If you know me, you know ! This is an amazing Japanese cuisine location on Cape Cod. The taste and presentation are phenomenal. It's definitely worth visiting; I'll be coming back plenty of times for the chef's food.

Surprisingly enough this mom and pop place is actually pretty good! Definitely come here! The…read moreservice was great. Greeted with a friendly smile when walking in and our server was so fun to talk to. We ordered Pork Ramen which was very good. I was worried it would be salty which ramen usually are but this was just right. We had a delicious Poke bowl. Fresh and hearty. To finish it off we had the Unagi. I really liked this little place. It is a local spot and we're glad we came by as we're visiting the area.

After reading these reviews I feel like I went to a different restaurant than most other Yelpers…read more.. The standalone restaurant itself is quaint, with the indoor ambiance mediocre at best. There is plenty of seating and we were greeted upon entry. We ordered General Tao Chicken and Hibachi Chicken both w/white rice. While the General Tao was pretty good, the Hibachi Chicken was not. It looked tasty, but came in some sort of sauce that had a bizarre smell and taste that was hard to explain, and 2 random shrimp (that I didn't order and don't believe was included but I did appreciate!). Still, definitely not like any sort of Hibachi I've ever had, and not in a good way. After sending the meal back, I ordered a Calamari which was tasty, and came with a side sweet chili dipping sauce. PROS: - Location is easy to find - Good sized menu - Server was kind - Food taste (of the one item I had) CONS: - Ambiance could use some love - Food taste (of the one item I had) I always have a hard time returning to places in which I had a less-than-decent experience. So while I encourage everyone to try most places for themselves, I can say that for me this one was a one-and-done.

We chose Fin for a birthday dinner, and it absolutely did not disappoint! The evening started with…read moreoutstanding cocktails--the Perfect Pear Martini was ice-cold, refreshing, and delicious, while the Manhattan was expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. For an appetizer, we shared the sweet potato tempura stuffed with scallop and crab. It was light, flavorful, and beautifully prepared--an excellent start to the meal. For our entrées, the swordfish was wonderfully fresh and packed with flavor. While the accompanying potatoes were a bit dry and under-seasoned, the fish itself was outstanding. The seared tuna was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful crust and tender center, and the noodles complemented it perfectly. Fin has the charm of a historic home, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bar is cozy and welcoming, though on the smaller side, so arriving early is a good idea. We were seated upstairs at a corner table, which provided plenty of privacy and made for a wonderfully romantic dining experience in a quaint and intimate setting. Our waitress seemed a little reserved at first but quickly warmed up and became attentive and engaging throughout the evening. Dinner for two, including tip, came in just under $200, putting it on the higher end of the price range, but the quality of the food, cocktails, and atmosphere made it well worth it. We will be back to try the oyster stew.

Started with the sweet potato tempura stuffed with scallops and swordfish with spicy mayo and eel sauce. It was very tasty! She had the striped bass with jasmine rice, edamame, seaweed salad and mushrooms sautéed in butter which was wonderful. I had the whole black bass special, deep fried whole fish with gumbo to spoon over the top after deboning the fish. Served with coconut rice and tomato/cucumber salad. See photo. Really delicious. A couple of glasses of French (Burgundy) Chardonnay and we were very happy. Service was spot on.
