Rude and unacceptable for hanging up on me twice on the phone!
Jocelyn C.

This review has nothing to do with the service we got at the actual location, because we never made it there! So, this evening Sept 19th 2025 around 6:45pm. I called the place TWICE. BOTH times, the person picked up the phone & hung up BOTH times!! No hello, nothing, just "click!" Why did they do that??? I was actually really excited to make an appointment for what I was going to get off my Groupon deal for my couples massage, but NNOOO! They just killed my vibe. You may think this is a little issue, but this "llittle" rudeness goes a long way. Who ever hung up on me TWICE needs checking. Rude & unacceptable!! Not getting any business from me, sorry not sorry....

Private Spa / Sauna / Hot Tub

I found Water Lounge Spa on Groupon and called them to book the deal, and they will honor the Groupon price if you take a screenshot and just book with them on the phone! There is a parking lot behind this building designated for Water Lounge Spa patrons, which I greatly appreciated. I purchased a 30 minute hot tub session with 60 minute custom facial and 60 minute massage with essential oil and hot stones, and the total came out to $150. The hot tub was really nice and it comes with a shower that doubles as a sauna. I was a little skeptical of using the shampoo and conditioner that the shower comes with, but I did rinse off using the body wash that they provide prior to my massage out of respect for my masseuse. The massage was so comfortable, I nearly fell asleep. During my period in between the massage and facial, they took me to a couch where I was given water and crackers. The experience is heavenly, my facial included steaming, extractions, and a soothing herbal mask. I found my experience wholly worth it.

We booked a one-hour hydrotherapy session for two on Valentine's Day, selected Alice and Angela when reserving and paying online cuz it was required to select a staff member per person, but it was totally unnecessary, as the hot tubs are in individual rooms with a door we were able to lock to maintain privacy, and we encountered minimal staff interaction at arrival, just someone leading us to our hot tub room. The lobby was beautiful, with high ceilings and stylish furnishings in the lounge/waiting area. The hot tub room was simple but sufficient. It was spacious and consisted of one bench/seat, a few hooks for hanging garments, the hot tub with strong jets for the back and legs, and a shower/steam room combo (not as hot in there as an actual sauna, but again, it was sufficient for our needs). Liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner were available on the shower wall, and the restrooms on site provided hairdryers to use and individually wrapped disposable combs. We had a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, and would definitey recommend this spot for hydrotherapy. They also have a dedicated parking lot in the back for convenience (entrance on El Camino Real).

I visited Water Lounge Spa for the first time and already know I'll be coming back for more. I booked the full combo--30min private spa, 1hr deep tissue massage, & a 1hr facial-- & the entire experience was exactly what I needed. Not a long wait, although I had an apt. Many people in line ahead of me were purchasing large service packages so clearly, they're doing things right here. While it's not the most high-end location, the space is cozy, clean, & creates a genuinely relaxing ambiance. The private spa was such a peaceful moment to unwind, & the shower area was spotless with quality products provided. Alice gave me one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever had--no wonder she's in high demand. I walked out feeling completely refreshed. Cindy handled my facial, & it was incredibly calming and thorough. Both were professional, kind, & skilled at what they do. Overall, a very pleasant & restorative experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to relax, reset, & take care of yourself. I'll definitely be back!

The front desk gal was so welcoming and the rest of the staff too. We did the 30mins hot tub and 60mins massage. Birthday present from the Hubby and His close friend. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Massage and body scrub. Bigger shower area

Got here for an afternoon of me time. Started off with an hour of hot tub, followed by an hour of massage and 30 min of body scrub. I also tried the head treatment. The hot tub room is private with a good size of tub and a private shower area. It is pretty clean but the chlorine smell is a bit strong. The complimentary body wash is better than their Millbrae facility. Scrub and massage is in another room, which comes with a big shower area. Massage was okay. Scrub was nice with very fine salt. It was overall okay. They prep the shower for me here which is nice. Head treatment is in another room. I find the treatment to be okay and I likely won't get it again. The head treatment came with heavy head massage. At first, the lady used a small device (those cheap head massage tool) which didn't do anything for me. I asked for changing back to real massage which was a little better. The washing band (with arch) was comfortable. I passed out a bit. I likely won't get it from here again on the head treatment. Overall, value wise, it is pretty good here. But similar issues with the other facility. They accept walk ins. It is good on flexibility. But it is difficult to manage. When I was in the tub, they were supposed to knock 15 min before the end of the session. The notice should happen only once. But my door got knocked many times starting from 30 min mark. It turned out that they thought my session should have ended it earlier or they thought I was someone else? Similar things happened at the sauna room in Millbrae location. So yeah, you somewhat got what you paid for. I would recommend bring your own slippers here. Much easier. This is a better facility than Millbrae but it doesn't have the sauna over here.

Miro W.

Be aware and never buy their packages since they will not refund in proportion. Their service is overpriced comparing to others. Their scheduling is a completely disorganized, even you make appointments you usually wait 15 - 30 minutes. Their front desk is very unfriendly. Edited 10/6, please check attached screenshot to see how rude their manager is.

From the moment I arrived, Jasmine was warm, welcoming, and instantly made me feel like I could trust her--which made all the difference. The massage itself was way more intense than I anticipated--definitely not your average relaxing spa treatment. But Jasmine talked me through every step, explaining what she was doing and helping me understand exactly where my body was holding tension and inflammation. It hurt--but in the best, most productive way. Now? I'm addicted. I try to go at least once a week. We're actively breaking down hard fat, draining puffiness, and targeting areas that really need support. She has an amazing sense for where your body needs help and adjusts accordingly. Adding the hot stones was a perfect, relaxing touch. After just one session, my face looked noticeably less puffy and I felt like I was glowing. Jasmine is absolutely amazing. While I'm hooked on the lymphatic massage, I already know I need to come back just to try a Swedish!

Living in the East Bay (Yup, about an hour drive), I know I'll be making this trip as my new go-to…read morespot for a high-quality, 1-hour massages! On my first visit, I worked with Amy, who did an incredible job addressing the specific issues I noted on the intake diagram (my right ankle and left shoulder). She was very professional and asked upfront if she should focus on those areas or avoid them. I told her she could 'go hard' if she wanted; while she didn't overdo it, she maintained the perfect amount of consistent pressure to provide real relief to my shoulder. My ankle is a bit of a trickier issue from rolling it, but the steady pressure she applied really helped alleviate the tension for a while. My second visit was with Eva (I believe that was her name), and she was equally amazing. Like Amy, she checked the diagram first to confirm my focus areas. It's clear the staff here is trained to actually listen to both the intake notes and the client, which is an A+ in my book. The experience has been so consistent that my friend and I decided to go all-in on the 10-massage package. We'll definitely be coming back again and again. If you're looking for a place that actually pays attention to your recovery needs, this is it!

This was not too big of a deal, but just a minor inconvenience. Be sure to give yourself buffer time if you have plans afterwards. There are some street parking in front, but there's a lot in a back with ample space.

There are several preferences to choose from to help make your experience even better: -Length of massage -Pressure -Areas to work on -Areas to avoid Once we checked in, we walk to the back waiting area where they have tea, water and almonds.
