This is the restaurant inside the Hyatt Lodge! We were staying at the hotel and it was a convenient lunch while we didn't want to leave the property (the parking is a bit of a stroll so we have to COMMIT if we're leaving the property). My partner was able to run down to the restaurant and order to go in order to bring back to the room, but there's plenty of other cute places we could've taken it on the property to eat. The staff got the order cooked up fast so that was such a blessing!! Food was piping hot and fresh, fries were well seasoned. Was not my favorite type of chicken tender (weird breading style but so be it). The big kicker though was that it's quite pricey for what it is, we probably could've gotten a much more elevated meal off the property just a short drive away if we did leave the property. Otherwise good in a pinch! read more

This was the breakfast place in the Hyatt. Food was very good. We got the American breakfast and the eggs Benedict. Honestly a very solid brunch place. It's a per order brunch place and not a buffet. Quick service. Very nice seating next to the water. read more

I ate here twice the week I was in town for work. Both times I got the Salmon Salad, both times it was amazing. The salmon is cooked perfectly and the almonds, mangos, strawberries and dressing with the greens was YUM. Healthy(ish) and oh so tasty. The second time I ordered the Creme Brulee, which was perfect. I make this at home a lot and can say I have had very few times when I am out that they make it better than me. This is one of those times. This was the perfect place to eat and the Salad I highly recommend. So if in the area come in for a yummy salad. read more

Service is excellent, and there are plenty of great menu items to choose from. With beautiful views of the campus and lake, this restaurant is a good choice for lunch at this hotel. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and spinach soup of the day. The spinach soup was very bland and watery and thus difficult to finish. The salmon salad, however was delicious. I would have liked more veggies on it though. Overall, an average lunch! Give it a try and enjoy the views. read more

The people who work here are so friendly! That is a big plus when you're dining at a hotel restaurant. We had breakfast and lunch here. Breakfast was no good. The waffle that we ordered tasted like it came from a box, and it was almost $12. This is the price just for a single waffle with some berries on it. No -- that's not acceptable. The coffee was fine, but the price of breakfast as a whole put a bad taste in my mouth. Lunch made up for it, though. I ordered a BLT, which came with a fried egg in it. It was so good! It was probably one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. This wonderful sandwich is why I'm giving this hotel restaurant four stars instead of three. If you are looking for a quiet location overlooking a man made lake/pond, then this place is for you. They have a nice selection of salads, deli sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and specials. This restaurant, and the other restaurant, are located in the basement of The Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Office Campus. If you self park, then you just have to cross the road and there is an entrance door, directly to the restaurants so you do not have to go up to the reception area and then back down the stairs. Our sandwiches were served with either fries or chips and a very large, very delicious dill pickle. You order at the cashier, you are given a number, then you find a table and your food is delivered in very short order. Indoor and outdoor seating available and all menu items are available for carryout. Wonderful place away from the mall. read more

Great choice for breakfast hidden in the Hyatt lodge inside the Hamburger University campus. Setting is on the gorgeous lake that has the Frank Lloyd Wright vibe. Restaurant is counter service and the bring the food to your table. I had the omelet which was excellent. Our order arrived very fast and was correct. Price is reasonable with a great value. Location is A little hidden so look out for the. Hyatt lodge and park in the lot across the street. read more

The view, especially outside on the lake, is relaxing and scenic. There's swans swimming around and lots of trees. However the lunch and dinner menu is (as often mentioned) quite limited - its basically hamburgers and few sandwiches. The fare is good, not great. The service is average, not especially friendly. The cocktails are OK, not special. If it were not for being able to eat outside on the terrace enjoying a peaceful afternoon, the restaurant would actually be disappointing. If you go there, realize that its just (probably overpriced) lunch sandwiches in a pleasant setting. read more

With no clear signing this place is hard to find as it is inside the complex (right next to the Hyatt, but the Yelp app has it marked pretty accurately. We had to park down the road from the door, which was no big deal but hoping we happened upon the actual restaurant felt like we where relying on chance. But alas we found it and at 1st impression it was pretty swank, water front view nice decor. We grabbed a table, then realized oh wait the reviews! we had to walk over to the counter (McDonalds style) Place a order and take a number take a number and have a seat at a table of our choosing... Ok no biggie I can deal with that we ordered our food one panni chciken I believe and a turkey melt on a pretzel bun. two drink total $26.00 There were no rest rooms immediately available, one has to go to the hotel lobby the food came out in in an acceptable amount of time but it was really just glorified fast food pretty bland and I am pretty sure the fires where the same they carry at McDonald's . Given the price location and quality of food I will not be going out of my way to return here, if I had a company paid meal and I was staying at the hotel I might opt to dinner here again otherwise I am a shuffling off somewhere else. read more

We had the breakfast included in our stay, so we ordered the short rib hash (comes with perfectly poached eggs, rye toast and hollandaise sauce) and a sausage & asparagus frittata, which comes with hash browns and toast. For beverages we enjoyed the mango, coconut, and pineapple smoothie and mocha, all free with our room. Pretty great value and we really enjoyed the food, which can be taken to go. read more

The food was really good. It has a cafe delicatessen feel to it. The dinning setting is a little upscale for the menu selection. But the food came out in a timely manner and was hot. The wait staff was professional and polite. We enjoyed a quiet evening with good food. We will eat here again during our stay at the lodge. read more

Water's Edge is on the McDonald's HQ campus. It overlooks a small lake/pond, and it really is a beautiful view. Their sandwiches are great, I like the chicken sandwich with avocado, and their turkey sandwich is good too. You don't have to work there or be there for a meeting to get into the restaurant, it's open to the public. It's off the beaten path, kinda hard to find if you're not familiar with the campus. read more

This restaurant is inside the the Hyatt Lodge on the McDonald's campus which is located on serene grounds. Their breakfast is delicious. We had oatmeal with pecans, dried fruits, milk, honey, and cinnamon. My boyfriend had pancakes with orange zest marmalade which was fantastic! Great service and restaurant overlooks a beautiful lake. While the ambiance is great and the staff friendly, the food is terrible. The egg dishes are overly greasy. I was trying to be heathy and order a egg white frittata but it was drenched in grease. The whole wheat pancakes were gooey, pasty, and we could not eat them. Very disappointing as I was expecting more based on the reviews....edited this review 5 minutes later-the manager just came by to see how thugs were we said pancakes were not good and the manger was very friendly and honest saying they were working on them. He took them off our bill. So, I have upped rating from 1 to 2 stars due to their effort in trying to please but they are going to have to change their recipes for their food to be good. read more
