Cornbeef was crispy, just the way I like it. Can't find that at many places around here. My son got a waffle with a side of sausage. This is my boyfriend and I's go-to breakfast place every weekend. He usually ventures out and tries something new, but I always stick with the Fireman's special with a side of sliced avocado with a biscuit and a gravy. De-licious! When this place first opened, the owner was waiting tables. I've been a server for 10 years, and pride myself very much in being good at my job, but this man runs circles around me! He is so personable and seems to remember every patron that walks through his doors. I'm always seeing kids running around in the kitchen when the doors swing open, and it really gives you that sense of a "home cooked meal." Ever since this place has gotten more popular, they have hired more waitstaff and the owner has seemed to move to the back of house. It's so unfortunate to have servers that are more interested in turning their tables than providing the quality of service we were so used to. I ordered orange juice that never came last weekend, and my boyfriend unfortunately finished his entire plate before getting his tortillas that we asked for three times. We're definitely supportive of this place growing into something amazing, because the food deserves 10,000 stars, but it is slightly disappointing to have a waitstaff that clearly doesn't show the passion that the owner has behind his establishment and his food. That's my only complaint, but it won't stop us from coming back every weekend! read more

I felt like the corn beef hash, should be cooked separately and then mixed together. The corn beef consistency through me off. My husband and I went for breakfast today. Atmosphere was ok. Waitress very nice. The food however left a lot to be desired. My husband had the corned beef hash. He mentioned that it had the flavor of canned cbh. He ordered three eggs sunnyside up to top it off. The yokes were hard and not at all as expected. I had the cowboy omelet. While it was very fluffy, there was so seasoning, including salt. The biscuit was the worst I've ever had. Hard, undercooked in the middle and somewhat grayish. The taste was terrible. Now the one thing that was awesome were the home style potatoes! I think we'll stick with IHOP for the same price. Won't be going back again. read more

My husband had scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and a side of grits. They forgot his eggs. They made it right away. The pancakes were gooey, undercooked. They made a second batch of pancakes, fell apart like they forgot to put eggs in the batter. They were not good. And his grits were not hot-Just warm. First visit. Clean. Smelled stuffy. Wait time and price point were reasonable. The hostess was attentive. The Coke was great!:-o I ordered a chicken caesar salad. Can't mess that up right? Way too much dressing and the lettuce was withered. My friend ordered chicken philly with onion rings. He wanted the avocado burger but they were out of avocado . The bell pepper was under cooked. The onion rings were just ok....I don't think the batter has eggs. The chicken on both dishes was tender and seasoned well. I doubt there will be a second visit.
