In the past I was fortunate to have a neighbor for minor plumbing work. Last week our washer died. A new one arrived but they couldn't install it because the connector hose was corroded and they weren't able to remove it safely and didn't want the responsibility if something broke. We have a big family so that caused a lot of stress. These folks were nearby and had 4.8 stars here so I called them. They couldn't have been nicer. I was put on hold for a few minutes as they tried to find someone to come, and they said it would be as long as three hours, which was still great. They were here within 45 minutes. Their technician was polite and talked us through what was going on. He had it fixed within 30 minutes and even did some minor additional maintenance to make sure things worked better for us. He aslo suggested we buy an extension hose, which we did. Considering we had never used them before, they treated us like a long-standing customer. They will be our go-to going forward! Don was very flexible, showed up on time and looked over the whole situation at the house's incoming water line, not just the water heater itself. Water heater died, called around lunchtime and explained we wanted them to come out for a written quote. Appointment was made for 10AM the next day. They showed up at 8:45AM instead, throwing off my girlfriend who wasn't dressed/prepared and didn't have her contacts in yet. While discussing a quote, one of their trucks pulled up and unloaded a water heater in our driveway (talk about pressure!). Explained we're just getting a quote so they loaded it back up. Asked how much a 40 gallon would be instead of the 50 gallon and instead of giving an accurate quote, the guy just said "oh, it'd be around $50 less". Huh? How is that possible when the tank is probably ~$50 less, but the work to put in the 50 gallon is so much more considering the 50 gallon quote involved a lot of gas line re-working? Girlfriend was flustered and didn't get to ask some important questions before he took off to another appointment. From other reviews it sounds like they may do good work at reasonable prices, but I wasn't impressed with the quote service. read more

John from Enterprise was exactly what I wanted. Let me start with what I didn't want.....a franchise type place that I knew was ripping me off. John came within an hour of me calling. He put some shoe booties on without me asking, which i really appreciate. He diagnosed my problem, presented me with a quote that was a QUARTER of the cost of the quote I had gotten earlier that day. He had everything he needed in his truck so he fixed everything on the spot. On his way out I asked him to take a quick look at my disposal because it was making funky noises. He found a bobby pin (oops) and didn't charge me for that fix at all. GREAT non-pushy, HONEST service. I will for sure call again if I need a plumber. read more

Great company! This is a small business so they really want your business and will work for it! The plumbers, especially the owner, are all great and I have always had wonderful experiences. The owner is very involved and I know I can always trust this company to come into my home. Two hours later I received a phone call with my options to repair or replace. I chose to replace and Enterprise was at my house that afternoon to do the job. Just bought a home. Needed a water heater as one in house was dead. Someone in area referred Enterprise Plumbing, Inc. to me. They came in at the date I requested. They removed the old water heater, installed the new one. All works well. I asked them to bruing in and install "their" water heater. They didn't have an opportunity to review the installation location prior to arriving "on the spot". They did a good job. Shower is hot, sink water is hot. Called Enterprise on Saturday and spoke with Don the owner who said they could be at my house after 1:30 on Monday. They showed up right on time, and by my standards. that was a good thing. We went into the basement and discussed the obvious...my water heater was dead, but he also pointed out that the configuration of my dual water heater set-up was prone to put all the pressure on the first heater. He was right as this would be my third water heater. Don suggested I consider reconfiguring the piping so there would be equal work done by both heaters. He also suggested that I replace both heaters. There was no pressure to do any extra work other than replace the original water heater. He gave me an estimate breaking down the specific options, and I decided to go with the reconfiguration option. Don & Nick did a great job, everything was clean when completed, and he took time afterwards to walk me through their work. He also hooked up my AprilAire water line for nothing. I live in Elgin and had a leaky copper pipe under my kitchen sink, i looked through the reviews on Yelp and wanted to find a plumber with a high ranking and someone that accepts credit cards. So, i called at 6pm and figured i would get a voicemail, Don answered the phone and took down all my info and was super friendly and made an appointment for me. The office called, gave me a 3 hour window, and then the technician called me in the morning and wanted me to know he's running a little bit early and could he come by, very solid customer service skills. He arrived, gave me a free estimate, and it was actually less then i imagined since plumbers, heating and ac, etc etc are usually vampires and want to rip you off the first chance they get. I thought my estimate was very fair for the work that needed to be done. It's nice to see a company put the customer first and not try and take advantage of them. I will be a customer for life, which is really nice when you are a new home owner like me! read more
