I've been here a few times now and had a great experience every time. Their food is really good, I especially love the Delizia Martino pizza (blue cheese, mozarella, and the ever present Beecher's cheddar on olive oil). I could eat it all day every day. Their grilled cheese is phenomenal. I know every restaurant in Seattle boasts the best grilled cheese every but after trying dozens of them, this one is my favorite. Their salads are also delicious, and I loved the honey-lemon salad dressing so much I started trying to mimic it at home. Beer selection is good and prices are competitive. I've loved every cocktail I've had here and all of them were very strong, to the point where I had to slow down and wait until my food arrived to keep sipping. People have complained about the prices of the pizza but I felt the pizza we ordered was huge and delicious and fairly priced for Seattle, we even had leftovers for lunch. Service here is good too. All of the servers I've had have been friendly and on top of things, and it seems like other servers and staff sometimes stop by as well to make sure you don't need anything. The first time I came here, in fact, two different servers tried to take our drink order within a few minutes of sitting down because the second one was worried we hadn't been greeted yet. read more

Okay food. Im never awed by it, but it's not bad either. Tap list is on point though. The servers are always kind, quick and knowledgeable.

Great food and service. Charlie goes out of his way and is an amazing person who actually cares about the people dining at the Watershed Pub & Kitchen. read more

Strangely underwhelming first visit. I can't even say exactly why I didn't love it and that feels like part of the reason I don't like it. I just don't quite get what they're doing. Atmosphere is fine, there's nothing really wrong with it but it does feel a little boring. Husband had 2 beers and I had 2 drinks, a strawberry rhubarb margarita and blackberry mule. All were good. The strawberry rhubarb margarita was actually delicious. Husband had a Croque Madame which is one of his favorite things in the world (we just came back from France where he had so many that I'm surprised he even ordered this tonight). He loved it and it had 2 eggs on it which is double the protein they normally have on them I guess? He had it with a side Caesar salad which was also good. I had a pork carnitas pizza fold. I honestly felt like they weren't even trying here. It was a pre-cooked pizza crust basically cut in half and served as a sandwich crust. It didn't taste very good and was just confusing. I did have a side of life changing tomato soup with it though. Holy moly, that was amazing. Next time I'll order the grilled cheese with bacon and a cup of tomato soup and I bet I'll be content. In summary, I guess this place is fine. I almost want to knock them down to 2 stars for being just "fine". I feel insulted that it seems like they're not really trying. That's not how you create a long lasting and profitable restaurant either. We had heard good things from friends. I kind of question their judgement now. read more

Been here three times. Everything has been tasty and with good service . I think a lot of younger Yelpers are entitled freaks who obviously have never been in food service. read more

Came for lunch and was informed 7 year old could not sit inside due to not being vaccinated, even though vaccinations for children in the 5-11 age range only became accessible several days prior. Website was not properly updated with clarity and in person interaction was less than desirable when communicating policy in restaurant for indoor dining. Updating original review to give credit to managers and or owner for immediate response to my Yelp review and updating their website to be more clear on their policy within an hour of my posting. While it doesn't change the experience of today, the responses were prompt and action oriented and credit is due. Thank you Ben and Kelsey. Happy to update the review and increase rating for positive response and actions. Good luck to you and your business in the future! read more

The good thing is , it's just below my apartment. They have a very strategist location. Near the cinema, coffee shop, mall, transit centre and mall. But the food is okay, nothing special. read more

The atmosphere here is a good size and very comfortable. A good chill place to grab a beer and food that isn't too pub like or overly classy. I've had both their brunch and their pizza and I think they're pretty tasty. The selection of toppings or type of food fits my tastes. Their cocktails, on the other hand.. Let me say this, all of their menu item descriptions suit my tastes perfectly. I was SO excited to review their drink menu because everything sounded like a drink I'd love to order. HOWEVER - I've never had a cocktail here that I've liked. They've all tasted extremely bitter and one noted. The ingredients all sound amazing, but the balance is just not there. On another positive note, however, service is always extremely nice. I've never had a poor customer service experience. In the end - good place to get food and a beer - especially before you catch a movie. I suggest avoiding the mixed drinks. read more

I like this place. The staff is friendly. The pizzas are good. The drinks are good too. When it's sunny, the deck with it's communal seating is very nice. I wouldn't say anything in-particular would drive me there except for the deck on a sunny day. If I am in the neighborhood though, it is first on my list. read more

LOVE this place!! So conveniently located for grabbing drinks from the transit center before heading home after work. They have a surprisingly solid craft beer selection and great grilled cheese and tomato soup. They have a great late night happy hour. Beyond the amazing food and craft beer beer here, the space if big enough for large groups, and they often hold cool events here like trivia and live music. It's a great little oasis. read more

I have had better pizza, but it is a good location to get food before the movie. I have to try some of the sandwiches and beers next time. The restaurant was not super busy and it took or pizza a long time to come out. The service was nice and responsive to anything we needed. read more

Good pizza and great beer selection!. Very friendly and helpful service.

This place is awesome. Great food, friendly service, and they are more than happy to bring a treat out for my pup. Love the outdoor seating and having a place I know I can eat safe while in the pandemic. Their pizza is amazing too and the Gluten-friendly crust is VERY good! They have some rotating events or special items sometimes that add some variety while usually contributing a share of their profits to a good cause :) read more

The star rating would probably be 2.5 if that were an option. I was torn between choosing 2 and 3. I used to come here pretty frequently, not because I enjoyed it, but because it was literally across the street from the office that I used to work at. The food is decent. Not outstanding. I usually ordered the charcuterie plate, which was consistent. Happy hour prices are a joke. Go somewhere else if you're looking for a good deal. The staff was mostly unfriendly. Even to regulars. Maybe it has gotten better since I was there last. Given the option, I wouldn't choose this place. I only ever went here out of convenience, and now that I no longer work in North Seattle, I'll probably never go back. read more

Nice friendly place. They are still in their first week of service and so understandably are working out a few things. For example becoming more kid friendly, hopefully they get just a couple things on the menu that will be good for the kids but they did a great job accommodating. Beer selection was great. They could use a couple more ciders. Food was delicious and a great price. read more

Great selection of rotating beers. Thoughtfully crafted food and cocktails. Also $10.00 movie tickets. Perfect neighborhood bar to start or end your evenings with a stellar staff. read more

Stopped in here for a libation while we waited for our show time to get a little closer. While we didn't eat, the food we saw and smelled was appetizing. It's on the bottom backside of a shopping/apartment complex. Not my ideal type of restaurant, but I am sure it works well for the hungry/thirsty folks milling about or living overhead. read more

The only reason I am giving this one star is because at least I got a rum and soda.... This was my second visit to the watershed and will be my last. The staff here are horrible, like they seriously must hate their jobs so much they don't give two effs. They all look sloppy, I understand if you have a causal dress policy, but Jesus you want look at least clean. I ordered a madori sour and about 10 minutes later our waiter came back and said oh sorry we don't carry any of that, or anything close to it. OK. I literally ordered that drink a week ago. And you have a full bar?? Obviously not. So I ordered a rum and coke and he was super rude and said well does it have to be coke specific? Cause we don't have coke we carry an off brand Seattle cola. I am not a picky damn person I just wanted my drink on a hot day. The food was just blah. And can someone tell me why our waiter thought it was appropriate to take my food outside to wait on another table and then box it up outside and bring it back inside to our table. The pizza isn't bad, but it's nothing special. For three of us and we just had one pizza fold and one drink it came to 80 bucks. Ridiculous. It's funny though the first time I came here it was for a work party and I had the same waiter and the service was just as bad. He's name is Ben I think. He's going to loose that place business . Again I can't say enough how disappointing the service is here. I'm surprised they are still open. read more

One of the best outdoor seating options I've seen. We liked this place before the pandemic, but have been plenty of times since. If they are busy, it can take a little while to get food, but it's always delicious. Favorites include the grilled cheese on beer bread, the pie folds (which I much prefer over calzones), and the brunch bennys on beer bread. The hollandaise sauce is delicious. Decent gluten free options too. Also, staff had always been really friendly. read more

We came here on a chance one day when we noticed the sandwich board outside, and I'm glad we did! We've probably been about half a dozen times now. It's hard to surprise me with beer selections but Watershed always does. The first time we visited they had my covered Cigar City Brewing on tap - I'm originally from Florida and miss Cigar City desperately and was over the moon to find it here. Even after that visit I'm always very pleased with the tap selection, which my rating of a location majorly depends on. The pizza and pizza folds are some of the best pizza I've had in Seattle. The pizza fold selection appears to constantly be changing, which is good and bad - good for new things to try, but then when I find one I love it may not be there next time! Every time we go to the Northgate area for errands or movies, we go to Watershed for a meal. I highly, highly recommend it. read more

Stopped by here for Saturday lunch with a group of 9 friends. Easy to get a table. The place is beautifully bright because of the large high windows in the place. They had live music playing, which could be a blessing (live guitaring is always nice) or a curse (it's a bit loud) depending on what you're looking for. I'm giving this place five stars for two reasons. First, the beer selection is unique and interesting. I tried the Cloudburst Psycho Hose Beast Triple IPA, which I had never heard of and has a fantastic name (and was very good). Second, the chicken bacon ranch pie fold I had was really, really good. It tasted like a white man's shawarma to me. If you have a shawarma craving, this thing could possibly satisfy it :). read more

First timer! Sat on the patio and you couldn't even tell that I-5 was a block away and a big mall and Industrial complex surrounds the place. It's like a little heavenly oasis! I had the asparagus/prosciutto salad and a basil peach mojito! It was delish! My friend had the breakfast pie fold. Everything was top notch quality! The staff was attentive and friendly. Excellent place! I'll be back for sure! read more

Showed up on trivia night - what a surprise! Place was somewhat packed, took about 5 minutes to get seated. Wines were yummy - been searching for someplace that serves decent Pinot noir and Chardonnay in the area. Way to win this one Watershed. Food was good - ordered a pie fold that burnt my mouth (really hot). It was good, may try a full pizza next time. Trivia was fun! We were awful but it was still enjoyable. Service was an abject F, hence the super low review. Had to find the hostess to get help in getting another drink (this is a bar right?!?). The server never visited our table, resulting in a 15 min wait for our check. Seriously poor. Can't decide if I'm coming back. If I do I'll pack an extra bottle of wine in my bag. read more

How could you go wrong? Beer on tap, excellent food, and great service. Definitely worth stopping in. Husband got the Nonna's Meatball sub and he was in love. I got the Caesar salad and the croutons alone were perfect! Thought it was cool that along with their selection of beer, they have a selection of rootbeer too ;) Awesome new addition to the neighborhood. read more

The Watershed takes its name from the Thornton Creek watershed, and it's located immediately adjacent to the site where storm water runoff is beautifully (and cleverly) transformed into the clean south fork headwaters of Thornton Creek. My wife and I live in the south end, but since the first visit a few months ago, we have been continued to be so impressed by the people, the food, and the drink, that we return for lunch once every week. It's our favorite lunch spot in Seattle. Okay, right, the food. If you're convinced that burgers and fries are the perfect pub, well, you won't find them here. No burgers! No fries! What you will find is great food made with imaginative combinations of primo ingredients including locally sourced baked goods from Macrina Bakery and Lake City's Kaffeeklatsch, Beecher's and Appel Farms cheeses, Cascioppo Brothers' sausage, and Mama Lil's peppers. So what's on the menu? A dozen (or more) wonderfully wild pizza varieties, like Culture Shock (chipotle BBQ sauce, Beecher's Flagship, blue cheese, pepperoni, Spanish chorizo, roasted Romas and Mama Lil's pickled peppers). Or you can get the same combinations in piefolds, a Watershed invention made with an oval of their great pizza dough piled with ingredients, folded over, and cut in half to eat like a sandwich. Add a variety of huge grilled beer bread sandwiches, six kinds of mac & cheese, each with its own assortment of goodies you've never had in M & C before, and soups, and lots of delicious pub snacks I won't tell you about. The salads are excellent and creative, like last week's special, the chorizo chickpea chop salad, my all-time favorite (so far)! Lots of garbanzo beans, artichoke hearts, red onion, black olives, cured chorizo, diced Roma tomatoes, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, basil, and Dijon and Caesar dressing on a bed of spinach. AMAZING! Oh, and beer - The Watershed boasts a really broad range of rotating types and varieties of 21 craft beers on tap. I guarantee you'll find some fantastic brews you've never heard of before! And you can always try a taste first. I'm almost done, but I've saved the best for last: The People! Everyone is invariably friendly, helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable about their products. They really enjoy working together, and all including the owners pitch in to help each other. (I especially recommend the server and the bartender regulars at Wednesday lunch). What has particularly impressed me about the owners is their involvement in the community shown partly by their monthly Convergence Series. Each event celebrates a local brewery and raises funds for a community organization. This month (11/28) features Hellbent Brewing Company and North Helpline, a Lake City emergency services provider and food back. Damn, I love this place! read more

I have been going to the Watershed since it opened several years ago. There are at least 5 reasons for the 5 rating. First, the staff and owners are excellent and clearly are dedicated to a great customer experience. They are knowledgeable and friendly. They are ready with helpful suggestions not just about their restaurant but nearby attractions and little things like their movie pass discount. Second, the food is always fresh. I've never had a bad meal and have eaten at the Watershed dozens of times. The hot meals are always hot and the beer is always cold. Third, selection of beer. It is so clear that the owners (Ben and Kelsey) love what they do and have a real passion for it. They are both eager to talk about beers and ales and ciders. Even better, they back up their passion with effort. They are regularly attending different brew events around the PACNW and it shows. Kudos to them for supporting local businesses. Fourth, their special events space upstairs is great for gatherings, sports event watching, post kid or adult athletic event celebrations and even the occasional Game of Thrones watch party. It has a great large screen and speaker set up now and lets you have space without feeling locked away in some overly fru fru space. Fifth, location is fantastic. Perfect for pre or post movie meal or beer, excellent for grabbing a beer with a friend from elsewhere in the city, adult and kid friendly and even has trivia on Tuesday evenings. It is less than 1/4 mile from I-5 (Northgate exit), a block from the Northgate transit center, across the street from the soon to be redone Northgate mall and NHL practice facility and next door to the Thornton Place Theater). Sixth (I know I said five), the Optimus Grind pIzzafold and the mama's lil bacon Mac n cheese are both FIRE (really good for the boomers and gen xers out there asking what FIRE means ). read more

I went there on the 22nd with my family, and the waitress was super sweet. It took a while to get our order. Then, when we ordered our drinks they came back with root beer for my son, but it was supposed to be a rootbeer float. She then came back with a glass of ice cream. Then, we ordered our food, and when we finally got our pizza it was super cold, floppy, and the sauce was super bland. I had to eat it with a knife half way until the end that was pretty tasty. If I tried to pick up the pizza the toppings would slip off the piece. I feel like they forgot about my son's order, and wanted to bring it out all at one time. His food was yummy and hot. read more

My girlfriend and I on vacation with the kids had dinner here last night and had some great pizza and I had the carnitas torta which was awesome:) The owner is the cousin of a good friend of mine and greeted us with smiles. I recommend the watershed. Great people and some really good food. The only downside I would say is its not a very "family" type place .. But when we are back in Seattle we will diffidently return :) Thanks read more

My review begins with the fact that my mom has stage 4 cancer and is undergoing chemo/radiation treatment. When the folks at Watershed found out about my mom through a mutual friend, they delivered a complete meal to my parents' house to feed our extended family for a joyous family dinner. It included a huge 'Shed Picnic salad (for which my teenage daughter, who is not a salad eater, went back for thirds), the Parma and Roma for the adults, and a regular Cheese pizza for the kids. It was the best dinner we'd had together in a long time. Thank you, Watershed. We love you. read more

My wife and I came for lunch. The hostess was very friendly and recommended the Optimus Grind, a pie fold and grinder hybrid. Our server was also very knowledgeable and helpful. I went with Optimus Grind partially because I just wanted to say it. My wife had the Beechers Mac and cheese. The food was delicious. We are picky with quality and we ended up sharing each other's order. We both decided each dish was both delicious and well prepared. My wife also tried a soft pretzel and a raspberry cocktail. The pretzel was crispy on the outside and warm and chewy on the inside. The texture was perfect but we decided it lacked the pretzel taste. Still, it was well done. She also loved her cocktail. read more

Very beautiful entrance graced you arrival, many in our party commented on the beautiful door and fixtures. The interior is heavily decorated with bright and dark woods, and look above to see the beer and cider pulls that adorn the top. We cannot really comment on the service, as we were a birthday party with staff of the Watershed in our group. We had a MONSTER 3 foot pizza of varied toppings, very yummy. The sauce and thin crust were what sold it for me. Their fare is very diverse and thus we grabbed another pizza and salad to take home. Ordered the Caramelle Pancetta and Spring Greens salad, the salad was absolutely amazing, filled with fresh, red strawberries (not the white, flavorless ones) and pickled red onions. The candied walnuts and feta were beyond plentiful :) Had a lovely cider and shared beers, too. Will be back again. read more

I'll pass on coming here again.... Came in on Saturday for a quick meal before a movie. The server greeting is pretty quick and asked us if we wanted to eat or drink (apparently drink is the more popular option), we happily said EAT, we just want a quick bite, were in a rush. Server sits us in the bar area anyway with only drink menus and quickly walks away. I flag him back down and ask for dinner menus, where he actually says 'oh so you do want to eat'. Wow rude!!! It's 10pm on a Saturday mind you and he hands my partner and I their food list, quickly pointing to a small portion of their actual menu (happy hour side) and tells her that's all they have available at the moment - except the top 3 items. So that leaves a pretzel, some nut mix, artichoke dip, pizza slices (but doesn't tell us what kind they are) and hummus. Right. Why do they call this place a kitchen if that's their food offering on a busy Saturday night? Literally just pub snacks, there's nothing that's an actual meal. Anyway, we look over our choices - our server doesn't come back, he's chatting with a member of the band that's setting up. 15 minutes later and he haven't even been given a chance to order a drink so we decide to leave - NOW he comes back, ready to help us. Sorry buddy, we're totally over this place. No one in the section was getting service - loads of empty drinks everywhere and almost no one with food. Granted, this whole review comes down to the worst service I've gotten in seattle but the restaurant itself is neither a pub or a kitchen - and those two words are in their name. Short menu, great beer list but definitely too much of a modern interpretation hipster vibe to be anything like a pub. Funny thing though, even the movie theatre had more available food. Hot dog, chicken nuggets, etc - we had a laugh about that. read more

Hubby and I came here with a Groupon the other day for lunch. We ordered the pie fold (which is like a pizza folded) with roast beef, bell peppers, cheese, and onions, and we ordered a large mac n cheese. There was a mix up with our order and we ended up getting a small and a large mac n cheese but because it wasn't our fault, our server let us take the small mac n cheese home at no charge to us. The pie fold was pretty good. It had a lot of garlic which I loved AND it came with salad which had this lemon poppyseed dressing over it which was YUM. I would recommend~ read more

Excellent pub and grill! I had been here twice before, but my wife hadn't. We were down in the area to catch a flick at the Cinebarre, so we decided to enjoy the Watershed's Happy Hour. Almost everything was amazing! We enjoyed a House Salad, a Soft-Baked Pretzel and a Northwest Cheesesteak 'pie-fold' (think of a couple of slices of pizza folded in half). The pretzel was excellent - we might have even ordered a 2nd one! The Northwest Cheesesteak pie-fold was delicious, just enough for us to share (with its own accompanying salad). The only thing we didn't care for was the Pao de Queijo appetizer - gluten free cheese balls. Those really didn't do it for us. But that was just a small negative awash in a watershed of deliciousness. Service was excellent, the wine selection was good, and the beer selection was great. I think they advertise something like 21 rotating taps. Anyway, every time I've visited the Watershed, they have always had an amazing stout on tap. This time, it was the Big Time Bourbon Breakfast Cereal Killer Nitro Imperial Stout. It was tasty! If you dread getting off I-5 at the Northgate Mall, now you have a reason - the Watershed Pub! read more

Northgate scored with this place. Beautiful interior, pretty solid beer selection. Menu looks like mostly pizza & calzones. It is vegetarian friendly. Their Happy Hour menu was solid. This is my favorite "don't want to cook, let's go out" restaurant. Order: Any pizza. Any Grilled Cheese (House made beer bread, yum!). Farmers Market Specials! (but come later in the week, these will rotate either Tuesday or Wednesday so they might run out early in the week). Drink: Any beer on tap - ask a bartender for a taste of something new if you're not sure, or a recommendation of something delicious - they're knowledgeable and happy to accommodate. Don't stress over: Possible long wait for food - this place is hoppin for good reason and busy busy busy on the weekends! Any food or drink you're not in love with right away - tell your server! The owners are usually around, super friendly, very helpful, and will make sure you get something you love. Definitely: Bring your beer loving friends, or anyone looking for some obscure/local beverage. Call ahead for a larger party - most of the tables accommodate 4-6. Don't expect Budweiser, Coors, or any of those boring old beers! Ask for a Session or a Montucky if you're more inclined towards that kind of thing. Check out their beer pairing/Convergence series dinners/live music on Saturday nights. read more

Food is decent, nothing extraordinary though. I think I would recommend it for beers and cocktails over the food. I ordered the hummus with pretzel sticks and caprese plate. The hummus did not have a lot of flavor and the pretzels were not that fresh tasting. The caprese plate also did not have a lot of taste. I think more vinegar and oil was probably needed. I ordered a cocktail, it was something like a raspberry basil... something.. I wish I could remember the name... It was listed on a table tent. It was really good. Very refreshing.
