I hired Jorge to put in vinyl/PVC porch railings for my front porch and my side porch. The…read morerailings had to match existing side rails on the front porch (these were the rails going down the stairs). The side porch was made of pavers, had no railings and looked trickier. Additionally, I wanted a shelf on/near the railing - this is the porch to go to the patio and BBQ grill. Jorge did fantastic work! It looks terrific. There were many tricky aspects to it and he conquered all difficulties. I felt the price was fair - he was definitely not the cheapest quote I got, but I had followed up with references who raved about him - and I can see why - he did very good work. That said, he could have been a better communicator - I would have liked a written proposal and I wish it had not been me to follow up with him on "are you coming today" - however, he had had an emergency in his family so it may have been just that. I very much recommend Jorge for porch railings. Plus - added bonus - he's a really nice guy!

They also did a great job in repairing some subpar drywall work that was done by the original contractors. While in the process of painting the walls, we had casually asked Jorge if his team also did trim work. We had been contemplating doing the trim work ourselves but Jorge's price quote was extremely fair and competitive, and the work was done very well. Jorge was easy to work with and accommodating of our schedule. We will be definitely be using Jorge and his team for future projects.

A home inspection that came in late required us to put in handrails on two stairways. We are new to the community and could find no one. Darrell gave me a quote and came and did the work. His work was solid. He was professional and done quickly. My husband and I were so grateful! Because the work had been so good on the handrails, we talked to him about a couple of other odd jobs and our new home he installed a pantry, medicine cabinet, and was honest with us about the fact we would not be able to install a garbage disposal. In addition he did a few other odd jobs while he was here. His work is always top-notch, he is pleasant to deal with, and we have been more than satisfied. I would say that you get what you pay for. His work isn't cheap, but his quality is outstanding and he is very good to work with. We are in the process of having him come back and do more work. He is helping us make our house a home!

First off Dave was very communicative up front on coordinating the timing, and him and his partner Gene were punctual when they arrived to do the install. I felt the price we agreed was very fair and the end result looks fantastic. All curtain rods installed very evenly (they used a leveler) and look very aesthetically pleasing. They were also patient with us as we tried to figure out the best height to mount off of the floor, and they used their own screws where the manufacturer provided ones were lacking. Highly recommend and I will definitely consider Dave & Gene for future projects around the house where my own handyman skills are lacking!

For most of the 218…read moredays since the official start, there have been a minimum number of workers on site, averaging two for an entire day. On many perfectly beautiful weather days there were no workers present at all. Excuses such as "mud" on the ground were put forth for delays and slow pace. We live, and this company operates, in Chicago, not Phoenix. Weather and mud are part of the annual environmental factors here, and there are obvious ways to manage those factors. I have patiently waited many months before submitting this review. I am fed up. There are elderly and disabled people in this building whose only reasonable access to being outside of their units is to access their balconies. I see many good reviews for this company. All I can say is that they have apparently placed a very low priority on this project. This is so disrespectful of the residents of this property, who paid up front for the work. I find it hard to politely convey how angry I am with this company.
