The best pad Thai I've had in the US. Also has frozen meals to take home. Excellent Thai iced tea too.

The food here is great - some very good, high quality Thai food. The building was just redone as well and now very cute and clean inside

Cilantro Thai will reopen! Can't wait. Apparently they're moving back to their original location due to the landlord's generosity.

Big X for unoccupied building indicates they are out of business! Kind of annoyed since we drove pretty far to try it out.

5 stars isn't enough. After a long drive with two littles in the car, traveling from Providencetown…read moreto New Hampshire, we (wife and I) were craving Thai food since our home in Bangor doesn't have much options. Found this place from yelp and liked the rating, distance from freeway and the old diner look. As we entered, we were greeted by the nicest gentleman who resembled any loving and caring grandfather( not saying he's old). Both of my kids felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. This place had the vibe of a 50's diner and had a sweet "TukTuk" sitting in the corner. Naturally my son was drawn to sit in it. On the counter next to this was a basket of small kid toys, again my son was drawn to this. As my son picked out a toy and attempted to "sneak" it back to our table, the gentleman saw how koy my son was being and the cutest interaction happened. Being that we haven't had good Thai food in too long, we bought way too much. Pad Se Ew w/chicken Green Curry w/tofu Papaya salad Fresh rolls 3 orders of sticky rice Khao soi And because my son is a picky eater, they agreed to just cook him some shrimp. 108 bucks for this feast. Not bad. Papaya salad was fresh and citrusy, Fresh rolls were fantastic with the dipping sauce and peanut sauce, Pad Se Ew was fantastic Green curry was thick, rich and very flavorful Sticky rice was perfect Shrimp did the trick. The Khao Soi was PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Spicy, rich broth, crispy wontons, plenty of noodles. Hands down, best I've had. I would travel back from Bangor just for this. Throughout our meal, the owner sat down and we had great conversation. I can tell that it's mostly locals who order in and to go. He was very pleasant to talk with. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and 5 stars doesn't do it justice. Thank you for this amazing meal.

Plenty of parking in the lot and the space had a good amount of tables. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. The only weird thing was there was a whole wing of the restaurant that had cornhole boards set up - it takes away a bit of the ambiance, I think it might be better if that room was closed off to separate dining from leisure but no one was really playing except for a few kids so it wasn't bothersome. We ordered the Kana Moo Grab (pork belly with Chinese broccoli), Chicken Pad Thai, a wonton soup and a side of sticky rice. We enjoyed everything! Food came out fast and hot and was delicious! There wasn't too much foot traffic, a few other tables and takeout orders only. Would def return here to try other options!

The proprietor was kind and attentive. Told us which dishes were ideally suited for no spice for the littles. She also let us know about a community event a block down. Hot basil stir fry had reasonable spice (which is to say that it actually had some bite). We also got tamarind duck and a beef stir fry with no spice... Flavors seemed a bit americanized, which isnt our cup of tea.

We made the drive out to Middleborough to give Check In Thai Cuisine a try and ended up ordering…read morequite a bit so we could get a good feel for the menu. Overall, we were really happy with the meal and there were a couple of dishes that genuinely stood out. The Samui Fried Rice was probably one of my favorites. You could immediately taste the wok hei. The rice had that smoky, slightly charred flavor that you only really get when fried rice hits a properly hot wok. It makes such a difference compared to fried rice that tastes like it was simply tossed together. The shrimp were a good size, the vegetables still had some texture, and everything was seasoned well without being overly salty. The Pad Gra Paow was another standout for the same reason. Tons of wok hei and a really nice savory basil flavor throughout the dish. I love when you can actually taste that something came straight out of a ripping hot wok, and both this and the fried rice had that quality. Definitely two dishes I would order again. We also tried the Spicy Basil Fried Cod, which came with a generous piece of fried fish and plenty of vegetables. The cod held up nicely against the sauce without becoming completely soggy. We also ordered the Choo Chee Duck, which was rich and flavorful and a nice change from the usual noodle and rice dishes we tend to order at Thai restaurants. The Yum Beef Salad was a nice contrast to everything else. Lots of beef with cucumber and herbs, and the brighter, tangier flavors helped break up some of the heavier dishes. One thing I especially appreciated was how accommodating they were with spice levels. My fiancée grew up eating Hong Kong-style food and her definition of spicy is basically... no spice . Some Thai restaurants say they can make something mild and it still comes out with enough heat that she can't really enjoy it. Check In actually listened. Her food came out genuinely mild without tasting bland, while the dishes we wanted with more heat could still be made accordingly. If you're dining with people who have very different spice tolerances, that's a big plus. And definitely get a Thai iced tea. Sweet, creamy, cold, and exactly what I wanted alongside the spicier and more savory dishes. We finished with the coconut pudding, which was a nice little sweet ending after ordering way too much food. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but it has a cozy, casual feel. Service was friendly, and considering how many different dishes we ordered, everything came out well. Overall, Check In Thai Cuisine is a really solid little Thai spot that would be easy to overlook from the outside. The biggest thing that would bring me back is the wok cooking. That smoky wok hei in the fried rice and gra paow was easily the highlight of the meal. If it were my first visit, I'd start with the Samui Fried Rice, Pad Gra Paow, and a Thai iced tea. Those were the winners for me. We'll definitely be back, especially since we're going to be spending more time around the Plymouth area.
