Although service was friendly and fairly efficient I had a near-fatal experience! I explained that I have a severe dairy allergy to the server, who assured me they "deal with this kind of problem" often--he offered one of the sandwiches, just no cheese, which he touted his kitchen knew to avoid cross-contamination. I even had him write on the order slip "Dairy Allergy" to remind the cooks. When the server delivered the sandwich I noticed it appeared to have been grilled in butter. I asked the server and he said "yes, that's how we warm the sandwich." He appeared surprised when I said "butter is a dairy product." I sent the sandwich back and ordered no food. Later when he delivered the bill the server made it appear a favor to have removed the sandwich from the total. Bottom line, don't trust them! read more

Came back to one of our favorite places with friends who had not been here before. We live 75 minutes away but make it a point to come here during happy hour whenever we can. As usual we had great service and food. My only slight is that the macaroni and cheese was bland and not very cheesy this time. Last time it was amazing. Not sure what happened. They make their food fresh and the pretzels are our favorite. Great pizza and salads. We will be back! read more

Today was my second visit here. I went with friends their first Friday, and loved my meatball sandwich. Today, though, oh my god. Grilled cheese taken to heavenly heights with smoked gouda, caramelized onion and homemade beer bread. Unbelievably delicious, and big enough to split. We also shared a green salad, so the waitress suggested substituting the salad that comes with the sandwich with some tomato soup. All incredibly fresh and delicious. My friend asked for a recommendation for an IPA and the waitress was very knowledgeable and chose one that my friend loved. I'm not a beer drinker but happily got no attitude about it. Very friendly staff, love that it's a family owned place, and wonderful food and beer selections. I'll be back! read more

Was hoping to have a good experience here but can't say that I did. Came here on a weekday with friends and service was still little slow. I got the Seattle Dog Pie Fold and was excited for it. When the food came and I took the first bite I was met with an overwhelming spicy taste. I knew from the menu that this item was going to be spicy but not the level of burning my mouth and taking away from the taste of the rest of the ingredients. I let my friends try it and they also agreed it was too spicy. I was pretty disappointed and couldn't even finish the rest of my meal. My stomach was not happy with me afterwards and from the reviews others have had issued with the level of spiciness. I reached out to staff afterwards and they did apologize and mention it could have been a quality control issue with their distributor and they are hoping in the future to update the menu to let others know about the level of spiciness. read more

Been here about six or eight times in the past three months. Excellent service and food every time. Great salads especially the Arugula Orange and Pear and Walnut. Excellent cheese plate a little different each time. I tried the Carnitas Torta sandwich based on a server recommendation and it was very tasty and just right size portion. I love the area and the outdoor seating looking towards Thornton Creek, too bad the weather is cooling off. read more

1st time here: and I found a hair in my sandwich. Long black hair that did not come from me. The caprese sandwich was super greasy and the tomato soup had way too many herbs in it to taste the 'San Marzano' tomato flavor. Timing was Saturday at 1pm so the brunch crowd is gone. I'm sitting at the bar quietly reading things on my phone and the bartender kept trying to engage me in conversation. If I wanted to chat, I wouldn't be staring at my phone. Needless to say I will never set foot in that place again. read more

Amazing pizza, amazing beer, great atmosphere. What more could you ask for. The pizza has a nice thin crust so the focus is solely on the delicious and fresh toppings. Perfect summer lunch spot and also a great place to get away from the cold in the winter! read more

This place is awesome! They have a wide variety of local beers and really friendly staff. Adam at the bar came over, shook my hand, and introduced himself. He did so with everyone at the bar. read more

Great atmosphere. Awesome service by our friend who is the bartender. Food at best mediocre. Watery soup and cold, flavorless cheese sauce for my pretzel. read more

I want to really like this place - it is super close to where my boyfriend and I live so I hoped it would be a staple for the "to lazy to cook" days. Unfortunately, despite a decent beer list and decent food... The service is always bad. I have been here when it's busy and when there is literally one other table and it has always been a painfully slow experience. Try to know everything you want the first time someone comes by because that may be your only shot. Then your food will likely sit under a heating lamp while the servers and bartenders act bored. Alas, we will probably be sticking to our go-to neighborhood pubs over this place in the future. read more

A solid meh. Came here because it was a beer camp location. Highly doubt I'll ever go back unless there's another beer week type event. Anyway, onto my review... First- the pretzel, ok size for the price, but what's weird is the "beer cheese" which is the most unnatural color of yellow. Like dandelion yellow or warning sign yellow. Moving on, dinner. I got the Tuesdays special of spaghetti and meatballs. Good portion, but wow, it was super spicy. (Granted I'm a spice wimp, so take that part of my review with an extra shake of fake Parmesan cheese). My friend got the Mac and cheese with bacon and peppers which they said was very tasty. Dessert: I ordered a glass of wine and the flourless chocolate cake. Which supposedly comes with whipped cream and fresh fruit. I got eventually got the cake (after asking for it a second time) and what seemed like two slices of grapefruit from the bar. No whipped cream. Then the third time we told the waiter we were done, he asked if we were done. Yea, that was fun. So overall 2 stars for food/service and 3 stars for the beer event. read more

Came in here with our little kiddo and she loved it. There was a bit of a wait but the hostess seated as soon as a table opened up. The pie folds were great. Our waitress, SarahMae, was super attentive and helpful. Great experience overall! read more

Pro tip: Order the grilled cheese sandwich and have them add spicy sour kraut to it. It's wonderful.

Good thin-crust pizza, nice salads, and an excellent beer list. We also got great service and found the set-up and servers very kid-friendly. It's also nice that they have the creek walk right there for younger ones to get the wiggles out while waiting for dinner. Nice, simple decor with plenty of light. This area has been anxiously awaiting such a place. We'll be back! read more

Great beer selection that is always changing. Pizzas here are pretty good as well. The tomato soup is superb! Pretzels are also good although the cheese sauce is bland - needs some more zip! Service is super friendly and always tries to be very accommodating if you are trying to make a movie time. We've had a couple slips as far as wrong beers delivered when they are busy but they are always quick to fix it. Be careful if you are sitting at the picnic tables outside - they're wobbly! read more

Stopped in for brunch on the weekend for a day date w my husband. Had a beer and a 'Shed scramble at 9am. Yummy. Added the hot sauce, even tastier. I assume mixed crowds come here. Good selection of beer. Board games. Love music. Also seems very kid friendly, though we didn't have our kiddos. Next time we want to try the pizza. read more

Stopped here for dinner and a drink before catching a movie next door. It's a nice space with plenty of seating and a north facing outdoor patio that probably gets good sun. They have a good beer selection on tap, I think it was close to 20 different beers. They also have darts which is a huge plus for me. All of that was great, however the food was just ok. We had the grilled cheese (super oily) and mamas spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were ok, but the past and sauce didn't have much flavor. I know they claim to use San Marzano based sauces, but COME ON the tomatoes can't do all the work, you need to season those suckers. Needless to say we will probably come back for drinks again before a movie and give the pizza a shot. read more

Half the table had finished eating before the rest were served. Last food came out 1.5 hours after our reservation. Might be a good pub but definitely not a place to go for food. Will not be coming back any time soon. read more

Love the pizzas! Great beer selection for my husband. For me, I love the root beers on tap and the wine on tap! Yep, wine on tap! Also, the patio outside in the summer can't be beet. read more

My first impression wasn't good and it only got modestly better as food and drinks were served. First, I sat down at a table which seemed a reasonable size for the group I was with. It was dirty, but figured when the waiter came over he would wipe it off but he did not. I moved to a different table after I heard more people were showing up for our gathering. We ordered two pizzas which resembled microwave pizza. We also ordered salads which were good but expensive. Overall, the food was pricey for the quality. In addition to the waiter not concerning himself over the first dirty table, he also neglected to bring drinks the first time he was asked. Our gathering was only 6 people, so he shouldn't have been overwhelmed serving drinks and pizza to a table of 6. If you are looking for a mediocre restaraunt with over priced food and average service, then this is the place. read more

Really cool environment and excellent staff. The drinks were very tasty! For me the food fell short though. There was very little flavor and the bread tastes like cardboard. I was expecting a little more... read more

Ordered pizza and drinks and sat at the bar. Good selection of beers and ciders on tap. Pizza was pretty good, service was a little slow. Will for sure come back. They usually have deals online so be sure to be on the lookout! read more

We decided to try this place out after hearing about it on eater Seattle. Pizza was pretty good, the crust is awesome! It was hard to find as it is tucked behind the movie theater. They need bigger signs. The bad thing was our waitress Sarah S. She was horrible!! She was rushing us thru the order & never came back to even see if we needed utensils, refills on beer etc. I actually physically had to track a different waitress down! read more

We came in at about 9 on a Wednesday night. The staffed seemed stressed out and understaffed. I had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. I am a Vegan who went to try the chickpea salad. Come to find out the salad was already pre mixed with dairy. I asked for a dairy free, gluten free and vegan appetizer and she came with the non gluten free bread and cheese shredded on the hummus. I made a salad that I was assured would have no dairy. The salad came covered in feta which I picked off myself, because I was already frustrated and worried i would not get a new salad promptly. She apologized after speaking with the kitchen, and gave us free drinks at the end of the night. If she hadn't done that we would not have given a tip. Will not go again and do not recommend to anyone who is vegan, or even just trying to be dairy free. read more

The food is pretty good. I've had the beet and spinach salad and many pizzas. Service is terrible. I'd opt for takeout rather than dine in.

The pizza and pie folds are nothing crazy special, but I like the beer, the ambiance, the trivia. The servers are always super friendly too. It was a good local watering hole for northgate read more

If you want a good IPA this place is for you. If you want lunch or dinner go somewhere else. I understand it's a pub but they advertise it as a "kitchen" too and talk up the food. I live close by and have tried their food multiple times think I might find something I like because of all the hype for the place. But have yet to find anything that tastes half decent and 50% of the time get a lazy half put together sandwich with cold meat and almost no cheese. I had the beef and blue and can honestly say I've never had a worse sandwich, almost no flavor and almost no cheese, side salad tastes bland of dressing and lettuce tastes unwashed. Not to even mention the slow and rude service received by both myself and girlfriend. Will not be back. 2/10 do not recommend. read more

I'm basing this on the service. The food was decent, we had a group (6 top), the gal kind of slow? It was cold, wet and rainy. We waited quite a bit to get our food order, It all came out at once and they ran out of salami for one of the pizza's we had order, so we opted for bacon. But the bacon was kind of burnt. How the hell do you over the BACON!??! ITS BACON PEOPLE!!! Ugh, fine I'll deal. My husband ordered a pitcher of beer to share and she didn't bring an extra glass (their were three of us sharing the pitcher so I had to share the pint glass with the hubs.) By the time we got the extra pint glass the pitcher was nearly gone. I asked for a refill of hot water, never got it. Maybe she was still recovering from thanksgiving? Either way, not if we will be returning... read more

We went there for early lunch on a weekend. We were the only ones there and service was so slow! Major turn off when we ordered appetizers (Pão de Queijo - our kids' favorite snack) and they said it would take a whole hour to get them done. Obviously we didn't wait. I can get them done at home in 25 min from scratch. The booth where we sat was dirty what totally threw us off. They have no actual children's cups so obviously we had a lot of clean up to do with 2 children trying to handle pub sized glasses of water. Not to mention the "fruit cup" in their kids meal menu is a ramekin of canned pineapple chunks swimming in sugar syrup. EW! Which they sent to our table with a humongous spoon instead of a small desert sized fork. We had to call the server several times to bring items that were missing like napkins, silver, plates, etc and she was always taking her time. I waited for a refill on my soda our entire meal. She never offered one besides seeing my empty glass on the side of the table. She actually never came back to check on us after delivering our order. The food is average so we're probably not coming back. I wish I had read the reviews before heading there. read more

The staff at the Watershed are quite accommodating and friendly. I came here with a large group and they were able to quickly get us seated and our food. They have a vast menu with many good choices. I had the pizza fold which was a bit spicy for me but delicious. Overall, a great experience; I would go back! read more

I really want to love this place. It's close to my house and it has a great selection of beer. But the food and the service are mediocre at best, and I just can't get past that. This review is based off multiple visits, unfortunately. The cheese balls seem to be missing a key ingredient - cheese. The meat and cheese plate suffers from a terrible imbalance of meat, cheese, and bread - mostly due to the impractically thick (though tasty) cheese slices. The pretzels were excellent, the mustard very good, and the cheese sauce vomit-inducing. I have no idea what they were thinking with the cheese sauce. It's more like a cold, slightly garlicky milk. Very confusing. The vegetable sandwich and the meatball sandwich are decent. The tomato soup has been so camouflaged with cheap cheese and salt that it barely resembles to fruit it was named for. The salad with the honey lemon dressing is fine. The real heartbreaker of the evening was the grilled cheese. Made with a loaf of bread, cheap or maybe fake butter, and grilled onions, somehow the cheese got overlooked. I'd estimate about 1/4 a teaspoon of cheese on each half loaf, at best. I wanted to cry in disappointment. Any hopes I had that dessert would make up for it all vanished with my first bite of the dark chocolate cheesecake. It is composed of at least 50% bland crust, and the other 50% is merely a grainy chocolate pudding. Maybe I'm so critical of the food because the service is so erratic. Simple orders of beer can take over 15 minutes to arrive. After waiting 10 minutes for the pretzels and beer, we ordering the meat and cheese plate too, which arrived long before the others. After eating these, we were planning on waiting another 20 minutes to order our meals, but based on the previous dishes we decided to order now. The meals arrived immediately. Come here to have a beer, but don't expect your meal to be more than 60% good. read more

Was there for late lunch and the pie folds with salad were great! Also, the music was at the perfect level, not too noisy. Also, the televisions were muted and they showed other than sports on the screen. These are big plusses for me! read more

Walked in and was ignored for a good minute by the bigger red head hostess. The brunette finally greeted us was friendly and eventually seated us. Ordered a pizza first thing the waiter says is there kitchen should be caught up they've been busy. 20 mins pass with a apology for the wait and that they are making our pizza now, another 20 mins pass another apology it's going in the oven now. Wow it took 20 minutes to "make" the pizza? Now it's going in the oven 40 mins after I've ordered. 20 minutes pass still no sign of a pizza been here over a hour. My kid couldn't wait any longer so I asked for the pizza to go, so close to just leaving but I didn't want to screw them so paid for the pizza the waiter felt bad and says I'm going to give you a discount. Then he gives me my change and receipt I'm excited to see my "discount" which I was just going to tip him anyway for the gesture. No discount! why even mention it? Needless to say no tip then. read more

Food was good and staff was nice. There was a huge corporate party going on which is why I call it an "ok" experience. The A/C was on so high (or low depending upon how you look at it) that I was super cold the whole time. I'll give it a 2nd chance when I'm in the area and bring a sweater! :-) read more

This place is great! I just moved here, so I came by myself on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. I made some friends with the regulars and the bartenders. Everyone was great. Bartenders checking on me every few minutes or so, and the pizza is good too. I'll definitely be back :) read more

Came here for the first time and loved it! My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly, all while seemingly having a great time and enjoying their job and their coworkers. A wide range of delicious beer on tap. I cannot believe places like this exists. I do not know if it was because i was asian, but not the bartender nor the waitress wanted to serve us in the bar. We got passed back and forth and had to negotiate our beer. We got the rude looks from the staff and like we did not exists. I have been on yelp for years and used this often, but never have we been treated on a place this bad before that i had to leave a caution to my fellow culinary hunters. Its not even bad instance, it was just a offensive experience. The pizza btw, was just ok. I prefer flying squirrel though which is a few blocks down. The bill got back to us though really fast. read more

I've been twice. The place probably isn't going to make it with the servers getting high on their breaks and drinking both behind and at the bar (I guess he got off his shift - he was drinking while he was serving and then pulled up a stool at the bar). Yes pot is legal in Seattle but I don't want my server coming back all glassy eyed after going out to the parking lot while I wait for my pizza. read more

Since this place opened a few month's ago it has become my fiance's and I favorite place to be. We love walking here after a long day and splitting a pitcher and a pizza.
