Had septic backup through a floor drain, called this company on a weekend to come have a look. Technician showed up promptly, stuck around for an hour or two, tried rodding a clean out but gave up before actually fixing the problem. Technician said i needed to have the pipes hydro jetted for 1700$ or replaced for 17,000$ in just one section! After finishing, he handed me an 800$ bill and basically didn't tell me anything other then I have a blockage without fixing the problem. Next business day I called my normal septic company, who came out and actually fixed the issue for 100$. Would definitely not recommend this company. read more

I was really happy with their work. We had an outside spigot that broke and we were forced to turn off the water to our home. Next morning the guy was at our home at 8 AM and replaced the spigot, added a shut off valve for the spigot and ended up replacing our master shutoff valve (ours failed to stop the water completely). It wasn't cheap but EXCELLENT work; the guy didn't have an additional shut off valve but said next time he was in the area he would honor the lower price. Less than one week later he came back and replaced that additional shut off valve. Again, it was expensive but cheaper than Black Diamond and the work was timely and top quality. read more

I usually never give reviews but felt the need to do give these guys a review. We had a leak in our basement and called Advantage. What's great about this place is that they're super responsive and were able to send a really friendly plumber over right away. What the biggest issue I have with these guys is we spent almost $300 for an hour of the plumbers time to find the issue and essentially block the issue but not fix it. So essentially I spent $300 for the guy to put a stop to the leak and now got a quote from another plumber who said he'll actually fix the issue in $250 and said we should've called him first. The other plumber I called actually laughed when I said that Advantage came in and stopped the issue but didn't fix it and asked well why didn't they fix It? For $300 you would expect the issue to be resolved. So I'm very disappointed with this place and would not recommend them. Again, the plumber was nice. And seemed knowledgeable. But I don't know why we paid so much money for our issue to not get resolved. read more

I called Advantage for a second opinion about an issue we were having with hot water pressure in our shower. The first plumber I spoke with very quickly diagnosed the issue with the most extreme fix necessary (having to replace the entire shower fixture since it was "blown out" and would "only get worse") and tried to pressure me into the sale. Andrey Krysko, from Advantage, actually took components apart, examined them, and methodically outlined his approach. He was not trying to sell me anything, he was trying to fix our problem--he also did not make me feel incompetent when I said that I would buy parts on my own--"That's what you should do--it's much cheaper," he told me... We had to have two follow up visits, the first with Tyler, and the last with Tyler and Chuck. They were efficient, tidy, and clearly described what they were doing and why, and showed us pictures of issues they discovered. We now have a shower that works better than it has in years, with a year warranty on parts and labor. All at HALF the cost I was quoted by the first plumber I spoke with. Had slightly slow drains for two days and when I came back from as work Friday mid-day sewer had pushed up into my utility room. Advantage Plumbing took my call and send Josh within just a little more than two hours. He checked the main sewer and that was not an issue. So the toilet was pulled and upon inspection of the pipes from the inside of the house found what looked like a grease clog. Since I fairly recently bought the house I'm assuming it was there quite some time... Woke up this morning to trickling water coming out of our kitchen faucet due to the sub-zero temps. Four Seasons/Advantage was the only company that I could get a hold of on a Sunday in an emergency situation. The first plumber from Advantage came out a few hours later. He diagnosed where he believed our pipe was frozen, but he didn't have the correct equipment on this truck. So, he called a colleague on another call and asked him to come by. Before that, he talked through our issue with us and quoted us a price. Yes, the price was hefty, but it's a Sunday and we're in a winter advisory with dangerous temps. Everyone else is off work, but not these guys. And, thankfully, we have heat and we have power and the pipes didn't burst. So, yeah, I can agree to that price. The 2nd gentleman arrived a little more than hour later. He came in with the machine, talked through everything with us, and place the pipe thawing machine (which looked a lot like jumper cables) on our pipes. I'm not kidding, within a minute we heard this loud clunk and our water came soaring through the faucets. It took him longer to bring the machine in and set it up than it did to clear the frozen piece of ice from the pipe! Before he left, he gave us more tips to ensure this doesn't happen again. I feel too often people come on here to leave reviews when they're not happy with service. So, I wanted to be sure I left them a positive review. I wish I had gotten both employees' names, but I didn't because I was in so distraught at not having water for 8 hours. We called Advantage to do a preventative maintenance check on our sump pump. Mark was at our door right on time, and truly saved us big time!! He discovered a major problem with our sump pump and was able to fix it right then and there. We were truly astonished. Three hours before the scheduled appointment time, I got a call from Advantage saying they couldnt make it. The reason? Their plumbers are all busy on emergency calls (the ones that get up-charged with 'emergency' fees, of course). Their next available appointment was in a week. When I complained, the manager's idea of a solution was to refer me to Four Seasons, which she says they do in situations like these. The lesson learned from this is that unless you have an emergency, dont call these people: they will book you and cancel you as soon as they get a job they can charge more for. The fact that they routinely refer their over-booked clients to their biggest competitor speaks volumes. read more

Ben the technician came by within the hour on a Friday night and diagnosed the problem quickly.
