You owe it to yourself to allow Drain Medics to investigate your problem and offer a solution. From our first meeting, Austin Sanchez inspired my confidence that he understood what was wrong and how to correct it. All of his employees will impress you with their hard work, and how they make all of their decisions based on what is the right thing to do. You can even see it in how they take care of their equipment. Their pricing is competitive, and they completed a difficult job in the time they had estimated. I will not call anyone but Drain Medics if I have any drain or sewer problems in the future. Neil Hammond.

Meanwhile our drains had always been sort of slow I called Drain Medics to just look down the vent pipe to see if it had really been properly cleared. They have a visual tube to stick down pipes and see what's going on. I thought the vent pipe may not have been fully unclogged. But when Austin arrived he immediately spotted something on the front yard that changed everything. A wet patch right under our window was in fact leaking sewage. With poopoo and all! When he put the visual tube in that big drain pipe we saw the entire inside of a very corroded old cast iron pipe going all the way out some 30 feet. Austin said this rough corrosion would catch T-paper and plug it up. Then in a day or two they'd melt, but then in a few days it'd do the same thing again. Austin told us most plumbers would replace the drain pipe. That would dig up our lovely natural lawn, take several days, and would be pricey. He could do a coring out of the inner corrosion of our pipe and then coat that with a strong epoxy resin which would fix the problem. It's guaranteed for 25 years at about 3/4 the pipe-replacement price, would also save our front yard from destruction, and take only a day. We accepted. Upon further research, I found they were indeed representing the situation correctly and their prices were very reasonable. And moreover they among the few plumbers uniquely qualified to do such repair and at such a price, as this was their specialty. They showed up and did the work brilliantly. I've watched people work and have some experience in the field, and they were top notch. Everything went without a hitch. Again, I cannot praise their professionalism, friendliness, and efficacy enough. Well, a few days have passed. The drains drain faster. The toilets flush better. A job I feel really good about. I consider it among the best investments in our little old casita that we've made.

Joe, Tanya and John are truly the best and take real pride in their operations. I live in a 1953 home. I had just spent $20k with Rooter Ranger to repipe under the home, yard and reconnect to the sewer (11/2025). My bathroom sink still wouldn't drain. I called RR back out. RR snaked it and "jetted" it and still couldn't clear it, drained but slow. I called them back and turns out this national company went out of business. Crushed doesn't begin to describe it. I spent a small fortune, for me at least, on this and they were out of business. We were using a bowl in the sink and the smell was unpleasant. I began looking online and found My Plumber. They had excellent reviews. I called and they were available immediately to help. John came on time, he was kind and professional. I told him that it was previously snaked with no luck. I told him I didn't want to have to pay for it again because it didn't work. He assured me that he needed to check and if that was the case, it would be credited to new work. Wouldn't you know, John CLEARED IT! It was an old black cap that had perfectly gotten stuck in the pipe. I was so grateful and emotional because I assumed this was going to be another costly bill. He did tell me that the hookup to the pipe was corroding, under the sink. I should replace it before it gave out and caused a larger problem. I said yes, good idea. He did warn me that if they couldn't remove it-because of the age and corrosion-we may need to go behind the wall. I understood. Today owners Joe and Tanya came to take camera footage and replace the corroded hookup under the bathroom sink. Joe was able to get it off and replaced without issue. Another win for my wallet. Tanya showed me the video of the gunk and build up in the pipe and suggested to hydrojet it. I did ask how long the buildup looked like it had been there since I was told by RR they had jetted it. This was years and years of build up, RR did not jet it-should have known. It was black and stinky. After they jetted it, the water quickly swirled right down the drain. I was shocked and so happy. I did ask if repiping was something I needed to worry or prepare for. Joe and Tanya said no, not at this time. There was very little cast iron that came out, I should be good for a long while. Pipes were in better shape than we thought. They packed up, cleaned up and let me know if I had any concerns or if it for some reason the drain got clogged, to reach out and they would take care of it. Sigh of relief. These are highly trained and educated plumbers, with a family business that will be around for a long time. They truly care about their work and customers. I would recommend My Plumber to my family, friends and complete strangers. Thank you again to Joe, Tanya and John! Your thoroughness, knowledge and integrity saved me money and gave me peace of mind.

I went through home warranty, so I was a little skeptical at first since I have had bad experiences in the past. Jacob showed up and started handling business quickly. Very professional, courteous, mindful, and very cautious while working. Some of my repairs were pretty straight forward, but the seized valve required a lot of work. I was very appreciative of how Jacob minimized the amount of wall that needed to be cut and placed back so that I can take care of the work for patching. Jacob was also very knowledgeable and kept me very well informed as the work did take some planning overtime. I had a great experience considering the work that needed to be completed. I would highly recommend My Plumber to anyone based on my experience.

Very disappointed with the lack of pricing transparency…read more I recently received a proposal from Rite Way for an HVAC installation and had several questions regarding how the quoted price was determined. My concern was not about the quality of their equipment or whether professional installation has value. My concern was whether the price being presented was reasonable and consistent with fair market value for the actual scope of work. I specifically requested greater transparency regarding the labor, materials, quantities, equipment, and overhead and profit included in the proposal. Instead of providing meaningful supporting details, I was repeatedly told that their internal costs, labor rates, supplier pricing, overhead, and profit margins are "proprietary" and that they only provide a lump-sum project price. I understand that a company does not have to disclose its confidential financial information. However, there is a difference between protecting proprietary business information and providing enough information for a customer to reasonably evaluate a significant purchase. What concerned me most was the explanation of the overhead and profit component. Based on the scope presented to me, this appeared to be a relatively straightforward, single-trade HVAC installation. I questioned why the stated overhead and profit percentage was appropriate for this particular project, but I was not provided with a meaningful explanation beyond the general value of their service. The issue for me is that when the quantities, labor, material pricing, and other components of a proposal cannot be independently evaluated, it becomes very difficult to determine whether the lump-sum price is actually representative of fair market value or includes substantial markups. I am not saying a contractor should work without making a profit. I am saying that a customer making a significant investment should be able to ask reasonable questions about the price without being told that the information needed to evaluate it is proprietary. Ultimately, the lack of transparency left me uncomfortable with the proposal and unwilling to move forward without being able to better understand how the price was justified. I would strongly recommend getting multiple quotes and asking very specific questions about scope, quantities, labor, materials, and additional charges before committing to a large HVAC purchase.
