The food here taste great but I wouldn't say it's anything special. I've eaten at the restaurant and ordered take out and both were good. The restaurant is on a very busy street but there is plenty of parking.

Food was good - but like others have stated, the prices were really high. Portions were not good as well, especially for the price. Hostess was friendly - waiter was not. Not sure if I'd return.

A group of us dined here last minute, we arrived around 8:30pm on a Sunday night. Everything appeared clean and well put together. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. We were told they have buffet but had just missed it as it was done at 8pm. It was a group of 9 of us, and we all ordered a variety of food and drinks, and we all agreed that everything was delicious except the chicken skewers, which were flavorless. The service was good , we would definitely return back. We tried a Pistachio martini which was absolutely amazing and so unique.

Tofu with sauté vegetables with black beans sauce. So incredibly delicious.

Mattakeese Wharf... mmhmm!…read more A destination and one we frequent on a whim; we will drive from WeBe to Barnstable just for a dinner. Everything is top shelf, fresh and prepared exceptionally well. Prices are just right. Staff is friendly and very professional. The menu is large and the facility is large, nautical themed, and also very clean. A darn fine two pound boiled lobster. Seasonal. Valet parking. It's like visiting an old friend at the North River House or Justin's Hearthside... you know it's going to be good. No negatives whatsoever. A must visit when on the Cape.

The manager comped our drinks--- a martini and a water, and a bowl of soup. Really? My dinner was $78. The manager refused to come talk to us. And while we were eating, they decided it was a great time to vacuum and wash the windows. The windows were open, so we were sprayed with Windex while eating. Well, only one of us was eating, I was looking at a raw lobster on a plate. I've never left a restaurant hungrier than when I came in before, this was a first , and last. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment. I don't mind paying the price for good food, but I definitely did not get that here. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

We had a reservation for 2 and were quickly escorted to a comfortable table. Lucas was our server and he got us situated with some beverages first, we had the bad bunny, which we had tried before and was excellent and a new raspberry gin martini on the cocktail list which was so tasty the second round we got two of those. For appetizers we had the oysters which were shucked beautifully and were served with a wonderful mignonette, and beef chicharrones which were light and delicious. We had another slightly heartier round of appetizers, the lamb rotolini and stuffed squash blossoms, both of which were also scrumptious. For entrees we had the local striped bass and jerk pork shank. The bass was cooked perfectly and the caponata served with it complemented the fish very well. Lucas also recommended a Chardonnay that paired with the bass wonderfully. The pork shank really stole the show though first of all it was huge, and it was also so tender. The curry mayo served with it I want to use as a condiment for everything for the rest of my life. For dessert we had the blueberry vacherine. The lemon and blueberry in it had a wonderful blend of tart and sweet, and was very light and easy to eat after our large meals. Everything also arrived in a very reasonable amount of time even though the restaurant was completely full. We had a lovely time and are so happy they are open again after their kitchen remodel. Would highly recommend the pheasant to anyone visiting the area and locals alike!

The food was truly the highlight beautifully presented, incredibly creative, and made with outstanding quality ingredients. This is absolutely a restaurant we'll be returning to again and again. We visited Leonessa in 2023 however. We always consider this meal one of the top 5 best meals we ever had, maybe even the best. It may have been perfect timing paired with the kitchen and staff being top notch or just the way the world was spinning that night but it was 10/10. The polenta fries with the truffle aiola was a great pairing with the amatriciana we got for starters. The pork chop is one of the two best pork chops I ever had. I typical order a pork chop when dining out so I have a good list of places to order one and this one sits at the top. My Wife ordered the roasted chicken. Chicken can sometimes be just, chicken. Well, when done correctly it can be a lot more. Best chicken dish my Wife has ordered although, we do tend to stay away from ordering basic chicken dishes. However, it was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The service was 10/10 and all of their recommendations were spot on, including the wine.

From Dennis we could see all the way to Monomoy Island, which made the whole evening feel special. Olivia, our server, was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. We started with the Crispy Point Judith Calamari, perfectly fried with bright pickled peppers and a great lemon aioli. So tasty. My friend and I were there for drinks, but she ended up getting clam chowder before the kitchen closed for the afternoon. Unfortunately, it came out barely lukewarm. I assume they don't make the soup from scratch each bowl, so they really only needed to warm it up to the right temperature. The women's restroom only had 2 stalls and 2 sinks. One stall had no toilet paper and one sink had no soap. I get that the soap dispenser might be broken, but there's no reason to have no toilet paper when there were exactly 4 people standing around talking at the host stand... The table service from Karlo was attentive and polite. I went back with 3 others on Sunday as we had a brunch reservation for 10 AM. This was nothing short of a disaster. We got there on time and put in our orders quickly. The food (mostly consisting of various kinds of eggs, toast, avocados, and yogurt) took nearly an hour to come out. We asked twice and were told that the kitchen was backed up. They should have staggered reservations and seating if they couldn't accommodate a full restaurant near the time of opening. The rest of my day was rushed because I had to wait an hour for scrambled eggs and an english muffin. While the service was friendly, they even charged us for an iced tea refill and took the coffee cups away instead of offering more. If you're making us wait an hour for breakfast, maybe do a solid and offer a free refill of the non-alcoholic beverages. [Or even the alcoholic ones!] All in all, the service is decent and the view is great. The food and the wait leaves much to be desired. If I come back, it'll be drinks-only.
