Flotek saved our basement and I'm very pleased with their service. We've had a lot of rain the last few days and our sump pump stopped working and water was starting to come in to our basement. I called 2 other places and just to come out to look and give us an estimate on a Sunday afternoon they charged a fee and couldn't even commit to making it out to our home the same day. I called Flotek for the first time and I was was impressed with their level of professionalism, experience and demonstrated expertise in the work they performed for us. I called and they arrived within 30 minutes. Upon arrival they covered their shoes to ensure our home wouldn't get dirty, he assessed what we needed and gave us options. Options that were affordable. They did a nice job, respected our time and more importantly our home by ensuring their shoes were covered and they cleaned up after the job was completed. Gabriel took the time to answer all of our questions and explained things to us in terms that we'd understand. Once we decided what we wanted to do, he explained what he was going to do and he quickly started working on it. If you want a reliable, honest and a knowledgeable plumber Flotek is the way to go!! We were referred to Flotek from a friend initially to bid out a complete basement remodel. Not only were they the most reasonable on cost, the service and responsiveness was like none-other we had seen before. They completed our basement project which included; a new bathroom with shower, re-pitched our septic line and repositioned our water heater and other utilities to a centralized location. My Monday started out at 10 Am with Nicor turning my gas off when they came out to inspect an odor.... I called 6 repair companies their comments ranged from 1400 dollars minimun, 2 day job, can't get out there till Friday.... No hot water, no stove I was so sad then I called Flotek, they were the next red dot on google maps for plumbers in my area. The technician said he was just finishing a job he could be by me by 5 pm. Gabe from Flotek was incredibly professional and his services were extremely well priced. I needed a plumber to uninstall my sink for my new countertops. He was able to uninstall my sink the day before my countertops arrived, and was then able to come back the next day after the countertop installation to install my new sink and faucet (along with existing garbage disposal). Gabe didn't leave until everything was all cleaned up and running without any leaks. Right before he left, Gabe even gave me some final tips to make sure my new faucet continued to run well. Gabriel from Flotek has done a few jobs for us and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our house built in 1946 has had nothing but "home owners special" plumbing work done throughout and Gabriel has pretty much replaced all of that very poorly done work. New kitchen sink, upstairs bathroom sink and toilet replaced, whole gutted bathroom with new bathtub, sink, and toilet replaced. I called Flotek early in the morning and talked with Gabriel about my sump pump. The alarm was going off. We discussed changing the battery due to the extreme age. I swapped out the battery (my idea) and the alarm still was going off. I called Gabriel again, he said he could be over in an hour. Gabriel answered emergency call after needle compression valve snapped during refrigerator water supply change with new appliance. Water could not be completely shut off to home leaving water pressure in system. Gabriel replaced needle valve with stronger fitting and installed ball valve for future protection as backup to central shutoff faucet. Gabriel was pleasant, thorough and professional.
