One of the cashiers was very nice, but the dingus at the window snapped at me for "reaching across the counter." Yeah, dude... Needed gas, a clean restroom and some snacks before heading back out on my trip and decided Sheetz was the place and like always it didn't disappoint!! Gas was super cheap, and the restroom was clean enough! Just wanted a snack, some fries and a milkshake for the last hour of my drive. Sheetz is kind of like Wawa back home...except the food and coffee aren't as good...HAHAHA. In all seriousness, this Sheetz is so convenient whenever I stay here in Fredericksburg and the gas is 4always some of the cheapest in the area. My husband and I are traveling through to see our son and his family for Christmas and we stopped for gas at Sheetz. I went in to use the rest room and was pleasantly surprised and cleanliness. Road Trip! When heading to the Wegmans in Fredericksburg, VA, this is the best place for me to gas up. The price was the most competitive I had seen for my entire trip up north and back. The gas pumps work, they spit out receipts (unlike other Sheetz along the way where the clerk seemed put off by the request for a receipt when the receipt dispenser at the pump wasn't working). read more

Always a great place to get a variety of made to order food and speciality beverages. In addition to gas and convenience store items, they have a great food menu. The service can be slow sometimes when they get busy but the food is always delicious and the employees are always friendly. It's always a treat getting something from Sheetz! read more

After 5 hours on 95... (to go 31 miles) I needed a snack and a lot of caffeine. Sheetz has a coffee bar similar to Starbucks, it's certainly not the same coffee... but it's nice to get a latte or similar there. The staff was super friendly; they made it a point to tell me both hello and goodbye. I like Sheetz gas stations. They are a welcome sight when traveling. The gas is usually cheaper than at stations nearby. They have a convenience store that has a coffee bar, fountain drinks, and a large selection of canned or bottled drinks and snacks. Their restrooms are usually clean. They have a fast food section where they prepare food, but I haven't used that. They usually have a lot of pumps to serve customers' gas needs. The Fredericksburg location is typical. read more

This Sheetz is ok... a bit difficult to get in and out of the way the roads and parking lot is situated. I'm surprised they put a smaller Sheetz at the end of Central Park instead of one of the larger scale ones. Typical convenience store fare here, clean bathrooms which are always a plus. read more

Second time this happened. I waited approximately 20 mins when I was like only order on the board. Employees playing around in the back. My food was cold and not even made correctly. Employees need to stop taking the easy way out and only reading half of the order. Very bad. Most likely not coming back to this location. read more

I live nearby this sheetz so I go there often. The staff is alwaus very friendly. The store is kept up very well. Oh, and the food is well made and delicious. My only complaint is that there is no eat-in section, but I can't hold that against them. This location has been here for quite a few years, and was made before the local commercial area started to bloom. read more

I shouldn't give a star in this store but because their cigarettes is cheaper than NY. I get into the long line to pay for gas. Paid $20 cash. I only used $15. The cashier told me to come back for refund but I have to get back in their long line again to get a refund. The manager is not a great help. Everyone is complaining for long line. It's not very efficient the way they manage the store. What a waste of time! I'm definitely not coming back into this gas station EVER! I could use my credit card if I knew but I don't want to use my card because I'm out of state. read more

I came in today and asked for $65.00 worth of gas and gave the casher a $100.00 dollar bill and she said I cannot bake this. My question is how are you not able to brake a $100.00 dollar bill, just for this I will not be going back WAWA has never had any trouble braking a $100.00 Dollars. I live nearby and was a customer at the Sheetz located at 2001 CARL D SILVER PKWY FREDERICKSBURG, VA 22401 (Store #346) at 2:15 p.m. on 4 October 2016. As usual, there was a log line as soon as you entered the door (the configuration of this line is a mess. The line is often up the aisles so no one can get at anything, and in front of the door, which hinders entrance0. This is usually caused by the lack of cashiers at this location. Frequently, there may be 7 - 10 people in line, with only one register open. Basically, you have narrow aisles chock full of stuff, that no one can get to when there is a line. This congestion has been the root of many a customer confrontation, based in frustration. I have witnessed customers just turn around and go away when they see a line at this particular Sheetz. Often, they will have 3-5 people making drinks or food, while a single register is bogged down with customers. In addition, they will have people making coffee, while the line spirals down the aisles (the continue stocking shelves or making coffee as if oblivious to the customer's needs). Today, the line held 12 people, and to my amazement, both cash registers were open. I only needed one item, so opted to take a chance on the wait. I had just come from the car wash, and had a pocket full of quarters from the car wash. I had to wait, but it wasn't awful. Once I was at the register, I paid for my one item in quarters, and asked the Sheetz Sales associate if I could exchange fur quarters for a dollar to play the lottery machine. Her reply left me a bit dumbfounded. This Sheetz employee said to me "You're going to have to wait, I have to get this line down". Here I stood, with four quarters on the counter, and she with the register standing open, and she (looking very stressed) was telling me I had to get back in line, or wait even more, just to do a 10 second money exchange. I insisted by saying "the register is already open, how long does it take to hand me a dollar? I was about to ask for a manager when she responded "Ok, so I will give you a dollar". I stood there thinking "DUH!!!" I was appalled and started to ask for a manager anyway, to complain, but decided not to inconvenience the other customers. My reasoning, if making change was such a big deal, getting a manager might cause chaos. I didn't get the employees name, but she was a short African American young lady, about 5 ft. 2 inches. .I have a few Customer Service questions and complaints about this employee, and this Sheetz in particular. When you're busy, is there a limit on the number of transaction a customer may generate? I thought that true Customer Service meant that you are finished when I am satisfied that all my desires have been addressed. Sheetz and this employee seems to believe otherwise. If you are busy, is your goal just to get me out the door, or to satisfy my needs? My view, and I am sure it's the view of other customers, is that if you're too busy to wait on me until completion, you're too busy to earn my business. This is just another example of the dismal customer service provided by Sheetz in general, and this location in particular. Spend your money elsewhere read more

This was the worst sheetz I have ever been to!!! Stood in line for 10 mins to check out. Then waited another 29 mins for a taco salad, fries and chicken tenders. Got my taco salad and it was half full and nasty as hell!!!!! Never coming back here again!!!!! read more
