Great place with great vibes. There were fifteen in our party and everyone working there was very kind and attentive. My wife and I ordered the 18'' Spinach Caprese pizza which was VERY good. Our friends ordered the Meathead pizza which was loaded with different types of meat that we'll order next time because it looked very good. read more

We had an amazing time at the bar chatting with Jess! We will come back just to see her!!

The staff here is so friendly and the food is awesome. I've really only sat at the bar so I can't speak for table service, but I stop at this place whenever I have time. read more

It's a little bit pricey when you come here for food. But their drinks selection is a huge deal! My husband can try many different kind of Beers, and myself enjoy their cocktail a lot as well. One of the special pizza they have on the menu has macaroni and cheese on it which is so yummy every time we ordered. read more

Great local restaurant in Northgate. Good service, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere. My husband and I frequent Watershed every few weeks. Docked one star for their lack of good desserts! We've tried a few different options over the past year (including a carrot cake & a tiramisu cake) and were disappointed. Their desserts have a homemade, healthy-ish bent to them which is a shame... When I buy dessert at a restaurant, I want to indulge! Everything else here is great. read more

Excellent beer in a prime location. Feels like a real neighborhood joint, comfortable to grab a bite to eat with a close friend or your whole family. Oh, and the pizza is actually pizza, fresh dough, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, and a focus during the summer on farm to table. And they'll hook you up with deals on movie tickets. read more

One of my go to places in Northgate. Great beer selection and their grilled cheese is to die for!

We are so impressed by the customer service here. Truly above and beyond! Hawaiian heat pizza definitely hit the spot.

Great service and felt safe to enjoy a meal! The server made sure our table was clean and dry before we sat down. Food is delicious as always! Great selection of drinks too! read more

Watershed Pub was a delightfully unexpected gem. I discovered them online in reference to their 3rd Annual Black and Brew Fest, and their selection was superb! Truly exceptional dark beer, many of which I've never had before. (My favorite was from Midnight Sun.) They offered 4 oz pours of all 6 from their featured brewery, with a souvenir glass, for $13!!! A huge plus, particularly considering the location and building style, was learning that this pub is a locally-owned and independent business. The owners were there, happy to lend a hand to their staff and chat with us about beer, food, and business. The bartenders were fantastic; totally into beer, attentive, and personable. (Luke, John, and Javier, that shout-out is for you!) We tried a couple apps, a pie fold, and sammy, all of which we were really happy with. (And we're pretty darn picky about what we'll spend money on!) All in all, we had an amazing first experience, and plan to be back regularly. They offer their patrons discounted movie tickets for the theater next door, so date night just got that much simpler. ;) Lots of events during the month, from fundraisers for non-profits to trivia to live music, so there's something for everyone. Support a local pub doing it right!!! read more

We ordered from the Christmas side dish take home menu and it was absolutely fabulous, and reasonably priced. Hope the offer something similar for other holidays. DELICIOUS!!!!!!! read more

Who doesn't love a great Pub! Watershed food is delicious. The beer-battered bread is crispy and perfect and we have enjoyed the food every time. Glad to report that carry-out service resulted in no loss of quality. I had the grilled cheese (carmelized onions make this the best ever) and my husband had mac and cheese that he loved. Looking forward to our next take out from Watershed. read more

Came in with a few friends had a great night Devon our server was attentive and informed which made asking questions about the menu and rotating beers fun and welcomed great service and warm atmosphere we all had a great time read more

Out of the 5 times we've been here, one was a good experience. We're done going after our last visit. We came for a party, but separated from the group after about 30 min to get our own table and dinner. Our waiter brought us menus and drinks and then disappeared. He was fantastic to this point. Apparently went to go work behind the bar, which no one told us, and no one replaced him. After our food came out wrong, our empty water glasses sitting for over 20 minutes, I finally went and got the hostess as multiple other waiters passed us by without so much as a glance. The hostess was very kind and obviously cared about the experience we were having. At the end of the eve, I asked to talk to the manager and SHE ARGUED WITH ME when I explained our unhappiness. She never apologized, was very defensive, and tried to turn it back on us. Who does that?? So much for turning a bad experience around for us. Very disappointing, I've worked in the service industry for a while, and no matter what the events are that cause a bad experience, the reaction and follow through of the management can make it all better. This woman chose to make it worse. read more

I'm torn on how I feel about Watershed. I happened to come here twice on 1 day and had vastly different experiences with the food. For lunch, I ordered the tomato soup, and it came with 2 pieces of bread with melted Beecher's on top. I also had the Caesar salad. Both were AMAZING. I'm very familiar with how Beechers cheese tastes and the toasted bread had that distinct flavor, which was great. Loved their homemade Caesar dressing too - it was oil based not creamy and it paired perfectly with the salad. I went there later that night and got the Salsiccia Caprese Mac and Cheese and cheesy bread. The Mac and cheese was supposed to be made with Beecher's but it was probably one of the most bland Mac and cheeses I've had. It didn't have any cheese flavor (much less Beecher's cheese), and the only savior of the dish was the balsamic drizzle on top. I've seen many other reviews about how bland this dish is, so I know it's not just a one time occurrence. I would urge Watershed to revisit their recipe to make it more flavorful. Overall, if you come here, I highly recommend their soups and salads! Steer clear of the Mac and Cheese read more

I've been coming to Watershed for over 3 years, and have never been disappointed. The pizza "pie folds" are amazing, and their salads rock too. Friendly service and a great atmosphere - we love this place! read more

This place is great. It's off the beaten path outside Seattle and had great food. I tried the grilled cheese (I know I'm boring) but it was so good. The beer bread and caramelized onions put it over the top. We also got the chicken bacon ranch pie fold (if you don't know what that is go try one) they are amazing! Great service and cool atmosphere! read more

Danger Will Robinson, Just below the Thornton Place apartments lurks a outside appearance of a very nice pub. The beer might be the only thing that is safe. They have done very marginal on all their health inspections and are in the DANGER Zone... Eat here at your own risk. I see the help wrapping their hands around nasty cigarettes everytime i'm around that place... I just imagine if they are washing their hands before touching foods. check out the health inspection on the King county site. Don't recommend the food even if it taste good, you won't think so a few hours later if they are not keeping themselves clean... Yuck!!! Another potential Roach Motel... HORRIBLE/RUDE/DRUNK/IGNORANT BARTENDERS!!! What would have been a peaceful night for me turned into complete disgust at The Watershed Pub. While having a drink around 10:00pm (Thursday, Nov 12th) I unfortunately witnessed a very negative interaction by the bar staff with a patron in which the staff escalated the issue at every point they could beyond what should ever be acceptable or appropriate. It was VERY clear to me the staff was completely in the wrong, drinking on the job, & ignorant to their job when dealing with how a Groupon payment works (really? still?)! It seemed like the intention was to steal money from this patron & probably others as well since the bartender said it's "management policy." Management apparently does not get that once a Groupon is expired, it is the same as cash at that point. You can use it anytime for the amount you paid for it. Those rules are clearly stated on EVERY Groupon & have been for YEARS now & honestly, as someone working in the industry i was appalled they didn't know this & tried to tell the patron he couldn't use it. Not only that, but they were SO stupid (or drunk) that when he tried to explain this to them (2 guys behind the bar) instead of being respectful servicemen, they started getting frustrated and being super rude to the customer that was just trying to explain something THEY SHOULD ALREADY KNOW! Talk about a FAIL guys, seriously. I would laugh, but they then started really treating this guy like shit & getting loud. UNACCEPTABLE. At this point, i wanted to walk out without paying myself. I couldn't help but think, "what jackasses." The two bartenders caused a scene for the whole place. I haven't seen something that CLASSLESS at a restaurant bar in a long time, if ever. Plus, they were drinking behind the bar. There was just no reason for being rude to this guy so maybe that had something to do with it, who knows. A complete lack of ability to handle the situation was very obvious because again, let me remind you that the patron was 100% correct! I just can't express how furious it was to watch, especially as a business owner. Ugh. The worst thing was when they tried to blame it all on their bosses., unless their bosses are actually ignorant to the rules as well, which is even worse. They said "My boss won't let me take the Groupon." Well, If this is true then the Better Business Group should be informed that management is trying to steal peoples pre-paid money from Groupon.......in fact i may just write a report to them as well. I don't even know the patron and I wasn't a part of their discussion, but i was so appalled that i had to write this review and let others know they shouldn't visit this establishment.....EVER. If i could say one thing to the owners: either due to ignorance or incompetence, you lost customers tonight. What started out as a good evening for us was spoiled because of your inadequate, unprofessional staff. Get it together & learn the rules of Groupon & teach your staff in the future, otherwise get used to 1 star. read more

My friend and I came here for drinks and I am sorry to report that the Winter's Rose was pretty bad. I am no cocktail expert so I thought it would be a rare day when I found a drink I thought was very bad, but this was it. The Winter's Rose has gin, st. george spiced pear liqueur, lillet blanc, thatcher's elderflower liqueur and prosecco so I was pretty excited since I like all of those things. It sounds like a delicate cocktail but it was a giant cocktail that was way too much alcohol. The flavors weren't balanced, the proportions were off, the temperature was far-too-lukewarm and it was downright undrinkable. I asked them to add some club soda, which made it bearable but ultimately, I left it unfinished. We polished our trip off with a decent slice of comfort pizza and headed out. :( read more

We tried this for the first time this past weekend. I absolutely loved the mac and cheese. My companion was not so lucky. She ordered the Warm Quin-Yaki salad, and added chicken, which she regretted. The dressing and other ingredients were great, but the chicken was tough, rubbery, dry, hard to cut, impossible to eat, and a terrible disappointment. They need to have a better quality chicken and cook it properly or we will not return. The music was impossibly loud, and so are the acoustics, making conversation difficult. read more

Great atmosphere, horrible wait staff. The first waitress we had was passive aggressive and would just stand in front of the table waiting for our attention. She also refused to engage and would only ask, as if bored, "anything else?". After she clocked out the next waiter was friendly until the check was split incorrectly and a member of our table heard him cussing us out. Unprofessional and rude. Also, we waited for twenty minutes (so far, maybe more) for the correct individual bills. The waiter seemed intent to punish us for their misunderstanding. read more

For a new pub, these folks are doing a great job. Wonderful rotating beers, great food, nice vibe, and terrific service!

Super lame food. I had a meatball sandwich that was just shy of awful. It was very bland and soggy on tough bread. It comes with a salad which is really just a bed of spinach leaves and two cherry tomatoes. Not a place I'd eat at again. read more

Wow I really enjoyed the watershed. The pizza was perfect. So good! Only a couple of suggestions. When we walked in no one greeted us and the seat yourself was confusing. So we were just standing there for a solid minute before anyone said it's seat yourself! Also, no one came to our table for the first 3 minutes and it's probably because the message wasn't relayed that we were there. But other then that I love the new addition to northgate! It's just what the area needs! read more

My family and I got thrown out of the Watershed yesterday because my disabled son brought in food from another establishment. We had ordered a full round of drinks and food for three including salads when the self-righteous waiter told us we couldn't have food from outside the business and that we would have to leave. I pointed out that every other Maple Leaf restaurant had been OK with this, but he insisted. I asked to see the manager, but that person took so long to come out that I just left with my son who was mortified. The result of my family agreed to clean up the emotional mess. The reason we bring my son to these establishments is to train him on going out. He does not do anything to disrupt the environment. I'm surprised that it was so important for the Watershed to enforce this rule at the expense of what would have been regular $75 tab customers who can now never go back. read more

This place is pretty reliably good. Decent service, good pub style ambiance. The reubin is good, the pizzas, too! Pretty good spot for a bite before going to the movies! Love the GF Brazilian cheese balls with salted honey, and it goes great with the spinach salad! The place can be a little loud, but it's a sizeable bar, so duh. Friendly service, and love the local decor. Just a bit hard to find unless you know where it is, maybe they could add another sign in the parking lot by the Cinema. read more

I'm a bit of a foodie so I'll keep it simple...The pizza is what Pagliacci wishes it could be (but never will) and less expensive! Crust, cheese blends and sauce impeccable. If you don't love the pizza, go back to Pizza Hut, this is wasted on you. The beer selection is good although a little heavy on the IPA's, but I can always get a stout or porter. The sandwiches, especially the "Pie Fold" which uses pizza crust as bread, might be the secret weapon if you aren't looking for an 18" pie. Like an Italian pita sandwich. I wont even get into the beer bread grilled cheese, it is mind blowing. Daytime bartender Sara is one of N Seattle's best and, believe me, I know something about that as well. read more

I went here for Monday night football. I really loved it. Great staff, great beers on tap, stiff drinks, and very delicious food.

I went there for the dine out for life promotion.. I did some prior research and wanted to try some of the fresh hops beers that they had to choose from. They had so many to choose from that there was no way I was going to get all of them in on one visit. I had ordered one and was tasting and experiencing it when the server came up to me and asked me what I wanted to order to eat, I told her I am going to order my food to go when I order my second beer. When I finished my first beer, a different server came up to me and asked me if I was ready to order and/close out. I Immediately felt really un welcomed, but I ordered food to go and another beer. About five minutes before my food arrived the server came up to me and asked if I was ready to close out so that by the time I was done with my beer, my food would be there and I would be ready to go. I told him I wanted one more beer and then I'll be ready to close out, the beer came, the food came and he pretty much hovered until I left. Overall I felt unwelcome. The food was ok. The beer selection read more

This place is brand new, so I'm hoping they get some stuff worked out. I came in for lunch, and I just was wildly underwhelmed by the place. The good: -The staff was amazing. Everyone I talked to was very friendly -The beer selection was varied and extensive The bad: -It's pretty pricey for what it is. -The pizza was mediocre at best. I would place it one small half-step above something you'd get at a by-the-slice joint in a strip mall. The sauce tasted like it was just spooned out of a can, and the dough was so-so. -They skimp on toppings. Maybe it'll get better, though I probably won't be coming back to find out. read more
