Mike looked at our refrigerator and knew IMMEDIATELY that he could not do the repair, as it was an appliance issue: a broken water line to our freezer's ice maker. Mike took pictures so I could in turn show the refrigerator repair man. Mike immediately knew this was a bigger problem and advised me to call my insurance company. It turned out to be a slow leak which led to significant damage. Due to Mike's quick and wise counsel I called the insurance company and filed a claim. Mike only charge me $40 for coming out and telling me that he could not fix the issue. I was GRATEFUL for him not charging me the full price of a call just to say he was not able to fix the issue. Thanks Mike. That kind of honesty, flexibility and customer service earned my respect and this review. I will also share your name with my neighbors and friends. Customer Service: Excellent Response Time: Fabulous Ability to Explain Issue: A true gift, as I had no clue and this was a BIG problem. Thank you Mike and Tammy for your outstanding customer service. A grateful customer. Susan G.

So we called this plumber and he came out, pushed the piece up into the toilet line, which seemed odd. It took him 10 minutes and he charged us almost $300. It worked for about a week and then we had to have them come back out and then they said the toilet is now broken and we need a new one. THEY BROKE IT BY PUSHING IT UP IN LINE. They could've just grabbed it and pulled it out. Then the second guy actually told us that we were lucky because they would normally charge us $75 service call to come back out the second time. what?? It was your mistake! Just BEWARE of this plumber. $300? We had an entire sink replaced In our laundry room, and it cost us less than that.

When we returned home from surgery we had water in cabinet and on the floor. Wife tried to "snug" it a little more; still leaked. So she turned the water off. We had used A.C.T. Plumbing and Property Management before so I left a message for them late Sunday. Ron called 1st thing Monday. I explained our situation and that the water was turned off so no rush. He was here the next day and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. To add to that, since we were already paying for the call, we had asked him to move the filter location. He said he would not suggest it, because of age of the filter system we should wait until this one died; the new ones size might be different. We've used other plumbers who would have been more than happy to charge us to move the old one. He's honest and is not out for the quick buck and cares about his customers, we will always use A.C.T. Plumbing. As a side note, he's a Hampshire business. Keep it local!

Tony's Drain and Sewer Tried to Drain Our Wallet Instead…read more.. My husband and I called Tony's Drain and Sewer because a contractor recommended them, and we had a stubborn main line blockage. They sent over a technician who attempted to rod the line but couldn't get the equipment in. He gave up and stuck a camera in there. My uncle is a general contractor/handyman with over 30 years of experience, and he's run into this exact issue before with our plumbing. Last time we had this issue, he told us it was likely root intrusion, and that it just needs yearly maintenance. Unfortunately, we didn't keep up with the maintenance, and he lives across the country, so we couldn't exactly fly him in for an emergency toilet rescue. Tony's charged us for a camera inspection and promised to send a quote. The next day? Boom! "$7,500 minimum"... And that didn't even include landscaping repairs. For that kind of money, I was expecting front row VIP tickets to see Dave Chapelle, since clearly, Tony's team thinks they're in the comedy business. Thankfully, we got a second opinion. Another plumbing company with over 20 years of experience came out, scoped it out, and spent about 3 hours clearing the line and doing a full inspection afterward. It was a root blockage and some baby wipes. They got to the root of the problem (yes, pun intended) for just $300. Moral of the story: Don't flush wipes. Also, don't flush your money down the drain with Tony's. Always get a second opinion. 0/10, would not recommend!
