My wife and I ate here for lunch today. A very clean restaurant and we were greeted at the door by the friendly owners and shown a table. We had some lunch specials and loved the fried rice. Hey price was right the food was decent we always like the very fast service start to finish. The place is not the Kowloon but better than most in the area. I will return for another meal. read more

First.. the staff was huddled near a corner table talking family conversation. Took a wh I le to approach our table. We ordered a pu pu platter for 2. The waitresses returned with the food ..no sterno to warm the skewed meats etc. So no war.ing flame. Everything tasted like mystery meat i mean really, not a thing tasted as expected. I'm 54...I love these kinds of places. C'mon guys, it's fried bad food... you can step it up a notch. Cardboard testers chicken cases in rock solid break your molars fried housing. Chicken fried rice with the same cardboard tasteless chicken. Don't even try the chicken wings, one look and they were in the trash. The teriyaki - I mean how do you screw up teriyaki sticks???? This place was awesome like 19-20 yrs. Ago. Food was delicious and flavorful drinks great We ordered awhile back and noticed the food was not good crab Rangoon's which used to be the best ever were awful. So we stopped going. After several years we thought maybe things had changed. Ordered from there tonite and was inedible. Very greasy fried and overcooked. Steak teriyaki was gross and had no flavor at all. OMG!! More like Stay away Ho!! Never had a really bad Chinese food in my life and I'm chinese!!! I'm saying every single dish!! SO BAD!! We should have left after the first 3 dishes!!! We went there on Monday after the afternoon at the beach and want to get Chinese food for dinner before an hour drive home. We have 12 peoples so I ordered 8 dishes for the table to share. First 2 dishes came so fast and there were Pork fried rice and Pork strip. Fri rice smell very weird and sour as they use rice that were sitting in the warm kitchen a a couple of day and the strip pork which not a strip at all look like slice of small size bologna and so dry, my daughter ate one and no one else want to eat it. I send back the fried rice and tell the owner to change to general Gao chicken instead which look like they use frozen chicken to cook it real quick, I took a bite and tell eveyone not to touch it. the other 4 dishes had a different name but they all have the same sauce on top and were very salty and sauce were so thick almost like already made and left in the pot for a long time. Shrimp lomein... the noodle is hard , beef chow fun.. beef is smell weird so we only took a fews bite from the plate. For the price ... small plate for $15.95 for almost every dish.. the plate were flat so food over flow and the owner who is the server.. his thump was inside the food... I was going to order appetizer but $13 for crab rangoon!! glad i decided not to. IThe owner give us a bill and I told him that I'm not paying for general Gao but will pay for other even many of them were still almost the full plate left and still give hime 10% tip which I feel regret afterward ( the owner is the one who serve us). Oh the price My sister in law told them that your food is horrible and they say Oh well!! The whole night I was worry about my family might get sick from the food!! To the owner if you read this review, I don't know how you stay in business with is kind of food you serve peoples..especially with bad meat!! one of these day you could kill some one with food poisoning especially elderly. Our favorite cape chinese place (Golden Place) is closed so we ordered pick up from Way Ho. I ordered the crispy orange beef and my bf got the general gao's chicken. We also got crab rangoons. $43ish total which is steep for cape food. We're from Boston so we usually eat in Chinatown. Big difference in taste!! Both dishes had good quality meat but basically 0 taste. Not sure what happened but they were extremely blah tasting. Also the crab rangoons were terrible. I was referred to this restaurant from a few people who said it was very good. I live in Plymouth and was in the area and wanted good Chinese food. My bill was over $100. Stopped in to order take out, when I got home the broccoli I ordered was rotted, it was black, basically old broccoli that was not good. The Orange Chicken had no taste or hint of orange in it. The General Tso chicken was not thoroughly cooked, very bland. We also ordered House Fried Rice, no flavor, spare ribs and an order of egg rolls, which were not very good. I lived in Plymouth until 2015 and we always got Chinese food from Way Ho because it was so good. Well we moved back to Plymouth in 2023 and for the first time had Chinese food in October 2024. This place has gone down the hill. We spent over a $100 in food and ended up throwing it all out. We ordered General Gaus chicken (chicken chunks were all fatty), House Fried Rice (100% tasteless) orange chicken (that had bitter orange zest throughout, makes me ill to still think about it. Also got Chicken Wing (which were ok), boneless spareribs (fatty as hell) and an order of Broccoli (that was all rotten when we got home. Stay far away from this dump read more

The restaurant was dirty upon entry and smelt like a bathroom. We ordered our food and it came out fast. Which was a sign of the things to come. The food had 0 taste I mean 0 flavor, pork on the pupu platter smelt of literal dog food. The fire in the middle was a little stone like pot with a thick layer of black grease/crud on the base which was touching all of our food. The low mein was made with an expired product based on the taste. I couldn't even swallow it. The plates and cutlery were dirty. She tried to be nice about all these issues but never offered to take anything off. Needless to say never come here I do not endorse this restaurant. Used to be our go to Chinese food restaurant. We had a mediocre experience about 3 years ago and thought we should try again . We had to throw our entire order out. The pork fried rice had a heavy metallic taste to it and the pork in the rice was almost all fat, but worst of all the beef in our orange beef smelled off and tasted like it was rotten. This was hands down the worst (and potentially most unsafe) meal we have ever ordered anywhere in the world (we have lived in South Asia, Europe and the Middle East and have traveled throughout Asia and South and Latin America, so winning the award for the worst dish ever is quite an accomplishment). We did not even mind losing the $67 we paid for meal (which included 2 chicken dishes) since we knew that taking evasive action saved our family from potential food poisoning. read more

Weird, like two restaurants on the same property. Sushi place closed so I tried the Chinese side. Hot and Sour Soup - Ugh, perhaps the worst I've had. Way too big a portion to stay warm and the consistency of my Mom's thanksgiving gravy. Garlic Beef - Underdeveloped flavor, nice crunch on the peppers but average. This review is 2 years overdue. We first tried Way Ho a couple years back and didn't like it at all. The rice was rather hard and undercooked. The beef and chicken dishes we shared were really fatty and the shrimp was gross. We tried it again last night. This time we didn't get the beef because it was worst of all dishes we tried years ago. However, the food was just as bad. The woman at the counter doesn't smile or say, "Thank you" as you sign out. NOT WAY HO but Go A-WAY-HO. I am a Long Island transplant who grew up with an abundance of Asian Restaurants; there was a Chinese restaurant on every corner in each town. So, here on the Cape, my longing for quality Chinese food has taken me from Orleans to Plymouth. I am hard-pressed to even recommend any one of them that I have visited. But, WAY-HO, unfortunately missed the mark on almost every dish that I ordered. It was bland bland bland and expensive, expensive, expensive. I had two bites of the General Tsaos Chicken which they call General Chou and the rest was tossed into the garbage. No flavor except for the oil in which it was cooked. The fried rice perhaps had a bit of redeeming power but that's it! Try making stir fry at home, even if you are no cook to say, it would be better than the food that I ordered. Whew !!!! The food top notch. The people who work here do their job and they do it perfectly. The place looks and feels clean. My lovely Gf loves the mixed drinks. Wonderful atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Everything you want in a restaurant it's right here. This place can also help if you are going for a colonoscopy. I recently had my first. Nothing I mean Second to none this place can prep you for your colonoscopy and you get to enjoy what you are consuming for once. After eating here. I had about 3 hours before I experienced the most powerful shit I ever took in my life. I swear I came off the seat a good 3 inches for the first few seconds. Thank the good lord I was home.
