One day they disappeared and stopped answering calls or messages. Unreliable guy I would stay clear.

We purchased a home with our first pool and was told by the Home Inspector that the pool equipment…read morewas old and will need to be replaced soon. After a few months, our single speed pump broke at the same time as the Heater. We used our Home Warranty to have it fixed. The company that the Warranty company used was awful. After a few weeks of broken equipment and no pool circulation we decided to just replace all the equipment as recommended. We called Leslies Pool Supply to get a quote. In-store, they gave us a quote for equipment and install and then scheduled a consult to verify the equipment that was needed. When someone called to confirm the appointment, they notified us of a charge just come out to look at our equipment. This was not explained to us in the store which was frustrating enough to look elsewhere. I found "Keep It Clean Pool Services" on a Yelp search. I called 5 different companies and Keep It Clean Pool Services was the only one who answered. I got a call back from 3/5 companies several days later. Keep It Clean Pool Services came out SAME DAY to take a look at our system and recommend upgrades. Within a week, we were up and running with all new equipment, and we even had them add Automation and LED colored lights to our Pool/Spa. Jim & Greg (Brothers) were fast, efficient, friendly, and reliable. Also, their prices were 25% less than leslies pool and they were 100% worth every penny. My husband just started the Hot Tub from his phone as he is leaving work!

Please read my full and thorough review down below. This part is only me responding to him calling…read moreus liars. Obviously he is unable to prove we're lying. Never in the texts did he say our pool was beyond repair. Not once. The only thing cheap about this situation is Justin's shoddy work. Upon further investigation we found out he DEFINITELY is NOT LICENSED in the state of California to do repairs over $500. He is a glorified pool boy at best. That's why his rates are so cheap. It's literally illegal for him to charge more without having the proper qualifications. That is why he will fix things in different stages, so he can stay under the $500 threshold. Pay attention, he will charge just under $500 then find something new to fix which will cost just under $500... lather, rinse, and repeat. I would save your money and go with somebody who is REPUTABLE and LICENSED as Justin is neither. You will not be protected should a problem arise. His father is licensed as I was able to locate his license. I'm guessing he illegally works under his father's license which can get them both in trouble. If you go to www2.cslb.ca.gov to look for either "AquaPro" or "Justin Fowler" you will find neither. A simple internet search will prove he's unlicensed. I've provided two screen shots of the lists which are arranged in alphabetical order. Where "Justin Fowler" should be on the list is painfully obvious that he's missing. The fact that his name is not there means he has NEVER been legally qualified in California to do any major services as they even show expired licenses. Also available is a list of all businesses with "aquapro" in the name, both previous and present, and it's not there. Aquapro has never been a legitimate business, not even for a single day in California. Just look under the photos for this "business" and you will see the screen shots there. But my review was "all lies" right, Justin? Where is the lie? Everything I'm claiming is literally substantiated by screenshots of the conversations including the time stamps! All of the questions he has in his reply has been answered in my review and the doubt he is trying to cast has been invalidated by my screenshots. Clearly his reading comprehension leaves much to be desired. We contemplated not even exposing him on this level but he sure made it an easy decision by trying to put our integrity in question. Our house isn't even on the market, it never has been since we bought it. I'm not sure why he's saying we're unable to sell it. It's literally not for sale. The purchase of our new home was not contingent on the sale of our old house. He's trying to paint the picture that we're destitute white trash and that's just not true. All he's proving is that we own more than one home. If you, for some ungodly reason, decide to work with him, don't pay him until after the repairs are done. The last time we paid him the $400 he took the money without completing the job. When we paid him after the repairs were done there was never an issue. Do not trust him. You can see in the texts my boyfriend was incredibly patient with him until the end. I would take his replies to me with a grain of salt as he is unable to prove anything I'm saying is false. His attempt at slandering our character is pathetic but I'd be desperate to grasp for straws at this point, too, if I were him. Let's be thankful I'm not.

He quoted me a price over the phone, thinking I wanted a one time service, very fair price at that. When he showed up that very same day to help me out, I informed him that we wanted a maintenance plan and he said he didn't need any money that day but would set us up on a payment plan. I insisted that he take the money for the first month because he was really helping me out of a jam. My pool was turning green, not cool for the guests. My pool is now up and running beautifully. I am so impressed with his service and demeanor. I highly recommend AquaPro services!

Our pool pump was fitted with a rebuilt motor shortly after purchase eleven years ago. In the last…read morefew months the motor began making more and more noise; it was clear that the motor would need replacement soon. Our electric bill was increasing each month as well. A search of the Internet made the case for a variable speed/variable flow pool pump, so we went to Yelp.com to find a highly recommended pool professional. After we got three proposals from high rated Yelp pool pros, I called one more - Freestyle Pools - and was introduced to Nick. Nick completely explained our options and provided us with a written proposal within minutes. We liked his prices and called him to see when he could install. He said he had the pump in stock and could install it that afternoon and haul away the old equipment. A lot of firms send a tech; I especially liked it that Nick would do the work himself. As promised, Nick arrived on time and surveyed the pool equipment. I suspected that there might be a need to upgrade more than the pump. The cramped way our pool equipment had been arranged left no room to install the new pump securely (see the BEFORE PICTURES with pool piping on a cinder block and the motor hanging off the slab). Nick would need to relocate the pool filter to the rear of the slab for the pump to line up on the concrete, and after some discussion I asked about a new one. Nick said if I bought a pump, filter and chlorine generator, Pentair would extend their warranty for all three pieces for (3) years. It made sense. Nick arrived at our home at 2:15PM, and - not counting a quick trip for parts - worked continuously until 7:30PM. If you look at the AFTER pictures, you'll see that Nick truly is an artist! He managed to line up the new pump on the concrete, facilitated by a new filter taking up less space to the rear, and the new configuration works like a champ, doesn't leak a drop, and is very quiet. I like watching someone work who know what he is doing, and Nick certainly knows pool equipment and operations! We were so impressed by Freestyle Pools that we even decided to try Freestyle as our weekly pool maintenance choice, leaving a pool service we have been using for a number of years! We are not folks given to whimsical changes, but our change was demanded by Nick's outstanding efforts to go "above and beyond" to satisfy our pool needs. We certainly are proud to recommend Freestyle!!

After a routine service visit to my vinyl pool, the pool began losing water rapidly and dropped to less than halfway full within days. A Vinyl Pool Repair company later identified a large puncture in the liner and advised the damage appeared consistent with blunt force. It is in the very bottom corner of the pool on the 8ft side, somewhere a 5 year old child couldn't reach. I checked camera footage to see their technician using his tool in an up and down motion as if he's spearfishing in my pool. Days later - the water dropped less than halfway. Other red flags - they removed my existing vacuum and replaced with a different one without my knowledge or permission. This specific vacuum was not recommended for vinyl from the vinyl EXPERTS that I consulted with. Furthermore, they also charged me on a random day for some type of "annual fee" without disclosing that upfront. Lastly, the last service visit we had (on a rainy day - no clue why the guy still showed up), the employee went behind the camera area and stood under my sundeck on his phone. Is that what you're getting paid for? Service visits under 10 minutes while you stand around. There were multiple red flags I ignored and excused but the damage to the pool was the last straw. Despite the timing of the incident, the severity of the water loss, camera footage, and the findings from ABCO, Golden State declined to take responsibility for the damage or assist with replacement costs. As expected: they responded to dodge accountability by saying the vinyl was in brittle condition - this still doesn't change the fact that you punctured my pool. See you in court.
