    Saga Hibachi Mashpee sushi

Love the sushi & bar. Have yet to try the hibachi. I have been several times early evening. Went recently for late lunch found the bartender to be preoccupied (not the usual girl who's amazing) and edamame was stale but every other time was great!

Went for weekday lunch and came across their lunch special. What a wonderful deal. We each had a bento box lunch. This included the following: Great miso soup and salad, shrimp Schumai & 8 California sushi rolls ,a large scoop of rice and vegetables with teriyaki steak. Meat was fork tender, The presentation was lovely; with all, except the soup and salad, on large sectioned plate. It was a beautiful presentation and delicious. Service was also friendly and quick. Will def. Be back.

First time here and the service was amazing. No wait time at all, we got seated immediately. The restaurant itself was a nice place, good lighting, music, and gave off amazing vibes. We ordered the salmon roll, California roll, and the beauty and the beast. Our food came out in no time. We got nice plates and some soy sauce. Food was so good we got seconds. Overall this is the best place for sushi near the Mashpee area.

Dana W had a very large portion of steak, was that a double order? My steak portion was about half that size.

Nope we all ordered the standard Hibachi meal with the filet and ended up with a plate like that. Enough to take home for left overs.

We recently visited Sakuratani in Bristol for the first time and came away very impressed. This…read morefamily-run restaurant has only been open about a year, but it already feels like an established part of the local dining scene. A nice space. We began with spring rolls (VERY good - chicken and shrimp) and sake, and the sake program deserves special mention. We selected a very enjoyable $38 bottle and noticed several other bottles at lower price points, along with a wide selection of canned sake--many around $11. Some diners may balk at paying that much for a can, but they will happily pay more for a mediocre glass of wine at half the volume. The value here is actually quite good, especially for those looking to explore sake beyond the ordinary. Our entrées--the ramen and chicken katsu--were excellent. The ramen featured a rich, deeply satisfying broth, while the chicken katsu was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender within. If you want a "hotter " ramen - the have an add on for a buck. Service was warm and attentive, reflecting the pride that often comes with a family-owned business. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, allowing the quality of the food to take center stage. Bristol is fortunate to have Sakuratani. Strong Japanese dining options can be hard to find outside larger cities, and for a restaurant only a year old, they seem to be doing many things right. We look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu--and their sake offerings. Highly recommended.

Stopped in here with some friends to try this place out since we were in the area!…read more Food: My friend got dashi tofu as an appetizer (not pictured) and it was quite an experience! Very silky, some crunch, and the dashi sauce was well balanced. We then ordered tonkotsu ramen as our entree, and let me tell you I was not disappointed. After trying numerous ramens, specifically tonkotsu, this rated 2nd under my first favorite place. The creamy, rich broth was balanced, the noodles were bouncy (maybe homemade?), and the toppings were all good! Personally I am not a fan of thick pieces of pork chashu, so just keep that in mind when ordering that meat topping. Otherwise, excellent! Service: it was pretty slow so we got in immediately. Our waiter was very nice and took care of our table promptly. Atmosphere: it's definitely darker in this place, but the atmosphere was cozy and the booths were nice! Overall for me this was a 4.7/5, I would definitely recommend going here and experiencing decent tonkotsu ramen!
