"2009 Audi S5" To be honest, I was kind of nervous buying a used vehicle as I usually purchase new. I have been looking for the prefect S5 for some time now. I finally decided to test out a 2009 Audi S5 at TAB and was introduced to Jacob. The car looked great and had all the specs I was looking for. Jacob assured me that if I ran into any problems, he would take care of them. No one wants problems, especially when buying your own personal vehicle. Well there were some minor problems, wheel balancing and some fluid levels, but Jacob jumped into action and addressed everything and then some. I was really impressed!!! He took what could have been a bad experience and turned it right around. I still go by on occasion and have a coffee with the guys at TAB because I really do feel like family. read more

Waterloo Ford is completely dishonest. I left my summer tires with them for storage, and now they're claiming I "picked them up at delivery." That never happened. I've never seen or touched those tires since leaving them with this dealership. They have zero proof that I collected them. No paperwork. No signed release. No photo. Just their word -- and their word is worth nothing. They're brushing this off like it's not their problem. If you're thinking about trusting this place with your vehicle or your property, don't. They lost my tires and are now trying to cover it up instead of making it right. read more

The ended up scratching all 4 panels and the arrogant service manager Grant told me that I did it, not them. Tell me how all 4 panels get the exact same kind of scrapes and scuffs when they are not exposed areas inside the cabin. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience! 0 stars! Bought a 2024 trade-in GMC Sierra 1500 Denali from Waterloo. Upon discussing add-on packages with Sully in finance, I said I wanted to take the truck to a third-party detail shop to have ceramic and under coating done. I was told they work with said detail shop and would get me a better price. I had no reason to believe the truck was not going to the third-party shop I specified when signing paperwork. I had to fight to get a loaner while the truck was in the shop. It was a Subaru RVR that was filthy inside. There was even a leftover McDonald's bag of garbage in the back seat and a used saucy napkin shoved in between the seat and the door! No vehicle walk around either, nothing. After picking up the truck after service, I found out days later, by my own investigation, the truck was never taken to the third-party detail shop. Instead it was done in-house! I was charged $2499 for the ceramic, which just so happens to be exactly the same price as the top package of the third-party detail shop. Meanwhile, I called other Ford dealerships around town and was quoted far less for the same ceramic. I was charged $799 for the under spray, which is very thin and patchy. I took the truck to the detail shop and it was confirmed the products applied are vastly inferior to theirs. Very shady and dishonest are the best words I can use to describe Waterloo! I have been fighting them to get reimbursed for the work I did not agree to for a month now, and they refuse to make their mistake right. I'm not sure how anyone can leave a positive review of this place, based on the appalling level of service I've received from these swindlers. AVOID WATERLOO FORD AT ALL COSTS! read more

Been a ford customer of 12 + years , by far the worst experience ive ever had at any dealership.. tried to purchase a truck and before it was ready for pickup they scratched the bumper and had to repair it.. delay after delay of when the truck would be ready started to make me feel as of their was more than just a scratch and something felt shady. I decided to cancel the deal as it was now a damaged truck that i had never even sat in. They canceled the truck but wouldnt refund my 5000$ ! Downpayment. I would like to thank Martin for looking in to this nightmare, even if there is nothing he could do. About as slimy a dealership as I have seen. Avoid at all costs. Started off having a great experience... then I bought a vehicle drove 300km and the motor went out of it! I'm in a wheelchair so rely on my vehicles to get to appointments etc. Now for the past 2 weeks I've been trying to come to a resolution with no success! Was told many times they would look after me and now they don't want to do anything really. I haven't been sleeping and now my health is starting to suffer! When I inquired about it Grant, in service management, was unreasonable, uncooperative and would not listen to anything I had to say. He was very dismissive and held my keys hostage until I paid for work that should have been under warranty. He could care less about customer service or customer satisfaction and told me as such. I left feeling distraught, disrespected, ripped off and completely unsatisfied. They have lost out on a new truck sale and any other services needed in the future. I hope it was worth it Grant. I quite like the appearance and the atmosphere of this newly renovated dealership. I may be slightly biased to this one as I spend more time here then others. I have only dealt with service once but it was very pleasant when I did. I had a problem with a car I was taking and they came out and fixed it up right away. The sales team seems excellent also, very similar to most dealerships if you are not there for a couple months some faces change but they seem well trained. They great you as you walk in and offer you information or even a drink. There is one face I love to see there because I don't think she knows what a frown looks like, the receptionist is always a percent to my day. The showroom is very open and I love the way the display product. Everything is open and you are free to look as you want. They have an incredible waiting area and the coffee is always on and free, you might want to take advantage of it. In the near future I know we will be buying a new vehicle, I have already added this place to the short list of potentials! Quick note: you might not want to spend too much time here after dark, the dealership is in sort of the ghetto area and a lot of funny people come out when the sun goes down. read more

My partner brought my Escape in for an oil check. Marni upsold him on a full service package, even though she could see I had just bought it a few months earlier and had only driven it 3,000 km. The services she included and insisted were necessary had been done at a sister dealership before I drove it off the lot. I also just had my winter tires put on a month ago, so there was no need for a tire rotation. Marni would have been well aware of all of these things and yet she still suggested all that unnecessary work be done. My partner agreed to the work because it wasn't clearly explained how often tires actually need to be rotated ect. Had she properly explained the timelines of when maintenance is actually required and recommended, a proper decision could have been made. Our trust with Ford is now broken. This place is a cash grab and we will not be returning. read more

I phoned them in March 2019 to get air bags for my car due to a recall. Service said they would order them and have them within 3 to 4 weeks. I have called them a couple of times to check in and was told they hadn't arrived. I get an automated call in about July saying have your car in tomorrow morning to replace air bags. I call them back saying I can't make tomorrow morning!!! The service guy then tells me I'm sorry but we don't even have the airbags in...we got them then they were faulty ...not sure why you would have got that automated call!!!! so we don't have them we are waiting again.....It's now September. I decided to call a different dealership...they had the airbags in stock and I'm in....wow Waterloo that's all I can say. read more

She found a used vehicle for $13,000 but ended up signing a $25,000 contract after the dealer fees, admin cost, and interest (29.99%). They have no respect for the community around them, they even asked if they could park cars at a local church, they're more concerned with selling as many cars as possible than being honest and respectful. When I approached a car salesman about this he told me "am I breaking the f***ing law? Arrest me." And argued and was aggressive and confrontational with me (a young single female). Waterloo is in a skeezy area. There was a needle on the lawn. However the service was excellent. Not pushy but helpful. During the test drive the sales rep noticed a noise that wasn't right. So they took it into the shop and fixed it. The banking was difficult but they did push it through. Next time I need a new truck I would go there again. read more

After reading some of the reviews I was a little cautious with taking my vehicle here for warranty and regular preventative maintenance. With that said, I've now been to this location approximately 4-5 times and its always been pleasant. The service advisors (Eddy and Marnie) have been good with explaining their processes and keeping me up to date throughout the day. The Lincoln concierge (Shannon) was super friendly and was able to accommodate my booking and use of a loaner pretty quickly. We have also dealt with a sale rep (Ron) in the last week as we evaluated our options for a new vehicle. He was friendly, honest, very knowledgeable, and we will be back when the time to purchase arrives. read more

Unfortunately, over the past two days we have dealt with very poor customer service from Waterloo Ford. I am always hesitant to take my vehicle into the dealership for maintenance because it often takes longer and seems more expensive. However, we gave it a shot. I could write a few pages on what went wrong, but the key issues were the dealership taking 2 days to complete something that should have taken a few hours (and we had a 7:15am appointment, giving them plenty of time) which ended up with us having to take the truck back for a second day. The courtesy shuttle failed to pick my husband up both days, resulting in him waiting outside for about 40 mins each time before we ended up having to call the dealership to remind them and they sent a taxi instead. There was also a complete lack of communication from our customer service rep. I'm mostly disappointed In the incredible amount of time wasted on our part to have a simple job done, because of the dealership's poor communication. Needless to say, we won't be returning to Waterloo Ford. There are plenty of other Ford dealers in Edmonton, and we will continue our quest to find the right one! read more

The minute I walked in the front door, I was hounded by over zealous car salesmen. I attempted to walk away but they were there at every turn saying things like: "You buy car!", "We like your money!", "You're not leaving til you buy a clunker!!". Not only was I mortified but terrified as well. Under duress, I willed my weary body to take a test drive. well, as soon as I got in the driver's seat a spring poked me arse and I was deeply afraid I'd get a staph infection. But I digress....after my experience at waterloo ford I will watch where I go from now on. The three stitches in my butt cheek will prove as a grave reminder to stay away from scheisters like this. BI had not taken possession of the truck and told the finance manager and salesperson that I couldn't afford it and that it would not work for me. They told me that there was nothing I could do and I had to bring my truck in for the trade. After I was forced (what felt like I was forced) to bring my truck into trade, I took possession of the new to me truck. As I drove away from dealer radio quit working, I called them and they took it in and said it needed a new module $1200 part and that i had to pay for it. Another issue I had was the tires on the truck were so worn down in some spots they were smooth. On their amvic inspection it said all tires passed with 4mm of tread, I took it to another shop to have it inspected non biased. They failed 2 of the tires but recommended all four be replaced as they were at the minimum spec. Also the license plate light was not working where on the amvic inspection they said it passed. So I brought this up with the dealer and they told me to bring it in again to have it looked at. I brought it on November 10, 2020. Their head technician came out to take a look and agreed that the tires were not safe to be driven on and that the radio should be replaced. So after he did his inspection I left and waited to hear back from them, over a week later they called me and tried to make a deal with me saying either, they replace the radio and 2 tires and I pay for the other 2 out of pocket ($1100) they didn't let me pick the tires either. Or they replace all 4 tires and I pay for the radio, with everything going on right now and barely being able to afford the truck I opted for the 2 tires and the radio. The dealer called me and said they had the parts for the radio and on December 22 I took it in to get the work done. They called me back and said they ordered the wrong module but the tires were on and I could pick it up. I picked it up and noticed all 4 tires were new so when I went to the service advisor I asked if I have a bill because I only wanted the 2 tires done she said no you're good to go and we will call you when the new part is in. So me thinking that they did this out of good faith was actually pretty happy. They called me again and on December 31, they had the new part so I took my truck in again to get the new radio under the influence of thinking that I was going to have a complete truck. So after they installed the new radio module I went to pick up my truck and now there is a bill for $1100, so I asked what this was for and to my surprise it was for the 2 tires they said I agreed to pay for. I asked to see the paperwork that I signed saying I agreed to paying for these tires and they didn't have anything. And when I said I couldn't afford that they tried to push financing for the tires to me and I said no, so I said ok well put my 2 of my old tires back on and I'll be on my way. They agreed to that and they looked for my old tires and said they found them and when I went to look at them they were not my tires. So when I said that those tires were wrong they told me I was wrong they got very upset and hostile towards me and then pushed for me to pay again for the 2 tires, and again I told them I could not afford them. Then they took my truck back into the shop against my will and took the module out of the radio and would not talk to me about it after at all. So after all this I went to go pick up my truck they just threw me the keys and said good luck. I have all the documents and paperwork showing all this and their fraud amvic inspection and pictures of the tires they said were safe. So today I have the 4 tires but still no working radio and also the front u-joints also should have been replaced before the sale I don't know how they sold a vehicle like this or how its ok for them to lie on the inspection but they did and here i am stuck with a truck thats no good. read more

I bought an F150 from waterloo, the sales staff and finance manager were excellent and professional. They were informative and very polite other then the process took over 4 hours for the paper work to be done, I can't say nothing but positive things. After picking up the brand new truck, I noticed the engine bay wasn't overly clean. I park it outside I started to notice scratches on the paint, dent in the center console and the rear park sensor was pushed in. So I brought it in back the same day and complained. I had to drive to them four times before waterloo took it in to fix. A few days later my window is making screeching noises and are telling me the rubber seal needs replacing and the part will take many days to arrive. In conclusion, whoever run's quality control and detailing sure suck at there jobs. However the sale and finance at this dealership are excellent. read more

Called to set up a test drive. Was initially bounced around by the receptionist who was seemed new and didn't know who to transfer me to. Finally was put through to one of the sales managers. Was nice, friendly, and answered all the questions I had. Appointment was set, and I told him if it was a good drive I'd buy the vehicle that day. Fast forward to my appointment time. No other customers were in the store and I ended up waiting 35 minutes before sales staff helped me. At this point one of the managers informed me the car I had wanted to drive had been sold earlier on in the day and that he was surprised no one called me. Tried to get me into another car that was an absolute POS. Long story short terrible service, will not be going back. read more

Recently drove a friends brand new Acura MDX and was stunned by the smoothness! That made me realize that my 2004 Ford Exp was giving me a feel of driving a 'lorry' (google if you dont know what). Something definitely not right with my Exp. even if my friends is a brand new luxury SUV. I realize I was hearing a constant annoying humming when the vehicle is moving and was also feeling rough. This was not something new, but has been there for a while, say for about more than couple of years, only it became more annoying now. How my service center missed it, when I take it for regular servicing! Anyways long story short, booked an appointment and took to Waterloo service centre! Voila with $700 off my vallet, some faulty bearing on one of the front wheels had to be replaced. No more noise, I am in luv all over with my exp. I just wish the service centre are proactive in finding such faults, as not all customers are auto-mobile savvy - not me! Another point to add they have now changed their 'Fast Lane' to 'Quick Lane'. What I found interesting is there is no more a lane if you are choosing the Quick Lane. Very confusing for a customer, where should they park the car. If you book a service appointment, you ought to now drive through the 'lane'. Interesting that with so much emphasis on the new look / rebuilt Location, customer experience is beyond buying a new car. Customers like me who come for servicing should also feel good - not intimidated. Just a humble suggestion! Hope the management takes notice. 2 points - 1) proactive service maintenance and identify issues 2) better instruction / pictures / signs - for the quick lane and service maintenance folks on where to go and where to park. For a variety of reasons, bringing one's vehicle for a service can be one of the most stressful things. Fortunately, I was able to find a reliable establishment that I have been dealing with for over a year. Due to the complexity of newer vehicles, I believe it unrealistic to think a major service can go without unexpected issues. In my opinion, the indication of a trustworthy and good-value company is when the service agents and managers do everything in their power in order to lessen the impact of these occurrences. I have brought my car in for anything from an oil change to more intricate work and I have always left satisfied. read more

So a month and a half ago I bought a new car from Waterloo Ford . When I began the process I was told the service plan I was paying well over $4k for on my trade in ( purchased at same dealer ship) would be transferred to the new car. I trusted them as I had already bought 2 cars from this dealership. Comes down to signing paper work there is the total of my loan from the first car which includes the price of the service plan in it being counted against me in negative equity. I ask about the plan again after all is said and done and am now told that it would not be transferred to my new car, but would follow the trade in. I was floored, when I asked why i was told different all I got were shrugs. They did kindly offer me a card for a few free oil changes to compensate though. ( you get these when ever you buy a car any way very big of them), never got it. Filled out my survey indicating my displeasure with their obviously shady tactics, and got a call from a guy in financing. Explain story to him get told "wow that shouldn't have happened, you should have been......" 1. should have been offered a credit - Wasn't 2. should have been offered a discount on a new plan - Wasn't 3. told would look into it, and get back to me. finally get my call back and told so sorry cant do anything, can we give you a card for 3 free oil changes.... again? I didn't get the one i should have gotten with the new car or the one offered in comp the first time. Like this makes up for over $7k in charges against me they will also re-coop from selling the car with the bonus of a service plan attached to it. So will get the cost from me and some other sucker. Again promised a call from the VP, haven't heard back yet. Waterloo Ford has been deleting my tweets and Facebook posts about this so they don't appear on their sites. watch out for these shady characters Edit. I bought a truck from the folks in 2011 and had a very pleasant experience with them so when I needed to buy a replacement vehicle I went right back. I was a bit disappointed to see they were under new ownership but was assured that the new team was providing the same level of service that the old team had provided. I inquired online about a used car and almost immediately got a call from a salesman who then proceeded to call me every 2 hours until I booked a time to come look at a truck. We ended up purchasing a truck (paperwork took over 3 hours and I had all 3 of my children with me). There was an issue with a small part that the salesman told us they would fix at a later date. I've called several times to try to book a time to get that part replaced with no luck. A few days after purchasing I turned the heater on for the first time and it started clicking. I called the salesman right away, he said he would book a service call for me. Never happened. I have tried calling several times and have only ever received a call back once, while I was in a meeting. I asked the gentleman, Dan the used car manager, to call me back. Never happened. I've been driving the truck for about 6 months. Yesterday the engine blew. read more

I brought my Mazda B-Series (Ranger) to Waterloo Ford to have an oil leak repaired. The diagnosis was an $1100 rear main seal. The work was done and paid for but my truck was still leaking exactly the same amount from exactly the same spot. I was then told it must be the $350 oil pan gasket. The work was done and paid for and this fixed the leak. This means Waterloo charged me $1100 for a rear main seal that WAS NOT the problem. If Waterloo could not pinpoint the leak location, why didn't they do the cheap oil pan gasket repair first to see if this would fix the leak??!! Instead I paid $1100 for unneeded work. If the cheaper repair had not fixed the leak, I would have had the $1100 rear main seal done as well and I would have felt the dealership did all they could to get my vehicle repaired reasonably and honestly. I was extremely unhappy to have paid $1100 for a rear main seal that DID NOT need to be done. When I spoke to the shop foreman about this I was told that they should have done both repairs at the same time because they could not pinpoint the leak location. If both were done at the same time, I would have been kept blind to the unneeded repair and I would have had no idea of that I was being overcharged. As a customer in this position, I would prefer to be given the option of taking a chance with the cheaper repair first rather than both at the same time. Waterloo's approach in this instance was very poor, and seems suspect. Waterloo could have done far more to make sure I was getting the right repair and being properly charged for the work done. The repair quality seems to be good but the unneeded repair is extremely expensive and far beyond frustrating. Do I ever feel ripped off. Waterloo mishandled this and I am the one who paid $1100 for an unneeded repair. read more
