My old system's company's owner (Tim) turned sour and non-caring, so I found BWC. He knew the water issues my area faces and the damage it causes, and replaced it with an updated unit for a very fair price. Excellent installation and warranty to boot. Look no further. Jim's the guy!!

Oh, BWC. You have saved my sanity multiple times. BWC was one of the four water treatment companies…read moreI called to get quotes for remedying our stanky-arse well water, and is the best of the four by FAR in terms of pricing, equipment quality, and knowledge of/experience with the groundwater in our area. The owner, Jim, is also very personable and professional. And when Jim came out a few weeks later after the quote to install the water treatment system we found out the hard way that our ejector pump had died! (Ewww). Instead of being like, "see ya later, get this fixed", Jim told me which model to go buy and replaced it for a nominal fee. We saved over 50% compared to having an emergency plumber come do it. We're also having problems with a section of ancient, corroded galvanized pipe shedding little black flecks into the water in the kitchen faucet, so BWC is going to replace that piping as well for a very reasonable price. Seriously though folks. I'm a nervous first-time homeowner who kinda got screwed in the plumbing department because our home inspector sucked, and Jim has done SO much to answer all of my billions of questions and fix things. I couldn't be more grateful.

This was after a large company had replaced the primary pump and added several extras, and when I later compared the bills, I realized just how inflated their charges were. Garret was fair, transparent, and took the time to explain everything in detail, which I really appreciated. I'm leaving this review a bit late, but I rely heavily on reviews when hiring services myself, so I wanted to make sure others benefit from our experience too

The team was friendly, helpful, didn't (seem to) mind explaining everything to me and best of all, found all sorts of quirks in my plumbing AND rooted out the main (we think) cause of our issues. I was more than pleased with Franzen and plan to use them moving forward. It's so hard to know sometimes the best course of action when fixing old homes. I felt very confident in Tim and team.

It took an unusually long time "trying" to clear the clog to run up the bill in my opinion. The two men also spent a lot of time talking in private by their truck during the job. Then they got called to another job and "suddenly" they were able to get the toilet unclogged. Stay away from Franzen Plumbing in my opinion! I suspect the good reviews are from family and friends. That is my opinion.

They came out to install and new sink and do some maintenance items on a toilet. We were charged a full hour for only 15 minutes of work - I understand that it isn't possible to round and pro rate to the minute, but at $200 an hour, it's a bit ridiculous. Plumber also seemed annoyed by my wife's questions, and dispatcher was short with me and rude when I followed up to try to understand some additional work they were proposing as well as my invoice.
