This was the breakfast place in the Hyatt. Food was very good. We got the American breakfast and the eggs Benedict. Honestly a very solid brunch place. It's a per order brunch place and not a buffet. Quick service. Very nice seating next to the water.

    Salmon salad. Very tasty.

I ate here twice the week I was in town for work. Both times I got the Salmon Salad, both times it was amazing. The salmon is cooked perfectly and the almonds, mangos, strawberries and dressing with the greens was YUM. Healthy(ish) and oh so tasty. The second time I ordered the Creme Brulee, which was perfect. I make this at home a lot and can say I have had very few times when I am out that they make it better than me. This is one of those times. This was the perfect place to eat and the Salad I highly recommend. So if in the area come in for a yummy salad.

Service is excellent, and there are plenty of great menu items to choose from. With beautiful views of the campus and lake, this restaurant is a good choice for lunch at this hotel. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and spinach soup of the day. The spinach soup was very bland and watery and thus difficult to finish. The salmon salad, however was delicious. I would have liked more veggies on it though. Overall, an average lunch! Give it a try and enjoy the views.

Great choice for breakfast hidden in the Hyatt lodge inside the Hamburger University campus. Setting is on the gorgeous lake that has the Frank Lloyd Wright vibe. Restaurant is counter service and the bring the food to your table. I had the omelet which was excellent. Our order arrived very fast and was correct. Price is reasonable with a great value. Location is A little hidden so look out for the. Hyatt lodge and park in the lot across the street.

Beautiful views, food was good, but it was cafeteria style ordering. Blueberry pancakes were really delicious!

A gathering of ex-coworkers always means two things: great belly laughs and constant tea flowing…read more Pair that with good food and ACTUAL good tea, and you've got one for the books! We tried several things from this cafe, and everything was phenomenal, but there was one thing that was beyond all the stars, but here's a breakdown of it all: Potato Savory - so basically if you're looking for chaat, this is it. They call it savory, we call it chaat, but in either case, you can tell this isn't something pre-made and slapped into a bowl. The veggies were crunchy, not soggy. The chutney was sharp, but not overwhelming. And all the condiments and veggies and chickpeas together made a cohesive dish, well balanced. Definitely recommend. 8.5/10 Chicken Club Sandwich - this sandwich is....a LOT. In a good way! The pulled chicken is seasoned well. It's massive and there is a lot of flavor in each bite. This gives Chai Ho Jai (Naperville) a definite run for its money. 9/10 Filli Chicken Seasoned Flatbread - we tried this one second, and my God, it's a definite 10 out of 10! 10/10. Dynatime Chicken Flatbread - okay, so we tried this flatbread first, and I thought it was a 10/10, but then I tried the other flatbread and realized this was a definite 11/10! Lacha Melt Chicken - this was great, very akin to a quesadilla with a paratha. Unique concept, yes, but not my favorite thing here. And yet, well seasoned and delicious. 8/10! Pistachio Latte (Iced) - this was a stand out. This latte was SO delicious, I got one - everyone took a sip, and then we ordered more! Sooooo goooooooood!!!! 10/10! Now let's get to the STAR OF THE SHOW: The FRIES - the fries that came with all the entrees were hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The perfect specimen for a fry. Add to that the lovely spice powder sprinkled on top of them - they are delicious, melt in your mouth, and in addition to being the perfect accompaniment to the food, they're absolutely great all on their own! 100/10! Definitely recommend this place - the ambience and the service are both absolutely great. As long as the taste of the food remains consistent and this place remains clean and hospitable, this is going to be one of the top notch places in the area. Don't overcrowd the menu, either, it's perfect as it is!

The tv also had some random first person view of walking in a third world country which was strange - come bro play some Shah Rukh Khan music at least! The customer service is fast and friendly. We ordered the following items: - Masala Paneer Flat Bread - Chicken Dynamite Flat Bread - Paapdi Chaat - Chicken Shawarma Bowl - Butter Chicken Bowl - Chicken Dynamite Sandwich - Masala Fries - Zafrani Chai Honestly the taste wasn't there for me the fusion of Chaat with pizza and burger is not it. Overall mid experience :/

The Lombard location is floor to ceiling windows throughout, letting in natural light. This location is very spacious and has plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor). It is not cramped at all. There are several places for great photo ops too. Service throughout was great. The staff member that assisted me was very helpful and friendly. He may have been the only person there and he was able to keep up with the constant influx of customers. I got a hot Yemeni chai as my drink and it was creamy, bold, and flavorful. MOTW's chai is my favorite when compared to other Yemeni shops. It is sooooo good!! For food I got a samosa empanada which was very tasty. I appreciate that they warmed it up for me too. There is an up charge for sauce, which I did get. The spicy aioli paired very well with the samosa empanada. I believe the empanadas are from savory crust.

I requested our group to be placed in a corner since we were dining in with 2 kids and an infant who would be sitting in a stroller. She had said they were fully booked and a different party needed the table I was eyeing since they would be coming in with 3 strollers. I was there from 9am-11am on a Friday and it was not packed nor did a family use the table I wanted while I was there. No one came in with 3 strollers either. Aside from that, I was trying to be helpful so the stroller wouldn't get in the way of customers and wait staff. The host basically made it harder for them, not me. I started with the hazelnut oat mocha and this was delicious. This was the highlight of my time there. For food I tried the Shakshouka and it was not good. The pouched eggs were not cooked. From my pictures - it looks like the eggs were cracked in the dish and the chef called it a day. I didn't chance eating it, I ate the pita it came with and left very hungry. I'm giving Beatrix a generous 2 due to the space being beautiful and my latte being great. Unfortunately this is not a spot I'll be returning to.

Probably the slowest I've had at a coffee shop. It took over an hour for my latte to be ready. The pastries then took an additional 20 minutes after that. They also got my friend's pastry order wrong so she had to wait even longer. Additionally it was extremely hot inside the cafe. Most people were complaining about how toasty it was. I did feel the AC kick in maybe 5 mins prior to leaving. I tried a seasonal drink - Ube latte. I didn't taste the Ube at all, + I didn't taste any type of the espresso. It just tasted like milk. For the pastries I tried the guava pastry and a cheese empanada. Both were bland and underwhelming. CFS is pricey - the quality, service, and atmosphere did not live up to how expensive it is.

Pretty sure it healed my soul right away. Taste wise, super smooth. Nice and hot. Had light cinnamon notes that show up after a sip. Not overly sweet either, which I liked. Creamy texture, almost like melted chocolate but lighter. They even did latte art on top and served it in this artisan cup. Looked way too nice for something I was about to destroy in five minutes.
