ROSARIO S. CASSATA AT LAKE PARK DINER IN FOUNDERS SQAURE IN NAPLES FLORIDA.
Rosario S. C.

Lake Park Diner at Founder's Square is not your average diner as one might expect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As you enter the Diner it features a Main Menu displayed on the wall with all the choices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are many options available, including appetizers, salads, burgers, paninis, children's selections and more. You place your order, receive a number, and then find a table or booth where your food will be delivered to you. We started off with deviled eggs, followed by a California panini and a burger accompanied by sweet potato fries. All the food was delicious, and the shakes look delicious.

Big fans of the original Lake Park Diner, we were excited to try out their newer location in North Naples. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This Lake Park Diner is located in a newer shopping center and also features outside and inside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered dinner online to-go and everything was hot and fresh on time (took about 20 mins). We ordered a half rotisserie chicken with mac and cheese and chicken soup, a pimento cheese sandwich with fries, and a california panini with mixed green salad. Everything was cooked perfectly, but the star of the show was Lake Park Diner's signature rotisserie chicken. No Lake Park Diner meal is complete without one of their creamy shakes, so we ordered the caramel and strawberry flavors. Our shakes were sweet and the perfect end to a great meal.

This is the first time I have been to Lake Park diner at the Founders Square location. Relative to the original diner closer to downtown Naples, I found this location have similar quality food but just slightly different atmosphere. Both locations have very good service but the vibe and venue is different. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The original location had more of a picnic table restaurant feel, with a great outside. This location was more of an upscale casual counter deli feel. It has a good size indoor restaurant and a big indoor/outdoor bar[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Both have very good service and food. Not upscale venue but good comfort delicious food. Depending

I have family members who really enjoy this place, and I can see why. They have some nice items, and everything I tried tasted nice. The staff were all very warm and friendly. Where it fell a little short for me was they charge full service prices but you order at the register just like at a fast food place like Five Guys. And when you pay, the tip suggestions are also like full service (15%, 20%, and 25% if I recall correctly) but I am getting a self service experience except they drop the food off at your table. It's a nice place with good food, but if I am going to pay (and expected to tip) like a full service restaurant I personally would prefer to go to a place where i enjoy the full service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating (especially booth) was also very limited for a party of four.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would never discourage someone from supporting this business, but I am not sure I will personally be back.

Caramel milkshake

I've always had a good experience but I was really taken back by the to go milkshake order. It was $7 and it's not even close to full. One had whipped cream and one didn't and still they're both pretty empty for $7.

I could have done more research before choosing this spot for dinner. The food was better than I expected, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the music was much louder, and why was there a bar? Florida, are you okay? Aren't hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes enough to make you happy? Why would need alcohol too?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was mortally offended by the neon sign of a hamburger that used yellow for the dressing (could have been red for ketchup) and red for what was clearly cheese (should have been yellow).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Besides that, hubby's prime rib French dip handheld was good, and even I thought the fries smelled delicious. I enjoyed my Brussels salad with salmon, especially the lemon vinaigrette.

I love this place. I go at least once a month, you can always expect great service and amazing food. I love the way the dinner works! I would love to see more options but other than that I got no complaints.

This is my second time trying Lake Park Diner, first time in this new location. This location has nicer interior and exterior decor and a bit more spacious when compared to the Downtown Naples location. Food here is great and the staff were friendly. They have a bar area and outside seating as well.

Salad was really big! I will say that this is the best milkshake I've ever had (added a shot of baileys ). The girl at the counter taking our order didn't seem very knowledgeable when asking about cocktails. They could use some fabric as it was a little loud and echo-ey in there.

Walking in the place looked nice and new, food was tasteful and got it out quickly, will definitely recommend for a fun spot to come with some friend or great for a date night when you don't wanna get all dressed up but have a good atmosphere.

We decided to go with the shrimp cocktail and mahi tacos on corn tortillas. There are also plenty of gluten free options which is nice. Lots of restaurants only have flour tortillas so it was nice having options. We split both items as we were looking for a little afternoon snack. I also had an Arnold Palmer surfside. My new fav vacay alcoholic beverage. This place is lively and lots of TVs to keep up with your fav sport team. It's also a Seminole bar (go gators). I won't hold it against them. Lol. Also a huge wrap around bar and even outdoor seating if that's your preference.

I was going to order the calamari and 6 oysters. Putting north of $30 for supper. One of the people in the party ordered a smash burger, and I thought, what the heck, I'll order that. Pretty good burger. For those who like to drink under a thatched roof outside, there is a tikki hut. The establishment's motif is all over the map. But let's just stay with the island theme in Naples, FL. Would I go back again? I don't know, I have had this book marked, and I have eaten at another of their establishments, Sonny's. They do not have the same menu. I like that.

Google knew it though and the diner showed up when I asked for 'restaurants near me'. This diner is right off Tamiami Trail, a place where many good restaurants are located. Since we got there early, dining was set up for outside, but the great spring weather makes eating outdoors a fun experience. After entering the restaurant, we ordered our food and sat down. There wasn't a long wait for lunch, we got fed quickly and everything was good. The menu is the same as the restaurant at Founders Square, with salads, bowls, a good variety of handhelds, kids options and lots of sides. They even have rotisserie chicken, prime rib and miso salmon, for when you want a little extra. The Parque Del Lago taco salad and California panini looked interesting, but hubs went with the grilled Mahi sandwich and I decided on the classic burger. We both got an order of those addictive sweet potato fries! Service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and welcoming and we'll definitely be back for another lunch in the future.

From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Thanks to Angel and the kitchen for such an outstanding experience. Seventh South has earned a spot on our regular rotation whenever we're in Naples.

Our server Mike, did an excellent job taking care of us. We started off with a couple cocktails. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had the Not Bogged Down. For dinner I had the Chorizo Encrusted Red Snapper and my wife had one of the specials which was the Tripletail. She said it was the best seafood dish she has ever had. For dessert, we split the special Crème Brûlée topped with diced fruit. We enjoyed the dessert so much, we purchased one for a sweet family of four sitting next to us. Our server Mike and the owner, Barry, helped make that happen and we appreciate it.
