This is really more of a 3.5 but I'm giving it 4 because of the service and the crab rangoons. I got the chicken pad Thai combo which comes with 2 crab Rangoons and 2 dumplings. The dumplings were nicely fried but more of a meatball inside. The crab rangoons were to die for. I'd go back just for these. The pad Thai had decent flavor but the noodles seemed more like vermicelli noodles rather than the typical flat pad Thai noodles. I have yet to meet a pad Thai I didn't enjoy but this doesn't top my favorites. I'd go again if I'm in the area but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go. read more

So happy to finally get to try this place! First of all, the atmosphere is nothing to write home about. Tiny and even a bit dingy with no bathroom available. This is not a complaint, but definitely something to be aware of. We were seated quickly, but the restaurant got busy very quickly and there was only one server. surgery was extremely nice but with the whole restaurant full, she was busy therefore we waited quite a bit longer than expected for everything. We ordered quite a bit of food with a bit of variety and everything was good. The fresh roll and chicken satay appetizers were both delicious and very reasonably priced. The pad see yew was AMAZING and so was the basil with beef. Our only complaint was the pad thai, which I am sure is surprising, since it must be their most popular menu item. It was lacking the sauciness that we love on pad thai dishes. Still had a great taste, but a little dry for our liking. Overall, great thai and we will definitely be back. read more

My family is actually obsessed with Krua Thai. We've been coming here since it opened in the OG spot across the road, and I judge every other Thai restaurant against their food. Apps, noodles, curries, the FRIED ICE CREAM... all delicious. Maybe would deduct half a star for ambiance, since the new location is takeout/to go style only (we've tried Krua Thai II for dine in style, but found the food quality was lacking in comparison to Krua Thai I). This restaurant used to be good/great in their old location. Now it is so disappointing. The new space is clean and bright and you order at the counter. EVERYTHING comes in or on plastic which feels so wasteful. The food we ordered was bland and greasy. Pad See Ew had overcooked broken up mushy noodles with a tasteless bland sauce. The brocolli in it was raw and cut too large so it was hard to eat. The shrimp were cooked well and fairly generous. The appetizer was cold and inedible with a sugary flavorless sauce. It's just a storefront building with very little seating in a small kitchen so if you're looking for fine dining, this isn't the place to go. however, if you're looking for a taste of authentic Thai food with good size portions and reasonable pricing, this is a must stop. the pad Thai was extremely good and the peanut sauce was really tasty, but wasn't overwhelming on the dish. we shared a two person appetizer, and all the food was very good even the tofu, which I'm usually not a fan of the server was kind enough to point out what each food was on the appetizer platter, so we knew, and she was very friendly to us. They have a pretty good selection of local brews which we also enjoy when we're down in a vacation spot we did eat in the restaurant and it was fine but we would've been just as good bringing it back to our room and eating it just because it's a storefront restaurant don't give up on it like we almost did it has some very good food inside read more

We stopped here a few days ago to give it a try. So glad we did, walked in with a friendly and warm welcome from the host. We sat down and right away the host came and offered the menu and told us to order at the register and the food will be served at the table. Of course we had to try Pad Thai. If it's good then everything else will be good too. Food, Tom Kha Gai, chicken satay, platter of samplers, Thai Ice Tea( very good we'll balanced, not too sweet). Service was fast and pleasant and food was hot! Love it! Relaxed atmosphere and young kids friendly, bright inside so you can see the food clearly. Verdict-Pad Thai was very good, I could taste the Tamarind, it is actually perfect to my taste and my husband and my children loved it! We stayed at Buzzards Bay at a vacation home and this was hands down the best food we had during our stay! We had this the first night we were there and it set the bar high. We crave asian food in general and there aren't any credible asian restaurants in the area. This place hit the spot! We had several orders of the crispy chicken crazy noodles and crispy chicken pad thai...wow, the chicken was definitely the home made type and didn't tastes "rubbery" like the mass produced/bought ones. The flavor was on point. This was take out and the food still tasted great! If you're in this area and craving asian food, you cannot go wrong with Krua Thai. We'll definitely go there again if we're in the area. oh, and prices were very reasonable. Our party of 10 would eat very well for less than $150. Every other night we went to the seafood places and spent around $400 each night. Ouch, what a difference. read more

First time eating here last night, New Year's Eve. YUMMMMMMM!!! Golden bags are where it's at! Never had them. Am now addicted! The fresh rolls are simple, yet delicious, and a healthier option to traditional egg rolls. The Tom yum soup was fantastic and tasted very fresh and had good depth of flavor. We also had chicken mango curry and pineapple fried rice which were both excellent. I had fresh lime on hand at home and gave almost everything a squeeze of that. Really elevated the freshness of the meal, wish they would include lime wedges in the take out bag. The only thing that fell short was that nothing was as spicy as I usually like it. Next time I'll ask them to boost the spice a bit. The wareham location also has a drive through!!! But for sure, krua Thai will be on speed dial on our phones from now on! read more

The staff here are so nice. We initially ordered delivery through Grubhub, but an hour later it still hadn't left the restaurant. I called them to ask to change it to pickup. They were very apologetic and said they'd called Grubhub twice to find out why nobody had picked it up. They were able to cancel the order and even made new appetizers since the originals had been sitting around for an hour. The food was really tasty. The vegetarian pancake was fried after steaming so it was crispy outside and soft inside. And there was some flavor on the broccoli in the pad see ew that was amazing - dark and intense yet sweet. We are working our way through the menu, but the Thai fried rice, shrimp tempura and the crab rangoons are always part of our take out order. Just ordered the Fresh Rolls and Vegetable pancake (scallion pancake) for an appetizer with peanut sauce on the side (AMAZING on the spring rolls) I usually get crispy chicken fried rice but today I got crispy chicken pad Thai with crab Rangoon on the side.
