Again Walgreens, they didn't have a plethora of Father's Day cards, but I did get one for my husband, but none for "son-in-law," so I had to resort to a generic one. There was a sign as clear as day that read $4.00 off 2 Father's Day cards with a QR code and "scan here," which I didn't do. (I went back after checking out). I went to check out. An associate with no personality came to the counter. I smiled and said hello. I received barely a hello back. I asked her about the $4.00 off. She stated plainly, "you had to do that yourself. We don't do that here. Hindsight...I should have asked her if I could go and do that now, but I didn't, but with no one behind me, I think she could have said that to me. This person was old enough to have a smidge of customer service. Angry at myself, but more disappointed with the service.

When I say I'll wait to pick it up, they will actually CALL my name over the store speaker. They give accurate times of how long it will take them to fill it. Recently when they saw me sitting in the waiting area, they immediately began working on my prescription (I guess because they knew I wasn't interesting in browsing or needed any other products?) It was so quick. Also, this CVS is open 24 hours. When I was little and had experiences in the hospital and needed to get a prescription upon release-- this CVS was always available to us. They have never been without a prescription I have needed to be filled. Also, I've never seen anyone upset or yelling at the pharmacist here, which definitely happens all the at a "horrible" CVS. Maybe the closer a CVS is to a hospital, the more reliable it is. But this is definitely one of the good ones.

Been driving for over 12 hours (with a short nap) and had to get a coffee to carry me through the last leg of the journey. I was exhausted and got 2 extra shots. She laughed and engaged while I was dancing before the order machine. The music was great. She made my coffee and assured me if it was off that she would make it again. I've been here a few times and it's always clean, friendly and has some of the better gas prices around. Tonight was the night though that made this gas station a hidden gem to me. In a last minute decision to get ice cream before going to a friends house I stopped at two other local stores with no success (how a place sells beer and no ice cream baffles me). I ran into wawa hoping they'd have something. I figured they wouldn't have anything low fat or much variety but at that point I was desperate. What do you know they have to freezers full of frozen yumminess! Three different brands with TONs of variety. Everything from regular, no sugar added, fro-yo and sorbet. All pint sizes and comparable prices to the grocery store. Seriously....long gone are the limited and unhealthy options typically found in gas stations!!! I highly recommend coming here! They always have what you need and break out of the gas station = gross and unhealthy :) thanks wawa!!
