Today Waterway Plumbing sent out Edgar to reinstall my new water heater. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about his job. He explained things along the way. Did you know that natural gas needs a sediment trap before the gas goes into the water heater? Neither did I. He had the entire water heater back on it reconstructed pedestal, all lines hooked up in a just under two hours. Even made a recommendation about replacing the draining bib to a more reliable ball value. All the folks at Waterway Plumbing have been fantastic. Would I use them again, yes in a heartbeat. My experience with Waterway Plumbing was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. The initial appointment was a disaster from the start. My service window was changed three times: first 9 AM - 1 PM, then 11 AM - 4 PM, and finally 4 PM - 7 PM. Despite all the changes, they still missed the final window. I wasn't notified that the technician was on his way until after 7 PM, and he didn't arrive until approximately 7:45 PM. The visit was supposed to address two hazard-tagged issues requiring repair. When the technician arrived, he said he didn't want to inspect the attic line because it would be "a lot of work" and instead asked for pictures the company already had. He spent less than seven minutes at my home before leaving. For issues serious enough to be hazard-tagged, the inspection felt rushed, incomplete, and unsettling. I left with little confidence the problems had been properly evaluated. Parts were ordered, and a follow-up appointment was scheduled for the following Wednesday with an 8 AM - 12 PM arrival window. I called at 8:30 AM that morning to confirm the appointment and requested notification when the technician was on the way. Despite that, the appointment was completely missed with no communication at all. I had to reschedule for the following morning. When the technician finally arrived, I was informed they were only approved to repair one of the two hazard-tagged issues. No one communicated this beforehand, resulting in even more wasted time and frustration. The biggest issue wasn't just the missed appointments. It was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and respect for my time. Multiple schedule changes, a rushed and inadequate inspection, a missed appointment with no notice, and discovering at the last minute that only half the work was approved is simply unacceptable. If you value reliability, professionalism, thorough inspections, and clear communication, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I cannot recommend Waterway Plumbing. read more

Our home warranty sent Waterway to fix our low pressure on the hot side of our shower faucet. The plumber immediately said it was the value and would need to cut a hole in the wall to replace it, which would cost us an additional $450. My husband had already googled what the problem could be. A cartridge behind the knob would need to be replaced. The plumber did not even offer this simple fix. We got a second opinion and they said it just needed the cartridge replaced. An easy job and an inexpensive part that would NOT require cutting a hole in the wall. This plumbing company obviously wanted to make more money through the warranty company. read more

This is the worst company to do business with. I have a block in my toilets to my septic tank . They came out and tried to unblock it and they couldn't. I told them I didn't have a pipe to the septic tank on my roof. They went up there anyway and I heard the auger and the guy was running the auger into my hot water heater. They left here with my toilet in my bathroom unsealed. I poured some more drain stuff down my drain and I poured sulphuric acid in the front toilet and it ran all over my bathroom floor my floors are gonna be ruined. I cant take a shower because the water runs across my bathroom floor. these people left me in a mess and now i have to worry about water damage to my floors. read more

Had Luis here in Sierra Vista today to replace my water heater. All I can say is he not only did an amazing job on the replacement but he was such a huge help. He was very personable and kind. I have a water/sewer pipe insurance. When a shower didn't drain, I called them. The person came out, informed me that the house didn't have a clean-out valve, was not in code, but could be installed for $$$. Otherwise, nothing could be done. Not impressed. Waterway Plumbing was referred to me; was able to come out within 24 hours. Daniel showed me where the clean-out valve was (that the other "professional" said didn't exist) about 18" from the front door. please do not use this plumbing company, they have zero transparency. I have choice home warranty and my water heater went out. The owner I am assuming named Ivan came out. he didn't do anything besides see what leaking from water heater and immediately said it had to be replaced. they then sent invoice with charges of 940 dollars stating that lines needed to be replaced because of modifications. Our house was built in 2012 and all lines coming in hot water and cold and flex lines are like new. After asking why all the up charge and modifications he just kept saying it's for liability issues. so after going back and forth with them and warranty company I decide to go ahead with replacement. If I could give this company negative stars I would. My warranty company has twice sent these guys out to my house twice they have underperformed or not performed at all. The firs time it was due to a leak in my bathroom. They recommended a mitigation company and promised to come out to fix the leak once mitigation was complete, a mitigation company that never responded. I had to call my own mitigation and get my own guy to fix the leak in my bathroom. This company never responded to me again. This time I called my warranty company and they recommended these guys again to come out to fix my water heater. My water heater is not turning on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked the company to have their guy text me when they arrive because i'm upstairs working and the doorbell does not work. By the time i got done working i noticed one phone call with no voicemail. Summer 2024 I had a major plumbing leak under concrete in my home located in Mesa, AZ. Ivan (the owner) and his crew worked out a way to reroute the piping in such a way so we didn't have to jackhammer the concrete. They also redid all the plumbing in my home to avoid future leaks as the pipes were rather old, plus installing a water softener. Flash forward to September 2025, I am seeing water on my garage floor and am freaking out. Waterway sent a very inexperienced plumber to us. We were having a problem with water pressure being very low. He came and took a video of our shower, and said he had no idea what the problem was but he would talk to his boss and get back to us. We have a home warranty and our co-pay was 90.00. The man refused to give me service because I asked him to come through the back way. He asked me why, and I told him that I didn't want people coming through my which is a carpeted area. He did not need access to this area in order to do the job. Refused to come through the back door.He told me he would refer me to another company. He declined to give service due to my request for him to come through the back entrance/because he could not go where he wanted to go in my space. It seems that he wanted to establish control over my property, as I find many service people have done since living in a condo. When I established my boundary, he was unwilling to perform service. It is through the insurance company American home shield and I have had nothing but horrible providers from them. Over the last three years, American home shield has provided me nothing but poor service referrals. If you're okay with them being in charge of your space, disrespectful of your personal property than give them a try. read more
