Do not be fooled by the pretty lights and fountains. The service was terrible and the food was even worse. The bread felt like it was microwaved and the drinks were watered down. Ordered a ribeye steak and it looked like it was from Walmart and had no flavor and was over cooked. The sides were cold too. This restaurant is all show and no substance. My family was visiting relatives in the area and we were taken to dine at this fine establishment. We had a party of 19 and were seated in our own little area with our own exit door! I guess it would inconvenient for them to have us all exit at once and pass the whole kitchen and other patrons. I ordered the lobster special which included 1 lobster with two sides (vegetable of the day and starch). I opted for the broiled broccoli instead of grilled beans. The broccoli was a little under seasoned. I had a large baked potato which came with some sour cream and butter. The other options for starch were sweet potato, scalloped potatoes and French fries. All of this was just for $23.99 which was a decent price for fresh lobster. This restaurant is no red lobster. It's much fancier, the quality of food is a lot better and the service is top notch. This is still one of favorite places in Naples for dining. When given the choice of where to celebrate my birthday, this is the place I choose. The crab stuffed shrimp is often my choice but they have other dishes I love also. The servers are competent and attentive. The maitre-d', Patrick, really stays on top of everything. He stops to check on diner satisfaction. If he sees a problem, he fixes it quickly. I like the small, cozy bar area as a place to meet for a drink before dinner. Nice jazz in the background. I saw someone get a dish that was set on fire and I thought it was fish, but he explained that was actually cheese. Of course, we ordered one and it was very good. The wine is advertised from Napa and it's from northern hemisphere not Napa. Paid $70 a bottle and it's $21 on Vivino. This restaurant is operating on autopilot. I called back and first lady I talked to was great! The owner took the phone and said he took my order and I did not order what was missing. I read to him my order, he argued with me and hung up on me!!! I called back, I asked for district manager, he said lady. I'm the owner. I replied then you should know better to hang up on a customer. I spent $200 on my meal and tipped $40. I don't expect this kind of customer service, I got hung up on again!!!! This is a great place with incredibly good service. It appears to be a far more "local" location which makes it even more appealing as you do not have to interact with tourists. I had the coconut shrimp which was great. It is well known for great prime rib (although I do not eat Prime Rib.. it is known for that). I ordered by phone for a pick up of 2 meals I was told they would be ready for pick up at a specific time when I arrived on time the woman at the desk told me the pick up time would be in 20 minutes. I waited patiently when I went back in to pick up I had to wait 15 more minutes until the woman at the desk checked the kitchen & finally went to the kitchen to get my take out food. Waste of my time! I arrived home and it was not my order nothing was in the bag I ordered! After all that they gave me someone else's order. Also got the baked shrimp with crabmeat. Told it was jumbo shrimp but they were small. Broccoli was bland. Service was great again, different waiter this go around. We did curbside pickup tonight that they set up during covid lockdown. It was very easy and orderly and the food was delicious. I had googled the restaurant and chrome showed a pickup option. I am so disappointed. First - and this is not necessarily a mark in the restaurant but definitely an annoyance for me - I go to Florida to visit my 90 year old grandmother and 70 year old mother, both have difficulty getting around. Naples has a high population of similar individuals. I can't afford to take the chance on a place that doesn't take reservations. Next - the food was terrible. The incredibly expensive prime rib was 10oz (6 oz meat and 4 oz of grizzle/fat) it was disgusting. Dessert was ok but it seemed they we're more concerned about the size of the dessert proportions than the quality. Our server was nice but kept coming back and telling us the order he was going to do things. I don't need to know that you're waiting on my drinks before putting in my appetizer order. Which was said to us a few times. Overall though the server was trying and was nice They have outdoor seating but it faces a busy road. For what our bill was and the quality of the food - no thanks. read more
