Unlike the Culligan guy ( who quotes us 3x the price too) these guys found that only our iron filter was bad and the other part of our problem was coming from our water heater. They replaced our iron filter ( for a good deal) and fixed the problem with our water heater for free. Instead of $2000 for the other guy ( or $3400 for Culligan) we spent around $900. The work was done quickly and cleanly. The technician was polite and on time. The new iron filter has been working great. I will definitely go to these guys for any future issues we may have.

Well they person they sent to my house, Mason Lies, wasn't pleasant at all. Far from it! He came in and proceeded to test our water. From the moment he tested it, he just went on and on how bad our water was and bashing us as homeowners on how he can't believe how long we went on with this water and without a water softener. Just kept saying that over and over. At one point, he was talking and started chuckling, and he said "sorry, i was just thinking on how bad this water is and how long you guys been at this home with this horrible water". Once he presented the pricing, mind you he didn't explain their system AT ALL! We had no idea why their systems are better than other companies or what they even do to clean the water. I told him we needed to discuss it before we committed to anything. He literally got mad and told us "What is there to think about?? You have horrible water! Nothing to think about, you need this really bad! This is your health we are talking about here, your kids health!". I kept my cool as I didn't want to be rude back. Once we kept on telling him it was a lot of money and we weren't going to make a decision right then and there. He was pretty upset, packed his stuff and left. Only reason I gave it 2 star is because the manager Jason reached out to me and I told him what happened. And since then, he has been reaching out to me to make things better. We had to constantly add bleach into the system and then dump out a tank once a month, Still the water we had was not good. My wife would take a bath and the water was brown and yellow. The previous company we used couldn't or wouldn't do much to fix the situation. I called Prairie State a few weeks ago, got a quote w/ a new system that didn't require adding bleach or emptying a tank all the time. Their new system was installed last week. Jim from Culligan came by on a Saturday afternoon and convinced us that we would be satisfied with their water filtration system. A week later it was installed and I've been drinking more water than ever since it tastes so good! Even my just as picky daughter agrees this water is good. There was a slight issue that our ice machine was hardly producing ice after they left, but they came back to check it out after a quick phone call...and now we have plenty of perfect tasting ice and water. Highly recommend! It's a bit costly, but no more than you'll spend on bottled water for your home if your family consumes as much water as mine does.
