had about a half dozen big shrimp (cooked surprisingly perfectly) on top of delicately seasoned rice noodles, also cooked perfectly, not sticky. An appetizer order of chicken wings ($4.75 small, $7.95 large) was a big, overflowing box of 8 huge wings, all three joints, crispy and not at all greasy. My only quibble, having to break down the wings and throw away the tip. Marco Polo - some slices of beef, a few shrimp and lobster sauce that was more pork than sauce - yummy! All atop nicely seasoned lo mein noodles. BBQ boneless ribs ($4.95 small, $9.00 large) surprised me as well, as most of the pork was cut almost julienne sized which I really liked - no chunks of tough, unchewable pork in the order. Very fairly priced, (again, surprisingly) good food, nice people behind the counter, too. On a busy Friday night at 6:00pm the kitchen was flying, the phone ringing nonstop but my order was ready and waiting in the promised 10 minutes. I'm a believer, I'll go back and try some all day special combo plates ($8.55 to $9.25) . There are the usual cast of about two dozen luncheon special plates ($5.25-$6.00) that come with pork fried rice and an appetizer for an extra $1.75. Also all day plates ($6.25-$6.75) another couple of dozen that come with white or pork fried rice. Seriously, if you can't find a combo plate to suit you out of about 60 choices, you're too picky and you should stay home and microwave a Lean Cuisine! FINALLY - good Chinese food in Cedarville/Sagamore without having to drive over to Way Ho's and face the traffic circle of death! read more

Best Chinese in Plymouth. Food is always served hot & phenomenal portions. Never been disappointed in any purchase.

Great flavor, huge portions. I've been going to Chen's for years and absolutely love it. I can't wait for them to reopen so I can be first in line. read more

The first thing I noticed when walking into the restaurant was that it looked very clean in the kitchen area. Stainless stain is spotless which is nice to see. The rice is pretty good but I wasn't fond of the spareribs or teriyaki steak.the crab Rangoon's are really yummy! Chicken fingers were not all batter which is a shock. Will go again! read more

I really like this place. Food is consistently tasty, price point is reasonable and portions are enormous. Definitely a go to!

We ordered sesame chicken, beef&string beans and Singapore rice noodles. Can not dine in. The cashier is very rude. Food is super salty, ruined our vacation mood at Scusset Beach. read more

I think this place gets worse and worse every time I go. Just got food last night and it had absolutely no flavor. NO flavor! Such a bummer... I rarely order take out these days and wish I hadn't. Such a waste of money. Egg roll had no seasoning inside. Just white shreds of cabbage. Chicken fried rice was overly fried rice with only chicken, no veggies at all. The Rangoons were average, scallion pancakes not too bad. But I will not be back there and I would definitely not recommend them to anyone I know. Why is it so hard to find good Chinese food in this area?! read more

Chen's Kitchen - Chinese Near Me - Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts

You know what I like about Chen's Kitchen? The veggies are always fresh and abundant. It might be a bit divey but lunch here is always great. I've had multiple lunch specials and haven't been dissapointed yet. From kung pao to cashew chicken Chen's has been excellent. Clean place and friendly staff. Chen's Kitchen - An abundance of freas veggies in my kung pao luch special. - Chinese Near Me - Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts

Staying in line with the majority of these reviews, I'm gonna go with 4 stars here. The food is pretty good, solid quality. The portions are pretty big as well. The real reason I'm giving this 4, instead of 3, stars is because of the price. You get a large portion of pretty good quality food for $6.50 for lunch. The staff was also pretty nice as well and it had an 'open' kitchen which also indicates they're confident in how they prepare their food (an old tip a restaurant owner gave me from my days as a waiter). There aren't a lot of tables (3 tables each with four seats). Looks likely people take to-go, but the inside is clean and comfortable to eat in. Thank you for being open on Christmas- helping me follow the Jewish tradition of Chinese food on Christmas Day ;) read more

What got me first was how clean the place was. There wasn't that heavy fried food smell or grime anywhere. So that was quite impressive. The food although not terrible wasn't much to write home about. I ordered the sesame chicken, chicken fingers and crab rangoons. The best comparison that I can give you is that the food reminded me of mall food-court food. read more

We were craving some Chinese takeout on New Year's Day and just moved to the area a couple weeks ago, so we weren't sure where to go or even what might be open. Based on Yelp reviews, we decided to go with Chen's. The food was great and the portions were huge! Our $28 order consisted of two appetizers and two meals and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. My husband's only complaint was the poor orange-chicken-to-rice ratio, just a tad more rice would have made a big difference. Service was polite and quick. From what I saw when I picked up our food, I would probably not dine in just based on seating availability and atmosphere, but we will definitely be back for takeout. read more

The food here is usually awesome! I've come here a lot in the past and have always enjoyed it - however today when I got my food home and went to eat it there was hair in it. I was disgusted and immediately got rid of it. Yuck! read more

Food use to be great. Seems like covid hit and it gave the restaurant an excuse to make cheaper food. Gotta find a new place

Great chicken and broccoli. Done just right and not swimming in sauce. Will definitely get there again. read more

The absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. They charged me for an item that they failed to give me. Everything was stale and overcooked. Not quite sure what the stuff there fried wontons with bu it wasn't edible. Very disappointed will never go back there. read more

Consistently good! We frequent this spot nearly weekly- it's the only thing around here we've found that rivals New York City Chinese food! Affordable, fast, and tasty! So glad we can across this place! read more

I've ordered takeout from here 6 times and have been happy every time. The portion to price ratio is above average and I really like their boiled rice. My wife thinks the fried rice is good too. For under 20 bucks we both get plenty to eat with leftovers too. read more

This place is great-our first experience and my husband and I are sold. We live in Ellisville/Cedarville and have always been disappointed that there isn't good Chinese nearby. (The place in Manomet is gross as is Way Ho(rrible). I was very excited when he brought this menu home and we tried it tonight-fantastic. I had a craving for Thai so I was pleased that they had a Pad Thai option and I like that they let me combine two flavors (veggie and tofu.) The spring roll was delicious. My husband got General Tso's chicken and we agreed it is the best we've ever had. The sauce was so delicious and chicken was tender and cooked well. Can't wait for next time! Thank you Chen's Kitchen!! read more

Chen's food quality is very uneven, but certain items are exceptional: 5 spice chicken wings, won ton soup, veggie lo mein and teriyaki beef are our favorites. read more

This is a much better than average Chinese take out restaurant. The ingredients are fresh, with abundant crunchy veggies and without the goopy, briney sauce prevalent in most Chinese-American dishes. Everything tastes homemade, and the serving sizes are huge. Yum! read more
