Having lunch at Lake Park Diner was a great idea, it's right off Immokalee and easy to access with good parking. They have a variety of different food and you can choose what you want from a big board next to the cashier. They have hamburgers, salads, bowls, brunch and cocktails. That Lake Park Mojito looked tempting, but maybe later. After putting in our order, the hostess bought us water and the food came out soon after. I tried the Korean short rib tacos, an interesting fusion of southwest and Asian. The sweet potato fries I ordered were super delicious. Hubs asked me to order the Classic Burger, but I accidentally got him the Korean short rib power bowl. At first he looked like he was going to ignore the bowl, but after taking a few bites, he really liked it. He can easily turn down vegetables, so I was amazed to see him polish this bowl off. Good for Lake Park Diner for making veggies so appealing! The hostess was very attentive and she stopped by a few times to see if we needed more drinks and to make sure we liked the food. They do have very good food here, as well as a creative menu. This is a restaurant to stop by and have a relaxing lunch. Lake Park Diner at Founder's Square is not your average diner as one might expect. As you enter the Diner it features a Main Menu displayed on the wall with all the choices. There are many options available, including appetizers, salads, burgers, paninis, children's selections and more. You place your order, receive a number, and then find a table or booth where your food will be delivered to you. Big fans of the original Lake Park Diner, we were excited to try out their newer location in North Naples. This Lake Park Diner is located in a newer shopping center and also features outside and inside seating. We ordered dinner online to-go and everything was hot and fresh on time (took about 20 mins). We ordered a half rotisserie chicken with mac and cheese and chicken soup, a pimento cheese sandwich with fries, and a california panini with mixed green salad. Everything was cooked perfectly, but the star of the show was Lake Park Diner's signature rotisserie chicken. Relative to the original diner closer to downtown Naples, I found this location have similar quality food but just slightly different atmosphere. Both locations have very good service but the vibe and venue is different. The original location had more of a picnic table restaurant feel, with a great outside. I have family members who really enjoy this place, and I can see why. They have some nice items, and everything I tried tasted nice. The staff were all very warm and friendly. Where it fell a little short for me was they charge full service prices but you order at the register just like at a fast food place like Five Guys. And when you pay, the tip suggestions are also like full service (15%, 20%, and 25% if I recall correctly) but I am getting a self service experience except they drop the food off at your table. It's a nice place with good food, but if I am going to pay (and expected to tip) like a full service restaurant I personally would prefer to go to a place where i enjoy the full service. The seating (especially booth) was also very limited for a party of four. I would never discourage someone from supporting this business, but I am not sure I will personally be back. read more

I could have done more research before choosing this spot for dinner. The food was better than I expected, but the music was much louder, and why was there a bar? Florida, are you okay? Aren't hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes enough to make you happy? Why would need alcohol too? Also I was mortally offended by the neon sign of a hamburger that used yellow for the dressing (could have been red for ketchup) and red for what was clearly cheese (should have been yellow). This was our second time at the new location. Last time we came for lunch and split the Cuban sandwich. It was delicious but on the smaller side for sharing. Tonight we came for dinner cause the hubby was craving the rotisserie chicken. His came with 2 sides which were very generous portions of brussel sprouts and sweet potato. I finally tried the short rib tacos with blue corn chips and salsa. They were good but definitely not the best meal I have had here. They opened about a month ago and the fact no one thought to have 2 registers to order food was definitely an oversight and will have to be reconsidered. I loved the addition of a lake park diner in founders square. We tried when they opened and the food, drinks and service were top notch. Lately, something has changed. It was a restaurant we frequented and started to not be so consistent. I honestly have no complaints with the food. The service has definitely changed. I swear they are not allowed to smile. The workers could have more customer service. I received my cocktails and food before my kids received their lemonade and chocolate milk. The bar is amazing - when they have an amazing bartender. I have ordered many Pina coladas in the past that were great! I had one that was off- it was different. When I asked the bartender he said that he doesn't use certain of the listed ingredients because HE thinks they are not necessary. You pay a nice chunk for these drinks so should be spot on every time. I also experienced ordering two adult shakes. Mine was vanilla and other was hazelnut. It was clear that the vanilla had booze. The hazelnut tastes exactly like my sons regular milkshake. I asked the bartender if this had any alcohol and she shouted "100%! 100%! I know it dud because I did it". There was no way in hell that was an adult drink. Our receipt only showed alcohol in the vanilla and the hazelnut was just regular price- no uncharge. That was really ridiculous to be bossed back to my table like that. I don't believe her and if b6 the receipt, it proves that. I'm very disappointed in the decline. Utterly insane that the Lake Park Diner has mediocre reviews on Yelp. This is a PHENOMENAL restaurant--my favorite place in the area. The food is high quality at very reasonable prices. I live nearby and don't have time to cook so I eat there up to 3 times per week. Can't say I've ever been disappointed with a meal there. You almost can't go wrong with anything on the menu. You can get a great meal for under $20 or have a feast for $35. There are plenty of healthy options too. The burgers are great and are made with grass-fed beef. All the chicken sandwiches are fantastic. Wings are very good. The sides come in large portions (you get one free with entrees). Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoe fries are my favorites. The butter cake a la mode for dessert is world-class (for all you fatties). You order and pay at the counter up front when you walk in. You can tip (cash) right there or leave a cash tip on the table when you're done. This is actually a superior method so you don't have to spend extra time after the meal. Ashley, the manager, is wonderful. She does a great job and is genuinely one of the nicest people I know. Give the Lake Park Diner a chance--it's terrific. I had the rotisserie chicken sandwich, which was over-dressed with sauce (making the bread REALLY soggy), but I enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. The truffle parmesan fries were good, but not great... not much truffle flavor, no salt, and they were a bit cold. But this is a new restaurant with a new staff, so I'm sure things will improve!
