Surprisingly enough this mom and pop place is actually pretty good! Definitely come here! The service was great. Greeted with a friendly smile when walking in and our server was so fun to talk to. We ordered Pork Ramen which was very good. I was worried it would be salty which ramen usually are but this was just right. We had a delicious Poke bowl. Fresh and hearty. After reading these reviews I feel like I went to a different restaurant than most other Yelpers... The standalone restaurant itself is quaint, with the indoor ambiance mediocre at best. There is plenty of seating and we were greeted upon entry. We ordered General Tao Chicken and Hibachi Chicken both w/white rice. While the General Tao was pretty good, the Hibachi Chicken was not. It looked tasty, but came in some sort of sauce that had a bizarre smell and taste that was hard to explain, and 2 random shrimp (that I didn't order and don't believe was included but I did appreciate!). Still, definitely not like any sort of Hibachi I've ever had, and not in a good way. After sending the meal back, I ordered a Calamari which was tasty, and came with a side sweet chili dipping sauce. PROS: - Location is easy to find - Good sized menu - Server was kind - Food taste (of the one item I had) CONS: - Ambiance could use some love - Food taste (of the one item I had) I always have a hard time returning to places in which I had a less-than-decent experience. A pretty standard sushi restaurant. The sushi was good and the atmosphere was nice. Service was on the slow side, but that is also typical of my experience with sushi restaurants and usually assures me that they're making the rolls fresh. Biggest issue was that two of the meals came out at the same time and the third came at least 5 minutes later. We enjoyed our dinners but it's probably not a place we'd go back to. read more

Standard sushi menu with a wide variety of non-sushi options for those who do not eat raw fish. Cost for some items was disproportionate ($9 for one starter of two small-ish egg rolls for example). While waiting for our entrees we were treated to a free roll from the sushi chef. It would have been nice if the server had known what the roll was, but it was still a great surprise. We had sushi and sashimi combo. The sushi rice for nigiri is delicious it taste pretty good w the fishes. Sashimi is the proble. Its cut in variety (to cut cost i guess? Or just in experience susbi chef) its as thin as the sushi ( which sashimi that i am used to are thicker than the nigiri slice. And some are cut lengthwise and creating unpleasant tendon on the fish is there. We found a couple of tuna maki has tendon issues too. Fried rice though pretty good and fast. Just fyi this establishment is Chinese-owned so if you go there just order their chinese food i am sure it would be great. If you not picky with sushi, you can go ahead. This place was close to my accommodations and I walked in and was greeted by a friendly staff. The plates were a good size. I had a combo plate of some sort. Was very hot. They served a hot soup up front. Portions were really good. Clean and organized venue. Service was fast and the staff was awesome. Definitely be back! read more

We stopped into Ninja House right before they were planning on closing for the season. The service is so friendly and helpful! We ordered the Spicy Maki Combo, but asked if the salmon could be not spicy. They said that was fine. The sushi was fresh and delicious. It also came with miso soup. They also have gluten free soy sauce. This is definitely a place we'd return to. I keep seeing the photo in my camera roll and wanting to go back! Yum! read more

Did I miss something about this place? It does have many good reviews, so this is just based on our experience. We ordered the kani salad and duck appetizer, and had chicken and shrimp hibachi dinner. Our first question was why is fried rice $3 extra as hibachi is a grilled dish and by default should be served with fried rice as opposed to the white rice this place offers? There was nothing hibachi about the meal. The veggies were cold and tasted like a steamed bag of mix veggies. The shrimp/chicken was okay but our main complaint was the sauce that it was served with... what in the WORLD was that? It had a horrible aftertaste and I couldn't quite tell of it was sour from being spoiled OR if it resembled that aftertaste from saki, like the alcohol tang and smell from it. The sauce was completely inedible. The duck was good but the kani salad was the weirdest we've seen, served with shredded veggies and breadcrumbs... just not a fan. My daughter liked her udon noodles with plain broth... I can't get over that weird hibachi experience though. Would not return or recommend. read more

I called in to pickup 3 maki rolls and fried rice. I was told 30 minutes. Fine. $62.00 seems pricey but let's try it. I waited at the bar for over an hour for the order to arrive , all the while the kitchen staff and wait staff are coughing and sniffling on the food and everything around them. DayQuil literally sat on the cash register. Not sanitary. When I asked what the holdup was... They said it was really busy, I look around and there are literally five people in the whole restaurant. Insulting. If I wasn't so god damn hungry id throw this food out in their trash can right in front of them. Maybe I caught them on a bad night... but damn. Won't be going there again. My wife and I were visiting Cape Cod and got the spicy maki to go. It was absolutely delicious and fresh fish! They offer Gluten Free Soy Sauce, their Miso soup had great flavor as well. Please note: we went on 12/31/2023, they had a sign on their door they would be closed 1/1/2024 through 4/1/2024. I was talking with the owner and though they are only a 4mo old business, they are closing for slow season to allow for the city to process their liquor license. Walked in here on a whim with a date and was seated immediately. Ordered hot sake and tea. My date ordered the Hyannis roll and miso soup while I ordered the Pork Miso Ramen. I actually was experiencing nausea before we got to the restaurant and after drinking the tea and sipping the broth of the ramen I felt 1000% better. It really settled my stomach, so I think that's a plus for me in this restaurant. Service was wonderful and polite. We will definitely be back to try more menu items! read more

Had some poke bowls which were delicious. Spicy salmon definitely had some heat. Restaurant was half full on a Monday in summer so was quiet. My family and I just had our second dinner at the Ninja House today. Our waitress, Vicky couldn't have been nicer and more pleasant. The ambiance was very bright and cheerful. Every appetizer and main course was fresh and delicious. The steamed pork Gyoza and Avocado Cucumber Sushi was a great lead-in to our main courses. The Veggie Fried Rice, and Shrimp Yaki Udon was scrumptious! Before we got our bill, our granddaughter convinced us to order the Tempura Cheesecake. Glad she twisted our arms because it was one of the best desserts that I can remember having. Along with the taste, the presentation was very appealing. The food was yummy. There were some oddities, mainly being the restaurant name on the drink menus being wrong (for a different restaurant entirely), and the service was a little helicopter-esque. There wasn't a chance to sit and relax with our food, it almost felt like we were being rushed; strange, because the place wasn't very busy. YOWZA. This new restaurant blows away all the other Asian restaurants on Cape. The menu lists dozens of kinds of sushi, but if you're not a sushi lover there are many other options. My husband had the veggie hibachi lunch -- very fresh veggies with a nice smoky taste. I had the beef teriyaki Bento box lunch, which came with salad (delicious ginger dressing), dumplings, rice, and a California roll. The thinly sliced beef was perfectly cooked and tender. Service was polite and attentive. Prices are a bit high but totally worth it. We look forward to trying many more items on the menu. read more
