Guess you can't trust anyone anymore, I needed a refrigerator water line hooked up and a water softener reprogrammed, when I called they said $140 an hour plus any parts they might need to replace. Little did I know there was hidden charges, charges of travel time, I was being charged before they even walked in to my home. They replaced a shut off valve and supposedly replaced my water line, must been dipped in gold because my 1 hour of them being here turned into $290! And I know for a fact they were there only an hour. And even on my receipt it says replaced valve and hooked up frig, nothing about a new line. never again will I be taken advantage of by these so called "plumbers"

There was a follow-up call to let me know that they were on their way and they arrived on-time. Everything was done with politeness and professionalism. They even answered all my silly questions from a homeowner that doesn't know much about plumbing. About a week later it became apparent that the drain clog which we thought was cleared had one more surprise in store for us. I called A&D for a return visit and they worked it out again. All has been good since then. They also reworked a bad drain pipe and installed a new faucet in my kitchen as well as installing a new faucet in my utility sink. These were jobs that I had been procrastinating about for years and I was glad that A&D was able to take care of them for me. Horrible experience…read more Initial problem: I bought a refrigerator from home Depo and needed a new T- line valve ran that home Depo required . Home Depo wanted a plastic line with a t valve installed . Plumbers: service plumbers came to the home and we agreed on work needed and price . After negotiating work. We agreed on a time and date . Installment: plumbers cut a hole in the wall and did not clean the mess or fix the hole . They also decide on their own behalf to not install the plastic waterline. They left the copper line and installed a turnoff where the refrigerator would be. When I asked them why they did that their reply was " it didn't need it and gave me the run around" . They also left their "tools" twice and had to come back to pick it up. Outcome: home depo came out to install the refrigerator and refused to install the water line . Called a different company and got the problem resolved . Advice: I'm a Feild tech also, I understand workmanship and code. To take the easy way out is not acceptable. Complete the job fully and move to the next . I am not satisfied with the work I received and will not be recommending their services to future company's or clients .

Requested toilet replacement due to bad flange on existing toilet creating sewer smell in bathroom…read moreand, if needed, a drain clean out. Waited a week for an afternoon appointment. Morning of appointment, plumber calls to reschedule to that morning due to a personal appointment he had scheduled that afternoon. We scramble to accommodate but inform that due to reschedule there's no one to help carry the toilet up and light of stairs. Instant attitude. Plumber arrives with helper, is rude, condescending, asking why we want the toilet replaced, I list the services requested. He then denys there's drain clean out requested while waving his phone around telling me I'll have to reschedule. There's an obvious sewer smell in the bathroom, yet he can't smell anything. I tell him that was the purpose for his being there. He again denies it's on the service request so I tell him I'll call husband, he states he'll go get the toilet. I'd had my husband on the phone listening to all of this the whole time when plumber arrived and started being rude to me. Told husband I wasn't going to have someone in my home that I'm paying for a service, that is being so rude to me, that now don't trust to do this service. He agreed. I went to garage and cancelled service. He tells me I owe him $59. I tell him I'll call his office, he repeats I owe him $59. I tell him I'm not paying him a dime, I'll call his office and to leave. He says some choice words, I tell him good luck at his Drs appt. While closing garage door. Handy more choice words, I then tell him to get off my property or I'm calling the police. He leaves, I go inside. Husband's still on the phone and heard everything. He's outraged and called their office. Plumber told then owner I was nasty to him, was told that my husband heard everything because he was on the phone with me the whole time. Apologies were said and he asked if he could send someone else out, we've declined their service.
