We had to constantly add bleach into the system and then dump out a tank once a month, Still the water we had was not good. My wife would take a bath and the water was brown and yellow. The previous company we used couldn't or wouldn't do much to fix the situation. I called Prairie State a few weeks ago, got a quote w/ a new system that didn't require adding bleach or emptying a tank all the time. Their new system was installed last week. The difference is amazing. My wife took a bath last night and the water was crystal clear. Finally! Really appreciate the work they did and wish I would have called them sooner.

I contacted Johnson Water on three separate occasions to report that the system was not functioning properly. A technician was dispatched twice, each time displaying unprofessional behavior and dismissing my concerns without thorough inspection. On the third occasion, I specifically requested a different technician and asked that the water be tested to verify the equipment's performance. Despite my request, the same technician was sent again. However, he did conduct a water test, which confirmed that the equipment was not operating correctly and that the water remained hard--just as it was prior to installation. These findings were confirmed in June, despite my repeated complaints beginning in February. The issue has only recently been resolved. I contacted the company to request a credit for the five months during which the equipment was non-functional. My request was denied by a manager named Kerry. I have paid for five months of service without receiving the intended benefit. This experience reflects poorly on the company's commitment to customer service. Based on my experience, I do not recommend renting, purchasing, or using services from Johnson Water Conditioning Co., as customer concerns are not handled appropriately or professionally. I respectfully request that Johnson Water Conditioning Co. reconsider its position and issue a credit for the months during which the equipment was not functioning. I believe this would be a fair resolution and a reflection of good faith toward customer satisfaction.

Well they person they sent to my house, Mason Lies, wasn't pleasant at all. Far from it! He came in and proceeded to test our water. From the moment he tested it, he just went on and on how bad our water was and bashing us as homeowners on how he can't believe how long we went on with this water and without a water softener. Just kept saying that over and over. At one point, he was talking and started chuckling, and he said "sorry, i was just thinking on how bad this water is and how long you guys been at this home with this horrible water". Once he presented the pricing, mind you he didn't explain their system AT ALL! We had no idea why their systems are better than other companies or what they even do to clean the water. I told him we needed to discuss it before we committed to anything. He literally got mad and told us "What is there to think about?? You have horrible water! Nothing to think about, you need this really bad! This is your health we are talking about here, your kids health!". I kept my cool as I didn't want to be rude back. Once we kept on telling him it was a lot of money and we weren't going to make a decision right then and there. He was pretty upset, packed his stuff and left. Only reason I gave it 2 star is because the manager Jason reached out to me and I told him what happened. And since then, he has been reaching out to me to make things better.
