A great celebration place! on Lake Washington facing north the views cannot be beat. Service and food are excellent.

Came here last night to celebrate my wife's birthday and we had an absolute blast. Foremost, the water view was absolutely stunning and the décor was a good choice. For our appetizer, we ordered the calamari and the Korean wings which was a HUGE disappointment. Being Korean, I was a bit too excited to see a Korean inspired wing on the menu. The wings had absolutely no flavor other than being marinated in soy sauce and IT WAS SALTY. I mean SALTY! The calamari had one of the oddest textures I have ever eaten as it was fully cooked but still soft and had the same consistency as a mochi donut. On to the positive. We ordered the salmon and cod and it did not disappoint. Everything on both plates were cooked perfectly and visually beautiful. It is so unfortunate that we didn't get to taste the delicious fish with all of its flavoring. I mention this because the wings were so salty that it ended up ruining our taste buds for the other food. I didn't want to complain about the wings or calamari because it was my wife's birthday but I highly suggest staying away from those two menu items. Go for both the fish dishes though! Honestly the breakfast just overpriced and in my opinion not worth it, view was nice .not completely something that I consider fancy buffet just overpriced buffet with not much seasoning breakfast. If I could give them 0 starts I would. We made reservations almost 2 months ago, and they did not want to seat us on the patio at first, but I made it clear we made reservations for the patio over 2 months ago. After waiting 15 minutes we had to request a waiter to come over to us. We were only on our first mimosa and the waiter Mark made it clear he will not over serve us... which we are in our 30s and can handle one mimosa. He came off aggressive and not friendly. Once again we had to request our waiter after 30 minutes to take our food order. He then notified us that we received a noise complaint but never said anything to the table of 9 next to us that had 4-5 kids that were wrestling in the corner (which was actually disturbing us, but we never made it an issue). Weird vibes, poor service (our waiter never checked in on us, unless we had to request him) and subpar food. 3/4 of us our waitresses/bartenders, so I guess we just expected more from the Hyatt. read more

This place is one of my top choices for a classy brunch spot. I've been here several times now and today is my first time for breakfast on a weekday. We loved it! We had a great table with an excellent view of the water. The restaurant wasn't packed at all vs the weekends... I really liked that. I always receive the best customer service at this restaurant. We had a great and friendly waitress today. She made sure our coffees were topped off. I love the quality of their breakfast dishes and pretty good portions. My daughter's kid menu dish was huge and had added fruit even though the menu didn't mention it. What a treat! I ordered their yogurt with granola & fruit. It was amazing!! My second time here and absolutely loved it. The views are spectacular and a new hidden gem in Renton. You can sit indoors or out, and both times, I've chosen outdoors. The service is fabulous. Water is constantly refilled. I'm a waterholic. My first time here, I ordered parsnip chips (out of this world!!), and vegetable stew / soup. These are staple pieces and great options for vegetarians. I was on a cleanse / detox, and these suited my needs. My second time here, we went all out with trying comfort food. Starting the bruschetta (ricotta is so good), to halibut fish and chips (fries were mouth-watering), ending with Mac and cheese (Beecher's cheese, yum!) The service was fantastic. I don't recall the last time I ate the exact same breakfast 3 days in a row! However, as soon as I tasted the smoke salmon on the everything bagel at the Water's Table restaurant on the ground floor, I knew I would be back at least 2 more times! The smoked salmon was very tender, nicely seasoned and, as you can see from the photos, a generous amount of salmon each day on the bagel! We were celebrating our engagement with family and they gave us a great table with a view. They also accommodated my mother who asked to put the sun shade down (she's had melanoma twice and scared of the sun). At the end of our meal our waitress delivered a dessert and two glasses of wine to congratulate our engagement on the house. This place has the best lake view of any restaurant in the Puget Sound area. Simply breathtaking. The ambiance was nice. We went early and there were couples and families. We came by for weekday breakfast and asked to sit outside. it was open, with just a sun shade that they lifted for us, and many heaters keeping the temperature perfect on a cold november morning. there is also a basket of blankets available if you need one. our waitress was very friendly and took great care of us. we ordered the breakfast sandwich which was a very large delicious portion. the ricotta pancakes were amazingly creamy and delicious, served with a fruit compote. and the avocado toast with poached egg, absolutely beautiful. overall a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful view and perfect ambience both inside and out - don't write it off cause it's in a hotel! read more

We had dinner here for a Yelp event and were really impressed with the beautiful view, the quality of the food, and the professional manner of the waitstaff. We were seated out on the patio where we got to enjoy the most breathtaking sunset over the water. I can't wait to bring the husband back so that I can stare lovingly at him in the romantic light while he completely ignores me and plays games on his phone..it will magical. The inside of the dining room is also very nice with gorgeous lighting and unbeatable views of the water. We sampled some various items off the menu which they were able to modify as gluten free for me. I really enjoyed the ribeye, charcuterie board, and the potatoes. We were still hungry after sampling and everything was so good, we decided to get the beet salad which was well dressed and tasty and the skuna bay salmon which was the best dish of the night. The protein was just perfectly cooked and seasoned and all of the accoutrements were spot on. Gf was relatively straight forward, although they dont offer any special gf bread or pasta options and there are no dedicated fryers. I did really appreciate that they were willing to make substitutions though. Looking forward to our next adventure here with gorgeous views and delish salmon noms. read more

Bottomless Mimosas are the only way to start a sunny Sunday and no better place to do that than Waters Table! Went here just for the bottomless mimosas but actually ended up also enjoying the food. The fried chicken and french toast with Woodinville Whisky Maple syrup and hot sauce infused butter hit the spot. They also allow you to cycle through all four flavors of mimosas (Orange, Grapefruit, Pineapple, Cranberry) which is worth trying out every single one. Love this place for many reasons. 1.) There is awesome views of Lake Washington and an outdoor patio 2.) You can valet your car and get 2 hour validation 3.) The happy hour is great! One of the earliest starting happy hours around too as it lasts from 2:30-5:30. 4.) Many choices and assortments of drinks 5.) Good food! I had the WT Burger and also Mac and Cheese. Both yummy. Tried the walnut shrimp and that was really yum too 6.) Servers, bartenders and hostess have always been very nice to me and smiley. I like happy people who do their job with pride 7.) The views are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, that's the extent of the good things I have to say. I live local and wanted to visit because I was expecting this to be my new group dinner spot for work events. Got there at 7:15 and got sat at 7:20. Immediately ordered the bone marrow because I went in already knowing my order. Didn't get my bone marrow until 8pm!! The waiter knew after I ate some bone marrow I was going to order my meal. 8:15 I order Caesar salad and chose to add on salmon for an extra $23(high priced but was ok with it). Didn't get my Caesar salad until 8:55...the restaurant was not busy mind you. On top of that, my $23 salmon was TINY. This is what frustrates me most about this experience is how ripped off I got. Hopefully you can tell in the photo, but it was the same size as the lemon half. And it was dry as if someone forgot about it. There was also a ton of Parmesan, but that's not a big deal as I could remove some and keep what I wanted. Finally paid my bill at 9:25 and left disappointed. I sat down at the bar 1hr before they closed the restaurant and 30 minutes before they closed the kitchen. I sat at the bar because that's where the best service usually is but not tonight. I sat there patiently for 10+ minutes knowing that they were cleaning and multiple bartenders walked by and ignored me. The girl bartender walked by, look and walked away then the host finally came by after 10+ minutes of sitting at the bar and asked if I had been greeted yet. When I told him that none of the bartenders had greeted or taken my order, he ended up taking my order. For a restaurant this nice to ignore a customer an hour prior to closing is inexcusable. I ordered the Wagyu burger medium which came out well done and an old fashion which was good but a little on the sweet side. After the food was dropped off by another server, not once did the bartenders come by to ask me about the food nor to refill my water. I was expecting much better service than what I received. The bartender only came by to drop off the water, old fashion, utensils and a check. This is by far the worst service I've ever had at a bar. Is this the new standard of service? read more

Amazing views, food and service! Nancy took very good care of us outside on the terrace overlooking the water. Scallops were cooked to perfection and shrimp linguine tasted homemade. We arrived by boat and they offer 3 hours of complimentary dock parking. I think they also offer complimentary car parking while dining, but I'm not sure. Great view, attentive server, and flavorful food! We stayed at the hotel with a group on the 4th of July and really enjoyed ourselves having dinner here. The 6 adults were on one end of the table on the patio, and the 6 kids on the other end. Our server was excellent! Not once did he make us feel like our kids were a burden. Us adults had cocktails and really enjoyed our food. I do have to say that the cocktails were weak. Cute, but weak. I ordered chicken wings, a cheeseburger cooked medium rare with a salad, chicken pesto pasta, chicken with veggies, and a kid's chicken fingers with fries. Everything was amazing! We went to Hyatt to enjoy a drink and food at the dock but arrived late as it was closing. No big deal. But, if you get a chance enjoy a drink dockside. It's a nice experience. Since we wanted to get a bite to eat We went upstairs to Water's Table and couldn't have been more disappointed. We opted to sit at the bar since it was wide open. From there our experience went downhill. Though the restaurant dining crowd was thinning out, and the bar was adequately staff it took well over ten minutes for any bar staff to greet us or ask us for a drink order or food order. We had to request service ourself from a bartender who was talking to a passing server. Once we ordered, the food came out fairly quickly and was good, not special considering the price. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts ($15.00) and the Snake River Farms Wagyu Burger ($29.00). We asked that the burger be cut in two since we would be splitting it. While eating and talking to an out of town guest who was seated next to us we again had to flag down a bar tender to ask for another wine since no one bother to inquire if we needed anything else After we finished we requested our check and reviewed it and noticed a $3.00 charge for "cutting the burger in two and serving it on two different plates." Really, Hyatt Regency!!! I get your brand is upscale and you have a nice location but isn't this charge and little ridiculous and a little greedy on your part. As for my review: Try the Dockside for the view but Water's and Table......I'll give it two stars for its poor service, average food, and ridiculous service charge. read more

But incredibly expensive for the amount of portions they gave us for our entrees it was almost impossible to be full from our food everything we ordered came out to only 2 bites of us finishing them entirely.
