I order here frequently for pick up and delivery as well. I also stop by and order when out and about. Same thing every time. Large house fried rice. Asked if I want sauces I say yes. Especially Teriyaki. She sends 1(one) every time. Even when you pick it up I get home and there is 1ONE. Seriously that is absurd and really how much does that save them and of course there is no mustard sauce as always even when asked if I want it and I say yes!!! I also offer to pay extra. A large house fried rice and she gives you ONE teriyaki. ABSURD. I would ask them to send mustard sauce and possibly one more teriyaki, but I'm pretty sure she is not compensating the driver for time and gas if she is sending out ONE packet of teriyaki for a large order. So it a given that MA don't have very good Asian food but this place was absolutely horrible. No less spare ribs need fried rice. So before I even tasted it I knew there was something wrong just by looking at it. The food taste old. The rice tasted t days old and not cooked all the way through. The customer service at this restaurant is atrocious. The first time we had an issue with this restaurant, I was cursed out and screamed at by an associate over not knowing about a policy they claimed they had (after ordering multiple times from there) that they required to see ID at the door when they delivered our food. Last night, our order took 2.5 hours to be delivered. When I placed the order, the manager informed me it would be a little over an hour. 2.5 hours is much longer than "over an hour". I called 1.5 hours into waiting to get an update to which they told me the only delivery driver they had would be there in 15 minutes. We were more than patient. When the delivery driver called me for directions, I provided her directions from the restaurant to our apartment building. She then corrected me and told me she was coming from another delivery so she wasn't coming from that direction. My boyfriend who waited at the door for the delivery could see the delivery driver parked across the street while on the phone with me. I then gave her correct instructions based on where she told me she was. She then told me that was not where she was. I tried to give her directions, but she kept interrupting me. After nearly 2.5 hours of waiting and it being 9pm (after ordering at 6:45), we got our dinner which was cold, and not good. I followed up with the manager today, since we both work early hours in the morning and went directly to bed, and the manager was ridiculously rude. I explained the situation, was more than polite about it, however the manager said that "that is not my problem, you should've called and said you didn't want it anymore, you need to give the driver directions". She said that it was unacceptable for me to call today instead of last night and she will not refund us for the food that is currently sitting in my garbage. Well, after waiting 2.5 hours and needing to be up at 4am the following day, I went to bed after eating some of the below average Chinese food, thinking I could call today on my lunch break to discuss this with a professional manager, which it seems they lack here. It seems like they do not care about customers being happy, but just want your money for their crappy food. I will NEVER purchase from a business that has absolutely no customer service values. As someone who has worked in customer service for years, this is never how you speak to someone regardless of the resolution. Overpriced. Rude. And we were more than patient to wait an hour and a half for food, but to wait almost 2.5 hours is absurd. read more

My rating for China Chef's service is 5+. Everyone behind the counter is cordial, and some are fun to talk with. Over the phone, the person taking my order patiently responds to my questions about menu items. Tonight I reported that I thought my dish had been made wrong, described why it seemed wrong, and the China Chef person immediately offered me a free replacement. The food is fine for Chinese fast food. Some of the dishes are very good. Their "hot and spicy" dishes are mildly spiced, not really hot. The fried rice is never greasy, always fresh. My son is devoted to the lobster sauce (a seafood dish, not simply a sauce). Nice selection of rice noodles. I'm partial to the Singapore Rice Noodles, which are lightly curried. Overall, always a pleasant experience, start to finish. If you're looking for high-end Chinese food, go to a sit-down restaurant. If you want fast, good food and good service, then try China Chef. read more

I've been going to China Chef for almost a year a I haven't had any trouble with me. Granting the female who handle's thee ordering over the phone once or 2 she was rude but you have to realizes it's a business and it could be busy or her staff is giving her a hard time. But for me she has always been very kind and nice to me. And when some people get it in their head they got a bad service which could be true or not the food will always taste like crap no mater where you are eating the food at what ever Restaurant you are at. For myself i highly recommend the Shrimp Fried Rice ( Good size plump shrimp's the rice cook nice and soft the way I love it and I hold the onions but leave in the bean sprouts to giving it that little veggie cruch. There Appetizers are awesome must try is the chicken wings and to have them this is the best way to order them like this. I would like a large order of chicken wings and please fried them well-done. Because the skin gets nice and crispy and the wing part is completely covered with that skin so when you take off the Yummi crispy skin and devour it. You will fine the meat shining because it's moist, tender, & Juice and it's Delizioso, Délicieux, & just Delicious my friends. And as for the little leg I like to dip in blue cheese or Kool ranch, but what what ever dipping sauce you like from none to mild to spicy to gab some marshmallows I have a fire in my mouth. Also the steamed Peking Dumplings they are fantastic when hot but even more so after you put them in the frig. Because they are the best midnight snack's going that's why I say order two but they have to be steamed not fried that's important. One other item you may like or not and the price is very low is the Shrimp Chips, small or Large they give you a lot. There House Special Combination it's one price and you have 3 choice's to make. 1st. Choose two appetizers and you have 11 to choose from. 2nd. Choose what you want with it like lobster sauce , moo goo gai pan, or even Szechuan Chicken or Shrimp. 3rd. Choose weather you want Lo Mein or Fried Rice and it's pork and tell you this if you go For the rice they pile it on good. I called in for takeout, and wanted to order a combination plate with chicken fingers and strained chow mein. I was told that it's not possible to do that, even though I've done it at every other Chinese food restaurant I've ever ordered from. So I order them separate. 5 minutes later they call me back and tell me they have no idea what strained chow mein is. I tried to explain what it meant, and he was wildly rude to me for absolutely no reason. I work retail so I am always trying to be as nice as possible to others in the service industry, but I ended up asking him to just take it off. By reading other reviews I see they are known for being rude, little did I know. I got back to work after picking up my chicken fingers, and they were all COVERED in grease, with about 1/4" of dirty grease sitting at the bottom of the container. More than half of the chicken fingers were over cooked and the batter on them was super crunchy. I so regret ordering from them. read more

I ate there today with my two kids.. Wanted something to eat on our way home that wasn't some kind of fast food burger joint. The inside leaves much to be desired but i think this place is mostly take out or delivery. I love Chinese food and eat it regularly.. This place was super good!! We had won ton soup, really really generous with veggies and pork. Beef and broccoli was excellent, really tender beef and plenty of it. House lo mein was very excellent as well. The food is very salty and they use canned vegetables in their soups. I order an egg drop soup and it was inedible.
