Food and atmosphere are ok, pricing is good, service is slow/un-attentive. It's kind of like an Old Chicago without the benefit of a corporate training program :/ I'll go back if it's convenient and I'm just looking for an un-fussy slice, otherwise there are better places to have a beer or a meal. read more

Were promptly seated by the hostess Thursday night and then sat for 10 plus minutes without anyone checking on us for our order, bringing water, etc although two waitresses walked past our table. Lousy service - we left. read more

We had delicious pizza, 'shed salad and a caesar salad. Everything was really good. Our server was fun and attentive. We love the atmosphere of the place. The manager Jess is always walking through and available. I will keep going back and will also recommend it to my friends. read more

Went here for the first time last night for a friend's birthday party. I had a chance to sample several of the pizzas and a few different kinds of beer and that were all excellent. I highly recommend the pizza that comes with salami, ricotta cheese, and peppers as the toppings. Good prices too. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

My local beer living Seattle and Portland peeps will like this place! Decent beer selection and good food not all gross pub grub but yummy fresh salads and pizzas. Not too mention 20 beers on tap with a full bar and the music is legit rock alternative the kind that makes you reminisce while drinking your beer. Totally recommend it. read more

Horrible experience... My girlfriend and I placed a to go order. We ordered a NW Cheesesteak with no mushrooms, and mac n cheese. We don't live close by, but we were doing some shopping at the mall, so we ordered some food to take home. We got home and checked the bag, and there was no mac n cheese. The cheesesteak had mushrooms which we clearly stated to the airhead who answered the phone that we did not want. We called them immediately and the manager tried his best to resolve the issue, and refunded our money back to the card that was used. That is the only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of 1. We tried to look past the extremely long wait time to get our order once we arrived, but messing up the order completely is unacceptable. There are plenty of other places to eat in this neighborhood, they need to step their game up. We won't be back... read more

Jamey our server was attentive and knowledgeable, not obtrusive. Beer choices were varied and well selected. Lots of drink choices. Mac and cheese w/ bacon was fantastic but the regular Mac and cheese and cheese sauce for the pretzels was bland. Pepperoni pizza had a nice crust and flavor. I had a spicy chicken pie-fold (sandwich) which was excellent. Good place for good pub food. read more

Decent beer selection and food but the service was not so hot. The hostess was awesome, actually, it was our server who was lackluster. She wasn't super friendly - whatever, I can get over that but I'm upset because she shorted me on giving my change back. I didn't check the math before tipping her out so I noticed after I got home. My bill was $44.94 and I paid $60 cash. She came back with $14. A server should never short a customer on change and assume a tip, even if its just a dollar. That's not acceptable. Not coming here again. read more

Our family had been meaning to try Watershed since it opened and finally got around to it because of a Groupon. Comfy, casual atmosphere and friendly/attentive waitstaff. Unlike other reviews, we were taken care of promptly and our food arrived fairly quickly -- and the place was packed. Lots of beer options, so husband was happy. The food was OK, but the menu was very dairy heavy. It's something I need to be careful with, so I was a little disappointed there were so few options for me. Of course I can request no cheese, but the menu items don't really lend themselves to that. So I went for it and had something cheesy anyway - the Caramelle Pancetta, as a pie fold. It was decent (crust was good). Side salad was delicious. Husband and kid were happy with their dishes. Overall, we may or may not be back as a family for dinner, as I like to use my "cheese credits" on special meals. I would go for girls' night out, though, for appetizers and drinks. read more

Friendly wait staff and decent beer selection, but that's about it. Pizza is nothing special, lacking flavor. Prize is a bit above the worth. Inside is nice open, airy atmosphere, using wood and concrete decor. Couple of TVs with sports, and good size bar area. Bartender looked like he knew how to make a good cocktail. They have a kid menu, but they stick you in the farthest back corner, isolating you from the rest of the restaurant goers. Looks like they do several events each month featuring live music, or special dinners with beer pairings. Overall, we might come back if we're looking for a quick bite with no expectations. read more

One of my fave places in Seattle. Always see an owner on hand and they are extremely friendly. Love their seasonal salads and grilled cheese. Lemon poppy seed salad dressing is a must. Service can be an issue at times when they are slammed but the staff supports each other. read more

Service was good. Spaghetti (Mon/Tuesday Special) was very bland, with the meatballs being just OK. Wife liked her grilled cheese and tomato soup. read more

Surrounded by beautiful watershed protected green space with generous patio seating. I love coming here with and without my child. They make it so easy to keep children happy and also they have an amazing menu and selection of beers and whiskey. And wine! This place is honestly the hands down best place to come with family or friends, anywhere in the North end! read more

They really know what they are doing when it comes to grilled cheese. The beer selections were impressive and I loved the atmosphere particularly as it pertains to the location. read more

This is the BEST place I have eaten while visiting from L.A. The owners, Ben and Kelsey, really know what they are doing. I ordered the Seattle Dog and it did not disappoint. Comprised of sausage, beer cheese and caramelized onion, it blew my taste buds away. I loved the accompanying Strawberry Honey Ginger Cider. What a great experience! read more

A couple of weeks ago, we had a large party at the Watershed to celebrate the end of a kids' soccer season. I was concerned that it would be difficult to plan for 40+ people with varying tastes and needs, so (a few days ahead of our gathering) I reached out to the great staff there for some planning help. They were kind enough to meet with me ahead of time to go over our order, and advise me where I probably had too much of something and not enough of another, and sufficient variety to keep kids and adults happy too. We had our own space (the loft upstairs) and a dedicated server who took great care of our group, paid particular attention to those with dietary needs and worked to accommodate them, and generally made the evening hassle free. I highly recommend the Watershed if you need to coordinate a party. They have a great food and beer selection, but that has been the case each time I visit. However, the party planning assistance and overall quality of management at the Watershed really made it a memorable experience for everyone in our party. Thank you again Kelsey and Ben! Happy New Year! read more

Nothing special about this place. Nothing that would want to make me come back. Service was nice but slow and food was ok.

The pizza was yummy and fair priced. Wait time was just fine. Boyfriend thought the crust was, "perfect." Will definitely go back for seconds soon. read more

Had brunch here recently. The dishes were all pretty good but the service was super slow. The food took a long time to come up and it seemed that the bartender was waiting on the few tables that were occupied. Perhaps they were short-staffed. I hope this is the case because, as I said, the food was good and they have a really interesting assortment of beers on tap. read more

We were in the neighborhood and stopped by to try something different. Well, well got different all right. The service was lousy and the food was not good. We had the bruschetta with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. The bruschetta was not toasted and the cheese was cold. Not good at all! We also had Mac and cheese that had no flavor. Wasn't a good experience and we won't be back! read more

My wife and I recently tried the Watershed Pub and Kitchen, we love it great beer selection and the menu is excellent. They do make one of the better pizzas in North Seattle that I have tried. I don't get the reviews that said service is bad here. This place is very busy and the service is great; thank you Ariel for the recommendations. read more

Great beer selection, great service. Ordered the Optimus Grind. Wasn't that crazy about it though. I don't know that I would eat here again.

Beautiful place owned and operated by wonderful people! Not only is their beer selection awesome and food amazing, but you can buy your movie tickets ahead of time at a discount price! read more

We've been to the Watershed a few times and have enjoyed the variety of dishes on the menu and the rotating tap. Unfortunately, 45 minutes is too long to wait for two salads. We came in for a quick post workout beer and snack and ended up sitting in the empty restaurant waiting for quite some time. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but the restaurant was hardly busy at 8:30 p.m., and there was plenty of staff wandering around. read more

Delicious Sunday brunch and football! Had the best Bloody Mary made by bartender Luke! Great service and atmosphere. Their beer bread is delicious! read more

Watershed Pub & Kitchen - Pubs Near Me - Seattle, Washington

The food was good and had to wait a while for our drink order. I ordered pizza and had left overs to take home to my boyfriend. They wrapped it in aluminum foil. When I got home some of the topping slide of the pizza because of it. It was disappointing that I wasn't given a pizza to go box. read more

Beer was good but it seemed like all of the staff was slizzered like a wizzerd. They were super scattered.

In the past I have loved this place. I went in yesterday with my wife and I got a pizza. It was so salty and so greasy that my stomach hurt for about 8 hours. I definitely will not be ordering pizza again. I will give them another try since they've been good in the past read more

I went here over two years ago and I remember the food being pretty good! however, I came here a couple weekends ago with my Fiance and had a terrible experience. It was 9pm and the kitchen was out of everything!!!! BACON, CHICKEN, CARAMELIZED ONIONS, CHEESE BREAD, TOMATO SOUP..... I was very upset by this and decided to just go with the plain mac and cheese (as there was nothing to be added since they were out of everything) and it was TERRIBLE. Noodles were completely overcooked and the sauce literally tasted like nothing. Very disappointing date night for us. read more

What a great surprise! In love with their pizza--great salad too...good local joint and a new fav...

The watershed pub in kitchen is probably one of my favorite restaurants it's the most kid friendly family friendly places I've been to. I went there with my family today and I think that the cheeseballs are so good and so is their service. And not to mention the pizza is so good a lot of my friends and family say that their pizza is their favorite pizza also I would highly recommend getting their Caesar salad it's one of my favorites. Overall this restaurant was a great delight. I would 100% recommend this restaurant. read more

Any place where you actually get to know and talk to the owners means its great. That aspect plus a great rotating tap means this is my go-to on the north end. Keep it going, guys! read more

I've been here a few times for happy hour, dinner and brunch. I must say, I absolutely love their brunch. This is a great hidden gem. Their Bloody Mary was tasty. I also tried their shed benny and I'm pretty particular about eggs Benedict but it truly is delicious. On a different occasion, I've had their French toast which was also very good. Both times, I was kind of surprised that it wasn't very crowded on a Saturday morning. Their prices for brunch are very reasonable. I'll definitely return and this will likely be my go to brunch place when I want to grab breakfast with friends or family. read more

The Watershed is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. They always have different and great beers on tap. The food is always great and the piefolds are a game changer. Not to mention trivia on Tuesdays is free! And you can win gift cards to the watershed. Highly recommend to anyone in the area. read more

I really dig this new place. They have over a dozen beers on tap, and it's not the usual bud, coors, etc., that I see often. They're all solid, craft beers and reasonably priced, especially during happy hour. The food is also on point. I've tried a couple sandwiches; meatball and roast beef were both good, but the grilled cheese was my favorite. They elevated an old classic with caramelized onions, Beecher's cheese, and a phenomenal bread. Pizza is the real star here. It's kind of like a NY, thinner, foldable crust, with just the right amount of crunch. They have some great choices on the menu and I've tried several. Everything was great, but the sausage, peppers, and ricotta one was my fave (sorry, can't remember the name). They use quality ingredients and it really shows in the final product. Staff was friendly and well versed on the menu. The building is brand new and looks great. I'm stoked this place opened and can't wait to come back. read more

Hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for us. Great buffet, lots of attention and wonderful pizza including gluten free, mac and cheese, salad and veggies. Great service. Oh yeah the beers are great. read more

This place is a really fun trivia spot. My friends and I have been going for a bit now, and we keep coming back. Ali does a great job running the trivia. And you can't beat the beer selection - the bartenders even allow you have tastes of different beers without giving any side-eye. And the food is really good. There are options for everyone here, from salads and sandwiches, to pasta and pizza. I have been really into the pizza folds, as they come with a side salad. The optimus grind is good, and there are weekly specials that are delicious. I didn't think the bar was too loud, and they have an outdoor patio for nice weather. What more could you want? read more

I met my friend for lunch and decided to try their award winning grilled cheese sandwich. I took 3 bites and ended up sending it back. I am not sure what makes this sandwich award winning as it didn't have any cheese on it and it was tasteless. I showed our waitress the cheese and she said this is how it's made. I ate the cup of tomato soup, but it wasn't that good either. My friend got the same meal and wasn't impressed either. The place wasn't that busy, but it appeared they were short handed. Our waitress never came back to check in us, but eventually at the end came back to tell us that the 2 were taken off and asked if we wanted to split our check. We told her to split the check, but was confused why she asked us. I figured then she was going to charge me for the cup of soup I ate. I was so surprised when I looked at the check that she only discounted my meal 50%. When she came back I asked her about it and she said my manager feels the food had to be made and you should pay for it at least half. I couldn't believe the response. I should have asked for the manager, but I just responded that I will pay for the soup I ate and not for the sandwich I didn't eat. I came to a restaurant to eat good food not pay for something I didn't eat. It made me think that the restaurant needed to charge me something because they aren't doing so well. The place is nice, but I won't be back. read more

Great beer list and friendly service. The food was delicious. We started with the buffalo dip, so good!

Super disappointed! This place is really close to our house so we wanted to like it. Went in here yesterday with my wife and received some of the worst service of my life. After we were sat down and brought our first round of drinks, the lady working behind the bar that sat us down didn't bother to check on us to the point that I had to flag a separate waiter down and ask him to get us a second round. My wife ordered a nitro IPA and they brought us the wrong beer. When I went to approach the bar to ask for the correct beer, I said I'd still drink the one they brought out just to be courteous in case they didn't want to waste their product. Was perfectly happy to pay for it too. She acted like I was trying to get it on the house, snatched it away from our table and proceeded to talk about us to another employee in plain sight of our table. I actually heard her mutter the the words "not on the house" and look at our table begrudgingly. The other waiter floating around was super awkward, didn't check on our table once, was shooting us weird looks and was entirely unfriendly. Then, we were brought our check without even asking for it. Not sure who owns this place, but he should really hire some friendlier waitstaff if he wants his business to succeed. Sadly, even though this place is close to my house, I probably won't be back and will tell my friends to stay away as well. read more
