The food was tasteless. My husband had shrimp lo mein, the shrimp was out of a can, no vegetables, the noodles were round, hard and tasteless. I had fried tofu with broccoli and white sauce. Gave this place a shot on a whim. I ordered wonton soup and garlic chicken. The soup was overly salty with canned mushrooms and passable wontons. The chicken was rubbery, no vegetables at all, served in a repulsive STRONGLY fish-smelling brown sauce with zero garlic flavor. Chatting with the friendly owner about the 30 years in business, I wanted to like this place, but... we ended up throwing out 2/3 of our takeout order. The boneless spareribs were grisly and so fatty. The teriyaki beef was tough and chewy. The sauce in the chicken with ginger and scallions was a glob of brown goo after sitting for 30 minutes. Also....opened bag when I got home and one of the items we ordered was not there.....replaced with a totally different dish that we had no interest in and did not order. Ordered for take out. Very fast service and food was still hot when we arrived home. We ordered a small portion of chicken, chow mein, and a small portion of shrimp with pea pods. The chow mein was OK needed bean sprouts and more celery. The shrimp with pea pods was lacking in flavor, but there was a good portion of shrimp and peapods. We would consider ordering both again sometime. We also ordered pad Thai. The pad Thai was flavorless and dry. The egg was crispy, the shrimp minuscule and chicken. hardly any at all. There were a few bean sprouts and they were over cooked in with the noodles. Not raw and crispy as in most pad Thai's There was one small scallion and a few peanuts. I called in advance and asked for it to go order of fried rice and spring rolls. I asked for two extra eggs in my fried rice, because I ordered vegetarian and I wanted some extra protein. I opened up the rice once I got home and they're clearly was no extra egg in the fried rice. To charge 4.00 And not even put it in the rice is really not cool. In addition, my veggie rice had one, yes, one slice of mushroom. How do you make vegetarian fried rice with one slice of mushroom. I will never go here again. I knocked several times, but no one came to the door so I drove home. I called about 12:30 and the phone was answered by a woman. I said that I had come by earlier and no one was there, all locked up. She said she was late, but here now so do I want to order-very snippy. I placed the order as mentioned above, picked it up and came home a couple hours later. I was surprised the price went up so much. Upon opening my order, it was with rice, not lo mein. I was disappointed, also that the container was smaller than in the past, so less rice or lo mein. I was also disappointed at the size of the two beef teriyaki strips. Before, they were almost the full length of the skewers, about 6". This time, there was a tiny little piece of beef in the middle of the skewers, about 2", just about one bite. There was not enough food for us to share. So, the price went up, the container size went down, I got rice instead of lo mein, and two very little pieces of beef- quite a shock after what I have gotten in the past. Plus I had to make two trips. I called about 5:00pm and asked to speak to an owner or manager, to express my feelings about the order. A man came on the phone, I asked if he was an owner or manager and he said yes- I don't know which and he didn't give me his name. I hope that was not you. He dismissed all my concerns and said that is the way it is, basically too bad for you. I can understand prices going up, but not at the same time everything gets smaller, plus no lo mein and going to the restaurant twice. No apology for the inconvenience to me or wrong food. Ugh, honestly some of the lowest quality Chinese food I've ever had. Most of the dishes we got: inedible. If you say scallops in chili sauce, don't make it a sweet chili sauce. Called in an order early on New Year's Eve and, as expected, extremely busy. Got home and couldn't chew the boneless spareribs. Rest of meal was mediocre. No way I was going to drive over there again so the next day I returned the ribs and was offered another order which I refused and got my money back. Decided, more recently, to try again. Unfortunately, worse! Boneless ribs AND beef teriyaki were like shoe leather and no flavor. Sweet and sour chicken was okay. I did request no msg but that has never affected the flavor there or any Chinese restaurant. They gave me 5 pieces of fishy shrimp in a tasteless sauce no garlic no veggies no anything!!! 22$ N they charged extra for the rice. The people are rude . During a weekend getaway to the cape I stopped at Sun On. Ordered a PuPu Platter and beef fried rice. Reminded me of my favorite spot as a kid. Egg rolls, crab rangoons and fried rice were the stand out. Everything was delicious and everyone was very friendly. I wish I could have went back for more. My only 2 minor complaint is the price that rung up was higher than the online menu stated and I asked for extra duck sauce and they gave me two very small plastic containers, not much. Craving good Chinese..where to go? Not on Cape Cod, that's for sure. Tried a dinner combo (sesame chicken with white rice for the dog and chicken fingers). Around 9 and change for super greasy fingers (tossed them) and gristly overcooked orange chicken bathed in a sickening sweet sauce. Tossed most of that. We ordered take out tonight (2/20/23) and it was so bad we had to throw it all out: chicken & rice soup (chick unchewable and no liquid at all), chick with garlic sauce had absolutely no taste, kung pao chick also no taste and a few soggy veggies, shrimp with broccoli only thing edible. I called them and after much argument, the female owner gave me 1/2 refund. For a full refund, we'd have to bring all the food back! We'd already ditched it and we don't live near there. Just ordered take out from there on Sunday Aug 15th. Horrible!!! I love boneless spare ribs, They had no flavor. The larger container of pork fried rice only had maybe 20 small pieces of pork and the rice was eh! I live on the cape and won't be ordering from there again or recommending them. Maybe it's because it's tourist season and they think They don't have to cook very well. You know what Leo says when you order take out... You get F'd. Don't waste your money or time. Their wonton soup is only available in a pint and the wontons are really soggy. If you are a soup fan try Quan Chinese Restaurant next to Ring Bros. on 134. It's really good and it comes in quarts. Also, why do we always have to ask for rice? It should come with your order! read more

Their Moo Shi Chicken is very good and I was pleasantly surprised to find Pad Thai on the menu -- it's also a winner ! We tried Sun On and we didn't half-do it. We got the orange chicken, crispy beef, Fried rice, teriyaki beef and pad Thai noodles, and egg rolls. Wow it was great. The orange chicken was fantastic with just a little burn, the crispy beef was sweet, the fried rice was top0notch and the teriyaki beef was tender and tasty. The only disappointment was the pad Thai noodles, which are just spaghetti with a weird sauce - might want to skip that.... We will be back! read more

Great local spot for Chinese. The prices are very reasonable and they are always quick. I love their house fried rice and chicken fingers. My go to move Wife and kids are huge fans of the chicken lo mein and chicken with broccoli. Lunch specials are the best deal in town. Just be a little patient as they are struggling with a rotation of new phone answerers. Other than that fresh quality food at a great price is always a win in my book. read more

Awesome food, awesome location. The staff is also very nice. I recommend ordering from the dinner specials, big portions that can fill you up.
