We have been hearing so much about Watershed we wanted to give the Saturday brunch a try. Our experience was great! The service was friendly and on point, the dining area and restrooms were super clean, and the atmosphere fostered a genuine happy vibe amongst fellow patrons I had the corned beef hash frittata which was a delight and the best Bloody Mary I have had in ages! read more

I've only tried the tomato soup and grilled cheese so far, but they were both far better than I was expecting (since most restaurants don't put much effort into them)! The combination of Beechers cheese and caramelized onions on the sandwich was lovely. The location is very casual, and the staff very friendly. I'll definitely be back! read more

Been here many times. Pros: Nice beer list, really fun food. Try their pie folds. The Optimus Grind is fantastic! Great Caesar Salad. Cons: Extremely slow. We like the food and beer enough to put up with it, but it really is annoying. For example: We've the only ones in fora lunch and it still takes over 30 minutes for a salad. When it's crowded, it is OMG slow. We've made a sport of watching one of guys in the kitchen see how many times he can pick something up and put it back down again. Then, when he goes on a break, the other guy comes in and does more in ten minutes than the first guy did the entire 40 minutes prior. The management should take a much closer look at who actually does the work here and help them out. They have fun outside seating. It would be nice if they changed out their picnic tables which are usually occupied by only one or two people and used smaller tables so that more could sit outside. UPDATE: I just received a very nice note from the owner saying that they are working on their speed and efficiency. Great to hear and I wish them well! They could turn over many more tables and serve more people that way. Food and beer: 4.5-5 stars. Service is friendly but slow: 3 stars. I would give 4.5 stars if I could, but I'm sure they'll work on speed so they get 5. :-) read more

Simple answer: the food is absolutely incredible and the service is absolutely atrocious. We keep coming back for brunch but you have to go into it knowing you'll wait an hour to get your food, you'll never get a refill, and you'll have track down the server yourself if you need something. Like salt and pepper. read more

This is the best family friendly pizza & (beer for the parents) restaurant in North Seattle. The pizza topped with loads of arugula (The Parma) & the cheese balls (Pão de Quiejo) & most all of the IPAs crush it...best rotating micro-brews that have a very high bar of quality & selectivity. Service is fun & friendly & location (5 min walk through Thorton Place complex to the best movie theater in North Seattle) make it a no-brainer to count on for a great time. read more

Waiting 45 minutes for my brunch order is a bit ridiculous. Then they forgot the cheese when I said no arugula. And you can't order grilled cheese (the whole reason I came here) or pizza bread fold overs during brunch hours... but they serve breakfast/brunch fold overs with the same pizza bread. So I can't get a sandwich?! Lol. Weird. The hostess was a lil too much, needs to turn it down to a 5. And quit trying to stack people on top of each other when you have a completely empty bar area. Don't get pissy when I ask to sit one table over from the already sat people. Surely they don't want me to join their conversation. The service here was moderate at best. My server would rather stand around and conversation instead of checking in with me to tell me why my order is taking so long. Yes, I would like another drink. My cup is empty. It's been empty. Then my food comes, and what do you know... someone else had to bring it because my server is MIA. The vibe here is cool, but you don't have to be so laid back. read more

Great local place. I normally go solo and get a seat at the bar, but I have never had to wait and the food comes out relatively quickly. If you like neither pizza nor beer, this is not the place for you. Beer selection is extensive and local, and it turns over quickly (this is not the place to come if you want to have the same draft beer again and again. The place is known for its pizzas and piefolds (similar to calzones). I am partial to the latter and normally get the Hawaiian Heat or Optimus Grind. Both are delicious. I like the ambiance, which is generally family-friendly (sometimes there are some less filtered people at the bar after 8 p.m. or so), and strangers are willing to strike up conversations but not pushy about it (in fact, I have met many interesting patrons, from watch marketing salesmen to retired professors to a woman waiting for a date with a former Uber driver of hers). It is a low-key but friendly place. read more

I'm from out of town on a business trip for a week but me and ALL my coworkers have came to this bar to unwind! Great staff and the owners Ben and Kelsey are the most down to earth people ever. Tony was our Bartender and was on top of everything. The entire bar never waited for a drink and the he is hilarious!! MUCH LOVE FROM WI!! read more

Great beer list and the best pizza this side of the Mississippi! These guys also partner with various breweries to raise money for a variety of worthy causes and have quite a touch for finding musicians to kick things into gear. I'm also happy to see they protect customers and staff from needless COVID infections by requiring vaccination evidence for indoor dining. I'm a local who really appreciates good food and good people--in fine supply at the Watershed! read more

We've been here a few times and it's OK. They have a nice outdoor seating area so when the weather permits we like to come here. Happy hour here is decent with apps and drink specials. I appreciate the awesome beers they have on tap. I've had some great sours here. The food is OK -- the best thing on the menu is the pizza and I've also had a decent mozzarella, tomato, basil panini. The apps on happy hour special are OK. The pretzel is tasty with the cheese dip. Service is usually fine here and prices are decent. My favorite thing though is the beer selection. Oh and they have discounted movie tickets too -- makes for a great date night. read more

I'm not going to do Watershed justice with this review nor mention everyone that deserves mentioning but man, this place is amazing. First things first, their food is phenomenal. Their award-winning grilled cheese and variations of it are del-ic-ious-o. Their signature pie folds are tasty. Their impressive 20+ rotating beer system is, in short, a work of magic. I don't know how they continuously switch out beers throughout the year. Brian the bartender is the hardest working yet mellow bartender I've ever met. He always has good advice on what to get and is a solid mentor to other bartenders. Tony stood up for me and other customers when a drunk customer threw a glass, and on a separate occasion when a customer drunkenly threatened me. He also works incredibly hard and makes everyone laugh. Speaking of, Jess also puts a smile on everyone's face, customers and staff alike. There's really too many folks to mention but Keeney, Hannah, Luke, the whole kitchen, and server staff really make this place work. Last but not least, Kelsey and Ben's leadership is the glue that keeps this place running strong. I've seen Kelsey stand up for her staff, Ben build bridges with brewing companies around the region, and both of them build community with their Convergence Series, which pairs local non-profits with local breweries to raise money and awareness. Cheers! read more

Watershed is truly an oasis in a desert full of mediocre chain restaurants near the Northgate Mall. First, let's start with the food. I've had the meatball sandwich twice and it was very tasty. It's not the hugest portion in the world, so you might want to order an appetizer. I had a couple bites of the Optimus Grind (with salami, Canadian bacon, peppers) and it was good too. I am also a huge fan of their pizza! Love their thin crusts. If I wanted thick, doughy, disgusting crusts, I'd go to Pizza Hut. I ordered the Mama's pizza, which has peppers, sausage, and fresh baby spinach. Delicious! They're huge, so be prepared to share or take home lots of leftovers. The pretzel bites are just OK. Their "cheese sauce" was not cheesy at all. Seemed like a bland bechamel actually. Watershed also has an excellent selection of craft beer for those who care about that sort of thing (which I don't). read more

Had great potential, but unfortunately failed miserably. Food was mediocre. A $20 pizza better be something to rave about, but fell short of a $12 Papa Murphy's pizza. If you have food specials you tell the customer when they're seated, not when you're *finally* taking their order (we've already changed our mind 3 times by then). Note: If you have an impressive list of beers, be proud of it and recommend a couple. Don't just point at a piece of paper on the table when I ask if you have a hefeweizen on top and say "there's our beer selection." Slow, bad service. Was not the busy time of day, early dinner on a Thursday and there were plenty of empty tables. Servers and wait-staff just walked past our table; the bartender was the one to *finally* come over and take our order. This meant we got one drink and ordered food. There was no "How's everything taste, need anything else?" after the food was delivered. There was no offer of another drink or water, so we ate with empty glasses. The tables on either side of ours were seated after us, waited on, received their food before us, and received a refill or two. When it was time to leave I asked the host who manager was because I wanted to speak with them. He said "well the owner is here, you can speak with him." I said "great, who is he?" He pointed at the kid at the end of the bar, sitting with his two friends watching the Sounders game. This kid had not moved from his two friends the whole time we were there, he was all of 8-10 ft from our table. I figured it was just three guys there to watch a Sounders game a have a couple beers. He had looked over at our table a half dozen or so times, and that's what made me irate: - If an owner of a newly opened restaurant/bar isn't the hardest working employee in the place, that's a bad sign. - If an owner of a newly opened restaurant/bar notices there is a table in the center of his bar, with empty drink glasses (be it beer, water, soda, etc) and their food was just delivered, and isn't flipping out or getting refills himself, that's a bad sign. There were a couple reviewers that also stated they did not receive good service, I wish I read them before we went. With Watershed's desolate location (in between a park-n-ride, and some half-capacity condos) they better have killer food, killer beer, or *THE* game you want to watch or else there's no reason to go there because no one is going to just stumble by. Definitely go somewhere else. read more

The experience that my girlfriend and I had at Watershed when we went there for brunch on Sunday was truly bizarre. As we were parking the car, we were worried that we might have to wait a while if the restaurant was crowded with other brunch-goers. However, once we stepped inside, we were relieved to see that the restaurant was a little less than half full. The hostess said that she'd be back to seat us shortly. We waited about 10 minutes. During that time two groups of diners finished their meals and left the restaurant. There were about 10 tables occupied out of what I'm guessing is about 25-30 tables in the restaurant. We counted one hostess, one bartender, and three servers in the dining area. All the while, we sat patiently on the bench by the door, the cold air rushing over us whenever a group of customers left. After the 10 minutes , the hostess came up to us and said that the kitchen was "slammed" and that we'd have to wait about twenty minutes more. We both did a double take. Here are the immediate questions that came to mind: 1. How is the kitchen "slammed"? The restaurant is huge and there are only about 25 customers. 2. Why won't they seat us? Even if the kitchen is running behind, we could have still been seated and served drinks. That would only take a minute for one of their servers to do. We've never experienced anything like this. It is one thing to be told that the wait is 20 minutes when all of the tables are full and there are customers ahead of you on a list. It's another to be the only waiting customers in a mostly empty restaurant that seems to have plenty of staff working. Clearly, Watershed does not want customers at their brunch. Everyone should oblige them and eat elsewhere. read more

This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I have ever had. I would give this place 1-1/2 stars because the food, when it finally arrived, was pretty decent. But it definitely doesn't deserve 2 stars. We dined here last week prior to seeing a movie across the street. Our movie tickets were for an 8pm showing, our party started arriving at the restaurant at 6pm. By 6:15 we were all there. There were 10 of us. Our food was ordered by around 6:30. We didn't order much--couple of sandwiches, couple of salads, mac n cheese and one pizza. By 7:15, with no food arriving, we were getting very antsy, wondering how much time we would have to eat before the movie. We asked the server what was up with our food, and she kept apologizing and saying the kitchen was backed up and it was always challenging to deal with large tables. We said to just bring out what was ready, but apparently nothing was ready, not even the salad! Our drinks hadn't even been refilled in all that time. Around 7:25, now waiting for almost an hour for our food, we started talking about scrapping the meal, just paying for our drinks and leaving. At that point the server gets another woman involved who we think was the manager who clearly doesn't know how to handle unhappy customers. She said she didn't want us to leave because they didn't want to waste the food they had already prepared (which still wasn't on our table) and they were providing some apps to tide us over. She set down on our table three little bowls of what looked like a cereal and snack mix -- something that is usually free snacks at a bar. Finally our food starts arriving, it's just after 7:30 at this point. It's not all ready, and the last of it arrived about 7:40. The server made another comment about how challenging large tables are, but that it was great we had our food. One person in our party ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and asked for tomato on the side. She was brought instead a ham and cheese sandwich and when she said it's not what she ordered, the server actually had the nerve to tell her that she had pointed to that in the menu--actually telling her what was essentially "you're wrong, you did order this." Our friend said it was too late at this point and to just cancel the grilled cheese order, she no longer wanted it. But her request went unheeded because a few minutes later he grilled cheese sandwich arrived. By the time my food arrived -- mac n cheese -- I only had time to take a few bites and had to pack the rest in a to go box. (For what it's worth, the mac n cheese was really good.) My sister-in-law's salad came out last and while she was trying to scarf it down the manager person was clearing the table around her. She wasn't able to eat much of it before we rushed out to make the movie. It was ridiculous to blame a large party as the reason food took over an hour to make it to our table. What is even more ridiculous is that cereal snacks were expected to make up for that. And gratuity was automatically added! (I understand that is common for large parties but this just added insult to injury.) We quickly paid and left to make the movie on time and only after we got home did we realize that the paltry $10.50 discount on the $200+ bill was the cereal snacks comped on the bill -- we were charged for the snacks we didn't order, and then it was taken off the bill. And the automatic gratuity was calculated on the subtotal, which included the snacks!! Granted, it doesn't add a whole lot, but it does add some, and that's screws the customer. Furthermore, that ham and cheese sandwich that was brought out originally that we didn't order -- well, we were charge for it, which is more expensive than the grilled cheese. I ordered a soup from another restaurant once, and I didn't like it--the server noticed that, and they comped it. Even though they brought me exactly what I ordered. Service like that keeps me going back to that restaurant. It's utterly ridiculous that after our more than hour-long wait for food at the Watershed, all we were given was cereal snacks (that were not good) and actually charged extra because of it. If you do go to this place, order the mac n cheese, it's tasty. But be forewarned if going in with a large party, they can't seem to handle it. read more

My friend and I decided to stop by for drinks on Friday night. It was a beautiful Seattle night and there were spaces on their deck. When we went inside to request seating on the patio, we were told "we are not currently seating outside". When I inquired further, the snippy hostess told me that the server outside was 'overwhelmed' as they just had a party finish and LEAVE, and the also had a rush so the kitchen was backed up, but at soon as the server said it was okay they would start seating outside again. I asked 'when' that would be. The answer was an eye roll and exasperated (at me) "it could be 5 minutes it could 30". We left and went elsewhere. We wanted drinks, not food, but that was never asked. It would have been totally appropriate for her to seat us and then warn us that service would be slow b/c of the situation, but to simply refuse service?!? Also, this pub is next to a movie theater!!?!? If their staff can't handle the ebb and flow of service that comes with 'opening weekends', the management needs to hire better staff. Very disappointed, I park there every day and was thinking it would be a great spot for post work drinks/dinner as well as pre/post movie outings. Clearly they are not interested in return visits. read more

Watershed is a beer bar with a nice tap list of local beers and ciders and decent food. Promising start! Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted for some time then when I finally was, it was a very awkward exchange. The hostess checked back with me twice then came over tentatively again. I said "is the table ready?" and she said "yes, follow me". So we went to a booth. Great! She got waters and menus which is nice. But then I waited 10 minutes without anyone coming back. Servers whisked by without an acknowledgement. FInally, I made eye contact with a server and she said "has anyone helped you?" I said no, not yet, but I'd like to order a drink. She then took my order. I got the impression that my table just wasn't assigned to anyone. I had the Tieton Pumpkin Cider- 8 oz. for $6.50. It was pretty good but tasted like canned pumpkin to me (as opposed to pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread, etc.) We got the pretzel with cheese. Good flavor but it's a very tiny pretzel for $4. The house made cheese is just ok. For dinner, we shared the Optimis Grind and another sandwich. Both were good but not exactly what we were expecting based on the description. They are like pressed pita sandwiches, not like calzones which is more what I was expecting. The experience was all around kind of awkward with the hostess and the servers and a lot of waiting. We were there 2 1/2 hours between waiting to be seated and all of the time in between. It just seemed like everyone who helped us was new to serving. I would come back if someone suggested it but it won't be a place I'm running back to with other pubs I really like a lot in the area for the overall experience (food, drink, atmosphere, service) . It's A-OK but could be great with some adjustments! read more

The reason why the five star is attest more to our server Jean than anything else. She was really sweet and genuinely friendly and hospitable. She came back to check on us exactly the appropriate number of times. (Give her a raise!) This was our first time and while the food was good, I really liked the fact that you could cary on a conversation because this was one restaurant that didn't bombard you with loud music. In fact we had a pleasant conversation and that to me is primo! The spacing was good with a variety of areas to chose from to sit and I loved the greenery outside. I would most certainly return. It was terrific to know that there is now another fine place to eat ad not have to venture miles to find a good eatery. Next time I'll try the Happy Hour as well. read more

I LOVE it here! Everytime I come here I am greeted with smiles! The food is incredible, and the staff is awesome!!! Thank you Watershed!!!!

Loved it. Really. I've driven past here so many times and always thought of stopping in. Tonight was the night. We've been in Seattle for 9 years, searching for our go to pizza place. Growing up on the East Coast we were pizza spoiled and haven't been able to find a decent East Coast type pie here. We have finally found it! The crust is just right, chewy and flavorful, not too thin and not too thick. The toppings are fresh and the sauce is tasty and not overwhelming. The pizzas are huge, definitely not for one person. My husband had the "award winning" grilled cheese and tomato soup which was also very yummy. Great comfort meal ! The rest of the menu looked really good, I'm looking foward to coming back to try some other dishes. Nice rotating tap, even if not the largest selection. The space is warm and comfortable with lots of wood, tvs for watching sportsball, or a collection of board games if you want to play while waiting. I've seen some of the other reviews about service, and maybe it's because it was a Monday evening, but our service could not have been better. Our server Joshua gave us tastings of some of the beers we were deciding between, helped us with menu choices, and just could not have been more on top of things. So glad we came in, definitely won't be the last time. read more

I've been here two times and... meh. The service is slow, so be sure to know everything you want and to order all at once because that might be your last chance for a while, haha. The first time I went my friends ordered two pizzas and they got the sauces and toppings all mixed up, but we decided to just take it considering how long we waited for it to come out. The second time I got the Croque, which was good, but the entire meal took about two hours. There's nothing else on the menu that really jumps out at me... I'm not going to order a cheese plate while I'm out. The menu seems a little "easy." It's an ok place for just getting off work and walking down the block with time to kill, but there are a lot of other places nearby that I'd rather go to for the food, ambiance, and service if I were planning a night out. read more

My boyfriend lives down the street and every time we walk past this place, he says we need to try it but we kept forgetting until last night. Not a bad place, but not the best, either. It was about 7 pm on a Wednesday and it was hot so many customers were seated outside. The outside looked busier than the inside. We were seated right away, and the waitress came over promptly. My boyfriend had a sandwich called the War Pig, which he liked. I had the Optimus Grind which is a take on a sandwich/pizza combo. It's kind of like if you folded a slice of pizza in half and ate it that way. It was tasty! We also both had the pear ginger cider. When I ordered it, I didn't notice the ginger part. I'm not a huge fan of ginger so I didn't love it, but my boyfriend thought it was good and the waitress said it was one of her favorites. One thing I really didn't like (I'm not a huge fan of this at any place) is that the music was playing so loud that I could hardly hear myself think and had to lean into the table to talk to my boyfriend. The prices also seemed a little steep in my opinion. We had two drinks and two sandwiches for almost $50. I probably wouldn't come back to pay that price again for this kind of meal unless it was happy hour. There was a very large selection of brews, so maybe we will be back just for that sometime. 3 stars for service and food. The waitress was nice and there were no issues. 2-2.5 for ambiance and price. Too loud and pretty pricey for what it is, in my opinion. read more

A new place that I think is going to struggle to find purchase. It is an ideally located hole in the wall with little to no competition. However, that's no excuse for laziness. While the food saves this review (an acceptable chorizo pizza); the service was lacking, the beer selection (maybe they have your third or fourth choices) was less than promised, and the ambiance was cheap. There's so much potential on premise. Not to mention the promise of such an ideal location next to the theater and lacking any real competition. This place should be a shoe in for go to. It's sorely disappointing though. Maybe they'll find their footing in the future, for now, I'd say wait. read more

-UPDATE!- I went back today for their HH with a few friends and for some reason, I liked this experience much more (thus adding 1 more star to my og. 3 star rating). We had outdoor seating to enjoy the nice sunny weather and although I didn't order any alcoholic beverages I tried out their food once again. I had their award winning grilled cheese with tomato soup and the artichoke dip. The grilled cheese this time was amazing, bread was nicely toasted and evenly buttered, cheese melted just right, and for some reason.. it had glazed onions which it didn't have last time.... the tomato soup paired with my sandwich was also satisfying even on a hot day. The artichoke dip was just as good, nice flavor, not too salty and not to artichoke-y... haha. The bread that came with the dip however was a bit crunchy, which may not sit well with other customers. Personally I didn't mind it. Overall, much better experience this time. read more

First of all, I am a sucker for real darts, so major points for that off the bat. Secondly, I love a rotating beer/cider list. Thirdly, I love good food. I went to Watershed for their Alpenfire Cider Tasting and GF Food pairings, and what the experience!! For $50 pp (including all taxes, gratuities, food, and generous pourings!!) we were treated to one of the best tasting menus I have had! The staff was generous with the rounds of cider, and Alpenfire is not your run of the mill grown up Martinelli's. Alpenfire uses the finest ingredients like organic apples, and their rep was fun and knowledgeable. The Exec Chef and Team nailed the pairings--crispy cider with Cajun jerk pork--heaven! I was thoroughly impressed with the plating and quality of the ingredients--seemed way above what you may think would be "pub food." My BF and I decided we will definitely be attending all of these pairing events, and I will continue to come check out their robust, diverse beer menu, and play some darts. Check it out, this place has great energy! read more

Took the opportunity to check out this new pub in the 'hood (come on Yelp, this is NORTHGATE, not Maple Leaf!) on their first Friday night open to the public. Location: Parking is ample since it is across from the park n' ride. The fence makes it a pain to walk around, but it's nice to have off-street parking period. Great location for pre or post-movie meals and drinks at Thornton's theater. Atmosphere: They need shades for the west-facing windows stat (BLINDING SUN LATE-DAY! ACK!). Decor unremarkable but clean and simple, seating is overcrowded in the bar so servers have a tough time getting between tables--this will definitely need tweaking. Sound levels very good; could easily hear one another talking, yet still enjoy the music and the bustle of the Friday evening crowd. Definitely felt free to hang out as long as we wanted, seating was comfortable, lighting was appropriately moody without being dark once the sun went down. Food: Menu is disappointingly small. Beer and wine list is good. In a pub like this I expect far more appetizer options--small, quick bites to accompany your brew. They had only two appetizers: basically an uninspired cheese plate and a meat plate. I wish Seattle would forget Beecher's Flagship exists just once. It need not be on every "local" menu. A few salads, a few sandwiches, and large pizzas made up the rest of the menu. Caesar salad was large enough to split as an appetizer or eat as a meal. Salad was poorly tossed (some leaves were sopping, some were dry, chalk it up to a kitchen in a big rush), and they missed one of the requested toppings on our pizza though it was on our receipt at the end of the meal (we had them remove the charge). Pizza was delicious but WAAAAY greasy. I had to ask for napkins to sop up the oil on top and underneath the pizza. Crust is a good doneness, unremarkable in taste. Some truly creative combinations offered and we look forward to trying more. Service: Service was friendly and attentive enough for us--some may have felt neglected but we prefer being left alone most of the time. Beers were kept full, requests were fulfilled in a timely fashion (for their first busy Friday especially). Multiple servers took care of us, whether by accident or design. But it meant we had a mess of a bill at the end--our bill somehow got combined with another bill, and since we had been served by multiple servers, no single server knew what all we had ordered. We had to go over it line-by-line with the server who brought the bill, then she couldn't fix it without a manager getting involved. They are still getting to know their system, so it took around 20 minutes for them to straighten it out--long enough for us to finish our last sips of beer, each take a turn in the restroom, then stand around wondering if the server was ever coming back. Sent the hostess (owner?) to check on the situation, bill finally came back and nothing was comped for any of the mistakes or lengthy waiting--left us with a bit of a sour taste on exiting. Bottom Line: Will definitely be back a few more times to see how the place evolves over time. I don't think it will become a regular watering hole for us unless they introduce more small bites. While we much prefer the atmosphere of Watershed over the chain Stanford's nearby, at least the latter has a fairly robust and cheap happy hour menu where we know we can get delicious smaller plates when we just want a drink and a nosh. But $50+ for four beers, a pizza, and a split salad is a bit steep for us to want to "just drop by" throughout our week. If they add some happy hour specials and/or expand the appetizer menu, it will be a bigger draw for us, and I suspect we aren't alone. read more

Holy moly. I LOVE this place! It's a gem hidden amongst the dull/gross chain restaurants sprinkled around the perimeter of the mall. The owner used to work at the Fiddler's Inn in Wedgwood so they definitely know their stuff! The beer selection is amazing and the food is to die for. Tip: order the Pão de Queijo - these amazing, chewy, delicious cheese balls (they're better than I'm making them sound). You're welcome! On top of all that, the ambience is really cool. It's like cozy industrial chic with carefully selected bar/beer-related décor. Thoughtful, not tacky. Bonus: they have a large upstairs area in case you ever want to get together with a big group! read more

The staff is awesome! Our server Natalie was great and gave us delicious recommendations for both the food and drinks. All of our meals were so good, and the outdoor space is spacious with good seat spacing. You're missing out if you haven't had a pie fold or the mac and cheese! Definitely the best food in the area! read more

In town on business visiting a company located nearby Watershed Pub, and therefore I ended up having drinks/dinner there one day and lunch the next. If I lived in the area it would definitely be in the regular rotation for the friendly atmosphere, interesting menu and great beer list. The area is so cute and Watershed fits in perfectly. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Interesting menu and mix of items. Extensive beer list that is somewhat overwhelming to a person like me, who likes beer, but isn't an afficianado. However, my dining companion is, and tipped me off to which options I'd like and that I could get tasters of whatever I wanted. So that helped narrow down and get me a great beer. The food that I tried was all good - especially liked the chicken saltimboca pie fold even thought it was a little on the salty side. read more

I've been to Watershed several times now. Here's what I think: - AWESOME beer selection! If you're interested in craft beer, this is the place to be. 21 rotating taps of interesting, unique, and usually local brews. - Delicious pizza. They do it right. - Fun event schedule, they have events several times per month! However it's hard to find out this information on their website in my opinion. - The "pie folds" (like an open calzone) are soggy and poorly executed although a great idea. - I was frustrated at brunch that I could not order a grilled cheese at 12:30 PM. Also the hashbrowns are gross. - Service is not always great. There's a bartender I've frequently received service from that could use a reboot. Some of the staff just seem confused and distant....I once asked a waitress what their signature "beer bread" was and she did not give me a clear answer. I still don't know, but it's good! I will keep going back to Watershed as I am so obsessed with their beer selection. It's different every time I go in, so I love to experiment. I LOVE their grilled cheese sandwich and pizza, so I will stick with what I know to be delicious. read more

My family and I ended up here before a movie because we wanted to try something new in the area. We arrived at the restaurant 1.5 hours before our showtime so we could have dinner and get decent seats at the theater. After ordering food for two adults and two kids, we all waited 45 minutes before our server to even come and see how we were doing. No food. No water refills. No "I'm sorry we have a bunch of people ordering food right now." We tell her that we are about to leave to a movie and she said she would speed things up. Another ten minutes later, we have food. It's not good food, but it's food. The kids got a side of fruit with their meals that looked like it was served out of a can. The brussel sprouts were hard. I make better food than this at home. Everything was bland and poorly cooked. When I go out to eat, I expect to eat better than I do at home. If you every find yourself around this movie theater looking for food, skip the watershed. It's horrible. There is really good ramen, Thai food, and even conveyer belt sushi that would be so much better than this place. read more

My friends and I have been here twice now, and we are definitely fans. It might be more accurate to say the neighborhood is Northgate instead of Maple Leaf because it's about a block south of the mall's movie theater. In any event, the beer selection is good -- esp. if you're an IPA lover -- and the spring cocktails are tasty: so far we tried the Vitamin Gin and the Basil Gimlet. The food itself is good, but a little overpriced here and there. Not a lot, just a little. Two pretzels for $7? That feels like a lot. Last week I had the meatball sandwich which was VERY good - but on the seriously small size. As in, I'm not sure I've ever seen a meatball sandwich this small! Last night we had the ricotta pizza, which was delicious, and for $21 (large) was perfect for four of us and priced just like everywhere else. Thin crust (foldable!) and really good. Definitely going back for that. On top of the lovely cocktails, good beer, yummy food, excellent service (thank you Janna!), and atmosphere that does not lend itself to you thinking you're in/near a mall, the music they played -- at least last night -- was the best! We Gen Xers loved the selection of alternative classics from about 1994 - 1999. Already looking forward to going back. It's wonderful to have another decent, independent pub in the area. read more
