A very disorganized Wawa and rude AM cashier the store would probably benefit by engineering more efficient fueling/store flow.

Rude customers; got hit by a car here. Also when I'd buy a turkey sausage biscuit here people would poison it.

We usually stop by this specific Wawa to fill up on gas as well as to pick up some snacks for the road. The gas prices here are usually, if not, the cheapest in the area! The station is always packed and always busy, and if you step into the food mart, they have a variety of snacks, hot food, made-to-order sandwiches, coffee, and beverages. I got the worst food from there. They're been slipping, but I didn't realize they fell down completely with their food. I got "soup" but it was a thick mess with the consistency of mashed potatoes. read more

Just a quick stop because Wawas are usually my preference. Located near a highway exit, so it can get pretty busy but it is easily accessible. Will say the gas pumps are very tight and hard to get into without being in somebody's way. read more

Typical Wawa - gas, snacks, their signature Sizzlis, hot food, cold food, coffee, etc. Not the cleanest one ever, but definitely average in all aspects. If in the area and need to fill up, we would definitely return. I felt safe at this wawa. Not so sketch at all. read more

I love Wawa. Whenever I travel to Fredericksburg or sometime when I travel to Norfolk I stop here. It's not right off the highway but during off hours they are one of the few places that are open. This place has a great selection of everything-snacks, food, and most importantly, caffeine. Their gas is always priced competitively but the place is really clean and honstyly, he staff is the friendliest. I stopped on the way to Norfolk. It was 4:30am. I was exhausted. I ended up taking a nap in my car in front of the store and then grabbing a double shot of espresso. I'm not coffee connoisseur but I am a caffeine connoisseur and I can assure you this got me there safely. When I'm on a road trip, I always check for a Wawa before I go anywhere else. Oh WAWA, you're always there for me. Whether I need a quickie grab and go or a long leisurely visit to work out kinks. I've been to every WAWA between DC and Petersberg along I-95 and this one is simply the best. Located immediately off the highway, I can fuel up, order a sub, use the always clean restroom, grab my 20oz English Toffee insanely hot coffee and get back on the road in under 15 minutes. Bing, bang, boom - hardly a blip of delay on my road trip. But its also been my refuge to stretch the legs after hours driving back from NC particularly when there's post holiday traffic and the pace on 95N makes a snail look like a track star. Many a time I've gotten a read on how many more miles of creeping along are ahead from some firefighter or state trooper stopping for a cup of coffee. What makes this the best of the I-95 WAWAs for me though are the folks that make the sandwiches. It would seem that making an Italian sub would not be the most difficult thing in the world - but you'd be surprised. I actually ended up trying Italian subs at all the other I-95 WAWAs because for a time I couldn't remember the exit for this one. The sandwich crew takes care in building the sandwich particularly with things like the peppers that might add too much liquid to the sandwich if not drained when they are removed from the container. Hardly a trip to or from NC finds me without a shorti or junior sub from here. Folks who work here are really nice and friendly. I also like that the let me get a big cup of ice for free which I then let melt as I drive along and have cold water when its time to have my sandwich. read more

Easily accessible from Interstate 95 and have never had an issue here. The gas prices here are also typically on the lower side and if not, its only off by like 3 cents a gallon compared to the lowest in the area. Very convenient location. The only issue I've had is that the gas area and parking is SUPER tight here so you have to be careful. read more

The only reason I'm giveing this a three star and not a four because one of the girl that was working by the hot foods station was being rude and didn't put my order in right...she looked at me funny and she forgot to put wipe cream in my pumkincheesecake smoothie... A pumpkin cheesecake smoothie from wawa is going to be the best smoothie you will ever have in your life. Ever. Yessss to new inspired October flavors...yums! This place is like a convenience stores usually built with gas stations....You can get things you would normally find at like a 7/11...don't get their hoagies (subs) / sandwiches which are prepared fresh but the ingredients are not fresh... It has been years since I had a hoagie. It was better than I remembered. I'm not sure what they do that makes it so great. The bread is soft, you get to order it "just the way you want it" and don't have to feel funny with odd requests, as you just punch your order in to an electronic pad at the deli. Still, it seems funny to fill up for gas and get lunch at the same place, however, it's good for "one stop shopping" while road tripping along I-95. read more

I love Wawa when traveling. We usually gas up at Wawa's. I like the gas prices. I like the food choices inside. You can order a bagel, sandwich or soup. The bottled sodas are pricey. We prefer the soda fountain. We keep the Wawa coffee cup on the car for refills. read more

Ok so I don't know that it's possible to LOVE a gas station....but if so then I'm seeing hearts all around. I've been here a few times and it's always clean, friendly and has some of the better gas prices around. Tonight was the night though that made this gas station a hidden gem to me. In a last minute decision to get ice cream before going to a friends house I stopped at two other local stores with no success (how a place sells beer and no ice cream baffles me). I ran into wawa hoping they'd have something. I figured they wouldn't have anything low fat or much variety but at that point I was desperate. What do you know they have to freezers full of frozen yumminess! Three different brands with TONs of variety. Everything from regular, no sugar added, fro-yo and sorbet. All pint sizes and comparable prices to the grocery store. Seriously....long gone are the limited and unhealthy options typically found in gas stations!!! I highly recommend coming here! We love Wawa! Since we don't have any in SC, it's our first stop when we travel. This is the first Wawa that will be added to our "do not return" list. First, the cashier only gives a receipt if you specifically ask for one. He looks surprised if you want one too! Next, my mac and cheese really was good, I can give them that much. My bagel with the tomatoes and cucumbers was SLOPPY. There was only a little cream cheese, and it was only in the middle. I literally could not even spread it around to make it touch half the bagel. My husband's hoagie was supposed to have oil and a little mayo. It had no oil and a ton of mayo. We are both shocked and disappointed at our experience here. We have been to many Wawas, so we know what to expect normally. Please prepare food for your customers the way you would want it prepared for yourself. read more

I am an easy going person. This wawa made me reinstall yelp just to tell people about it. Midway through my 8+ hour drive from The Outer Banks I stopped for a sandwich. I had only asked for one of the twenty dollar bill I had to be split into fives. They had used it as a payment for my stuff honest mistake and the girl at the register was nice but the manager was so rude. The girl had told me she could split the twenty I had into fives. Simply put, the best convenience store I've ever been to. The staff is well trained and friendly. The prepped food is delicious. The facilities are clean. The tire air is free - as are the ATMs! I come here almost daily. Everyone is nice and the Bath Rooms are clean. The only bad thing is every time I come in, you have to wait in line for a long time. There is usually only one casher and a line of 8 or so people. For a store that is always busy I would think they would have 3 or 4 cashers. read more
