Nice atmosphere and good beer but the service was poor and the food was nothing to write home about. Went w/ my cousin after we saw Gone Girl (crazy movie!) and, after being seated by the hostess, we were ignored for the better part of a half hour. Finally flagged down a waiter & asked if he was our server - "nope!" was his response, but he was happy to take our drink order anyway, which was nice of him. Found the menu a bit perplexing -- Roast Beef sandwich listed as a small plate? No idea what a pie fold is -- I think it's a sandwich or a grinder? We ordered bruschetta, which I've always thought came on toasted bread. The bread wasn't toasted and was a bit stale actually. The chopped tomato topping was fine if a bit soggy. Certainly not good or memorable, though. Also, when the bruschetta arrived we didn't have silverware, napkins, separate plates. Had to flag somebody else down. We also ordered the Pao de Queijo, which are "Brazilian cheese balls." We mostly ordered them because they sounded weird and we were curious. Certainly wouldn't recommend them. More discs of bread than balls, they were bland and boring. If they got their act together in terms of service and upped the food quality, it'd be a great place to go after a movie or shopping. But the enjoyment we got was mostly from laughing about how confused we were by our bizarre experience. read more

we had dinner for the first time on Sunday. The place is clean and the staff very friendly. We ordered a Rueben. Totally disappointed. There was hardly any meat on it and very little sauerkraut. The man sitting next to us had the same thing and it looked substantial. We will try it out again. but, no Rueben. read more

The pizza is good but everything else we had was terrible! Hummus was a tasteless pile of mashed garbanzo beans. No flavor! The Brazilian cheese bread bites were also incredibley bland and a waste of money. The saving grace was the pizza and the cheese bread. We had the Greco pizza which was very tasty. Stick to basics here (pizza, cheese bread and beer) and you'll do great. Don't go beyond that unless you want to be sorely disappointed and waste your money. read more

The best pizza! The waiter and waitress is super nice and they serve the best pizza. It takes quite long to get my order but it is worth it since everything tastes so nice. They also have this outdoor sitting which is perfect in the summer. I love how it is right next to the apartment complex which is easy to get by. read more

It's ok. Crust is their claim to fame it's really good, every thing else, uuhh, it's just ok.

I wish there could be a zero rating for this place. We have come here 3 times. The first time We came here, they closed because there was not enough business. The second time, some patron had bought out the place so we were being turned away. Decided to give them a third chance but they wanted leave because they felt some members of our party were too tired to serve. Why would you want to waste your time and money here!? read more

My first time here was very disappointing. Service was weird. Hard to explain but just awkward and not good. The coffee was bad. The one person in the kitchen is not enough to actually put food out in a timely fashion. It took forever for our food and no server ever came by to check on us or to say the food would be out soon. It is too busy for them. The restaurant is way too big for the tiny kitchen and what seems to be the one person working in the kitchen. We waited about 50 minutes for the food and it was not worth the wait. We had the pizza and then we had stomach aches the rest of the day. read more

Nice location, good menu, and *excellent* beerage. Service was in fact a little slow when we were there, but our server had his hands full trying to balance indoor and outdoor seatings and we honestly didn't lack for anything. Standouts included the tomato soup (next time I'm going to take mine to another table, because it smelled so incredible I suddenly had to fend off all the other spoons nearby -- yes, I go out to eat with vultures) and the grilled cheese, which DAMN. My friends' thin-crust pizza was tasty as well, though if anyone asks it wasn't me who stole that last piece. We'll be back! read more

Way overpriced for the food and the drinks are nothing special but again with an overwhelming price.

Good selection of beer. Location is quite hard to find if you don't know your way around Thornton place. Food is just Ok. The pretzel was disappointingly small. The decor is pretty cool. The room is lined with point glasses. I probably won't go out of the way to come for beer. Unless I'm already in the area for movies or food. read more

I've never acquired a taste for beer, so I don't indulge in the brews. However, I do love the root beer on tap. Beers aside, the pizza is outstanding. The pizza crust is one of the best I've had in the city. The seating is a little uncomfortable and the acoustics are a bit loud, but well worth it for the food & drink. read more

Fine selection of beers on tap, I enjoyed the No-li tart pale ale. Atmosphere was very comfortable, nicely decorated. Having a family area big bonus. Had to try the famous grilled cheese sandwich, wow, that and a beer makes for a very fine lunch. I'll definitely come back. The staff were very attentive. read more

I give the Watershed an all star review. With great food, an open seating format and a very friendly staff it tops the charts in the Northgate neck of the woods. Check me out for beer and football or a pre film drink. Kid friendly. read more

We've been here a few times and the food is pretty good but service can be hit or miss. Go during weeknights to avoid the crowds and better service. Their pizza and beers on tap are great! read more

Second time coming here tonight. The bar/beer selection is amazing! The food is ehh. First time I ordered a fold over pie sandwich. It was good but way too much bread for the small amount of filling inside. This time around I got the bacon Mac and cheese. I thought the peppers were sweet, but instead they were a little too spicy and took away from the actual point of the dish. Service was decent both times. No issues there. Great local spot to grab a beer and have a good time with friends. Three stars for food o5 for the beer selection. Went in between. read more

This has been our SPOT! We moved to the north end about a year ago and we are here basically every week either for Tuesday trivia or before a movie. (Pro tip: grab a beer or food before your flick and buy discounted tickets from the bar). Staff is all incredibly nice and the owners are super cool. If you find yourself at Northgate Mall be sure to swing by for good food and a frequently rotating craft beer menu. We've just moved out of the hood, but will be back! read more

This is a review of the Watershed at Starfire in Tukwila.... On a Saturday afternoon they were severely understaffed. With a captive audience (only restaurant on site) they were doing a fairly brisk business with the soccer families. Unfortunately, the line was long with one guy working the register and a guy making the pizza. First time to try their pie, and only have one word for it. Bland. A Digiornio from the freezer section has more flavor. Don't waste your money. read more

We came in here after we went hiking one day. They have different types of beer on tap. The bartenders were friendly and gave great service. I will be going back again. read more

Don't go thirsty. Many taps, but we rarely saw our server enough to ask for anything like water since the beer went pretty quick with the pizza. Pizza was tasty cuz it had a surprise spice to it. I feel like if we asked for it to be well done, no problem. Overall experience was very relaxed, but wouldn't be my 1st rec if asked. read more

Great find, friendly atmosphere. We ate brunch, and were thoroughly impressed with the selection, the food, and the service!! Sorry we missed it before. If you're in the northgate area, don't settle for a chain, come check this place out! read more

I'm only giving this place 3 stars for now because I've only been here one other time. I ordered the Optimus Grind and was not disappointed! The only thing about the pizza pie is that it's kinda messy so I forked and knifed that sucker. Very filling so come hungry! read more

Their pizza is amazing! I love the fact they have rotation ciders and beers. One thing most people don't know is they also have brunch on the weekend and their beer bread Benedict is amazing! Their portions are on the larger side so come hungry or plan to share if you don't eat left overs. read more

Best brunch in Northgate. Always friendly service and a tap menu to make any beer geek swoon. Has become a favorite spot for team lunches, the occasional brunch and pizza and beer on cheat night. This place is a real gem tucked away in Thornton place. read more

Stopped by here a few months ago for a quick lunch. We both got cocktails. They were not good. We tried the Margarita Bites. They weren't really bites but a whole pizza. I got the Award Winning Half Grilled Cheese. It was not good. Didn't taste like anything and hardly had any cheese on it. My boyfriend got the mac n cheese, and it was ok, but nothing to write home about. read more

Always great food and friendly service. Also, if you're looking for a good weekend brunch spot be sure to check them out!!!

I really wanted pizza so ordered from Watershed since I live in the apartments right there but I should've gotten Papa Johns. When spinach costs an extra $2 I expect it to be on the pizza not in a box on the side and the garlic that I paid another $2 extra for wasn't even added. When I spend $24 on a pizza I expect it to be amazing or at the very least decent. It wasn't busy at all in there so I can't even use that as an excuse for them. Watershed was a complete waste of money and I won't be eating there again. read more

We had the artichoke dip and the chicken pesto fold over. The staff was attentive without being annoying. The artichoke dip was fantastic. The pizza dough had a terrific chew to it. Very enjoyable experience. read more

I LOVE this place! They have great, attentive staff, their pizza is the best in North Seattle (especially their variations of vegetable pizza) and the beer selection superb! All of their food is very good, you can't go wrong here! read more

Food was just okay. I got a Cesar salad and some of the lettuce was bad. Atmosphere is good. Wait staff is good.

Food is really good. Also stuffs are really nice to customers. Their mac and cheese are the best I have ever had in my life. read more

Love going to this place. The customer service is amazing. Great management. Food was perfect. Great small business worth supporting. If you haven't been here I recommend it. You won't be disappointed. read more

Excellent rotating beer & cocktail selection. Their pie folds were quite delicious; the Seattle Dog was extremely tasty. The wait staff were friendly & attentive. We'll definitely go back. read more

Love this place! Great service, pizza and drink options. Plus they do weekend brunch and it's delicious! I always find something new to try on the menu. If you're into trivia, live music or outdoor seating they've got that too. read more

We enjoyed our evening here. It is the kind of pizza I like: the salad was good. We found our favorite Seattle ale here. We love Full Sail Amber but now love Georgetown Chopper Red thanks to the wait staffs suggestions and knowledge. I love the location in this LEED ND development and along the daylighted creek. Perfect name too. We enjoyed our leftovers the next night as well. read more

I love that they have what, 21 rotating beers or 21 beers on tap or something, anyway, a ridiculously awesome number of beers on the menu and on tap. They have some wine and cocktails also. It has a very adorable atmosphere, feels more like a great neighborhood pub than a raging place for the bros (although I'm sure you can do that here as well). They have some games and chess and stuff to do, seating outside, differentiated but still kind of included seating for those not blessed with being drinking age, and booths. The service has been really awesome and friendly all three times I have been here. Beer tastes awesome, as do their cocktails, but their prices are kind of high and they don't have a great happy hour menu. In fact I don't believe there is food on it, although that may have changed since I asked about it a month ago, and beers are like a dollar off. And their food was good but I felt not completely worth the price tag. Ambiance: 5 Service: 5 Taste: food 3 drinks 5 Price: 2 1: utter failure 3: standard 5: awesomesauce Bottom Line: 4.5 It is a really great location and you can take anyone and their mother here (even probably that high maintenance date) for drinks, or if they like pizza. Their prices are pretty standard for beer, a teensy bit pricey for food. I will definitely come back since it is conveniently located, but would love to see a better happy hour menu, and pizza by the slice (i have to double check this but I was under the impression they don't sell by the slice). Love that they are a locally owned neighborhood pub/type bar! read more

Great atmosphere, food and beer, what more do you need? I had the cubano and it was delicious and juicy. Will definitely be back. Also grab discounted movie tickets with your meal purchase. Great dinner and movie date night. read more

Their rotating list of beers on tap is awesome; tons of choices. Great service is consistent and the prices are very reasonable! Definitely check this place out if you're in the Northgate area...great place to grab a drink before you catch a movie at the movie theater, just steps away. read more

So, it's a pub and I'm allergic to gluten and don't eat meat. I didn't have super high expectations. However, the menu has lots of diversity and even offers gf crackers on some of the appetizers (which made me immediately like them!). I ordered the Brussels sprouts, without bacon. They were delicious! I also ordered the green salad with garbanzo beans and tons of veggies. The dressing was delicious and just the right amount. My husband ordered the pizza folds and he couldn't put them down. This place had great service and a great atmosphere and, clearly the chef knows how to make delicious food. We'll definitely be back! read more

Following the recommendation of a friend, we went to grab dinner and drinks tonight before a movie. After 30 minutes (no exaggeration) and three polite requests to the host to send a server to our table, we left. Ridiculous. read more

So the food at The Watershed is generally pretty good. The restaurant offers a variety of pizzas, beers, and pie folds, which are sandwiches made on pizza crust. The 2 star review is as a result of a cleanliness concern. As my husband and I waited for our dinner, I watched an employee consume their entire meal at the expediters station. The expediters station is where all food leaves the kitchen. Servers were carrying plates of food out to guests that had been carried under this guys plate and chomping mouth as he blocked the expediting area . While I understand that employees may need to eat on their shift, consumption of food by employees should not be happening in such immediate proximity to where all food leaves the kitchen to guests. Just makes me wonder what is going on in the back of house at The Watershed... read more
