Primo brands recently bought up all the small Mom and pop water delivery services in the area. It…read morewas D'Angelo and then it was Century Springs which were all great and reliable but ever since Primo took over it's been terrible. They constantly get the deliveries wrong, then you call and sit on hold and get somebody from customer service to try to make things right. They will forget things on the delivery and then they send somebody back to bring what they forgot and charge you another delivery fee which again, you have to call and argue with customer service to try to get a credit on your account. Recently they've been having problems delivering in my area but no phone call no email no text, nothing to let you know so they just reschedule your delivery for a month down the road with no warning. I had to call customer service to try to figure out why no delivery was scheduled and they told me they were having problems delivering in my area, a little heads up would be nice. On top of that they just sent out an email saying that they're raising their prices, telling you that they're going to jack up the prices for such unreliable mismanaged service seems like a terrible idea. Fortunately, there are still a couple of small companies in the area that haven't been taken over and ruined by a big corporation. Seems like they are trying to corner the market and have a monopoly on water delivery so then they can charge whatever they want.

He got replaced sadly. The prices are ridiculous, but I guess that's what you can charge when there are no other water delivery services. The billing is so backwards, I pay, never missed a payment, but for some reason the billing is so cooky, that I'm just playing catch up??! - it doesn't make sense. How is my most recent bill for both July & August, but have also paid my bill in July & August? You call to ask and they explain it so unclear, you really don't get the answer as to why it's like that. I need a new water delivery service.

Similar story as Bitty B. and others. 20+ year customer who…read morecannot get water. There are literally NO future deliveries in my account. Apparently, they just gave up. FINALLY got a delivery from a small van, but only after pushing a supervisor and email customer service complaint. Hard. And ONLY after I advised them that they are withholding water from a customer with an urgent medical issue. I have had surgery and cannot simply run out and to the store while waiting for another non-existent delivery. After promising priority for the delivery, they - wait for it - canceled again. But ordered water actually showed up anyway, despite the cancel. Only received notice for the last day's worth of delivery screw-ups with my usual product claiming "out of stock" (hard to believe that EVERYONE's product is out of stock). No app, text or phone notify. Nothing. Zilch. Adding insult to injury, after changing to a substitute smaller bottle that was a recommended replacement from several phone agents - including a supervisor - the water that showed up may have been the same spring water we usually order, but it is NOT compatible our water cooler! If ANYONE would have CHECKED the account, bottles for our water cooler are ALL WE EVER ORDER! To summarize, a water company that stumbles all over themselves to NOT deliver water - which is their business. Thanks for the culligan suggestion. RIP Ice Mountain.

We initially looked into Costco and their recommended company, but were surprised when their quote was nearly double what we ultimately paid. That's when we called Culligan of Crystal Lake, and Stewart Gow came out to meet us, his license plate read "CLGN MAN," which made us smile. Stewart has been with Culligan for 20 years and it really shows. He never tried to upsell us or push anything we didn't need. Instead, he patiently explained the whole system, answered all our questions without any pressure, and gave us a straightforward price we felt great about. The installation was handled professionally, and after a week of using the system we couldn't be happier. Today, Stewart even stopped by to double check that everything was working perfectly. The other company offered a discount if we wrote a review before even using their product. This review, I'm writing because I'm genuinely thankful for the outstanding service, quality product, and personal touch we received from Stewart Gow and Culligan of Crystal Lake. Thank you!

I added salt, it softened the water. Comed power would come and go, I would reset the clock so that it would cycle at night. 22 years passed. It softened the water. Recently noticed a very slight change in water from activated carbon filter water in refrigerator (sourced directly from unsoftened water). Also started getting harder water in shower, Asked Culligan Water of Crystal Lake to inspect for their standard service fee. Tested the water and found that it was cycling correctly by testing the warm water (hard) and the cold water (soft), compared to the un-softened well water (really hard). Adjusted the cycle to run at 600 gallons instead of 800 gallons. Soft water again after the hard water finally cleared from water heater. Technician was super polite, technically strong, didn't want to sell me anything new, assured me that the system was working great and that they could service all but the flow meter (hasn't been manufactured for years, appears to be separate supplier - fleck). Very happy, hopefully won't have to call them again because the product just works that well. PS try to find a picture of a Mark 89 with a flow meter on the web. Rare as hen's teeth. From patent on flow meter, appears to be a very old Fleck.
