I recently had the pleasure of working with Water Heaters Plus to install a new hot water tank and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire process. From start to finish, the process was seamless, efficient, and the best part is they have baseline prices on their website so I knew what to expect the price to be. The process couldn't have been easier. Working with Jason on selecting a unit and getting the job scheduled was a breeze and the technician, Jeff, did a fantasti job installing the hot water tank and explaining the features of the unit. Thanks Jeff and Jason for making a stressful situation quite manageable. read more

Scott and Daniel were quick, friendly and super easy to work with. Daniel was right on time and they both were great at communicating with us on every aspect from the quote through installation. Always like to support local small companies and these two were fantastic! -Doug T. read more

Ekoue T helped us to replace our 20 year old water heater. He was on time, kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. He did thorough examinations after the work done and even cleaned the work site for us. Additionally, Water Heater Plus charges a reasonable fee and the lady on the phone explained the fee clearly upfront. I highly recommended this company for any plumbing work. read more

I called Dale via a reference from a local plumber. The sewer drain pipe was detached from our septic tank and was bleeding sewer water into the garden. Carlos, a plumber came by in an unmarked ambulance took an Estimate and came back within the hour to replace the piping and refit it to the septic tank drain It was drizzling, but he finished the job in about 45min and was $500 less than what a competitor estimated. read more

Water Heaters Plus came and replaced (at our request) our malfunctioning tankless water heater. The service technician was polite and professional and took extra time to ensure all the fittings were easily accessible for maintenance. Most importantly, we saved more than $6500.00 using Water Heaters Plus over another plumbing company for the exact same water heater. I cannot recommend Water Heaters Plus strongly enough. They may not have fancy painted trucks, but they do honest work and charge reasonable prices. read more

Daniel just replaced our hot water heater and knew to have the one that is used with our water softener. I had Landmark Home Warranty who wanted to send IKMAR plumbing who had changed names 3 times and had a slew of bad reviews and an F rating with BBB. I took the cash out and had Daniel and his Dad's company do the work. TOTALLY WONDERFUL, professional, and courteous. He gave us great advice re: warranty work, etc. I am very pleased with my decision. read more

Had a tankless heater installed yesterday. I could not be more happy with the install. They showed up on time! Sent a warning email I would be without water the night before install for a few hours. They cleaned up and removed the old heater. I filled up my soaking tub without running out of hot water for the first time ever! read more

I purchased two new toilets from Home Depot and included the installation, for convenience. After not having the units in working order for a few weeks prior, I was amazed at my excitement over having new toilets installed. [pretty funny!] Dave called on his way and within an hour had removed both units and installed both of the new ones. He was quick and the only thing I did was ensure the doors were open/closed to make his job a little easier. I appreciated that the job was done in good time and that he cleaned up after the job. Wonderful, for sure. I also appreciated that the company contacted me [via autodialer though] to follow up to make sure I was happy with the job. Even though it was a recorded message, I was provided with the information to contact them if someone had gone wrong or if I wasn't completely satisfied. From beginning to end, this was a very good experience and they provided a much-needed service. Thanks so much! read more

I've had work done by this company on three occasions. The first two times I was more than happy with Woody, who handled a problem with my tankless system. The most recent experience, also on a tankless system, constituted abysmal customer service. Woody was unable to come out to take a look at my system. They sent someone else. He did not arrive on time. He indicated that the system needed a new part and he would order the part and get back to me. A week later, I didn't hear anything, called the office and they were helpful but as clueless as I was. It was to the point where I was calling frequently to find out why no one was returning calls. The person in the office did her best to get information but we were both left clueless and she kept stating how embarrassed she was. When the technician finally did call, he asked for information about the system which I provided within 48 hrs. It has been easily 4 months since I first called and I have heard nothing. Frankly, I consider this customer disservice. I called Atlas Butler, who now provides plumbing and service for tankless systems and have been more than satisfied by their customer service. I may be paying more but I know if there's a problem they will be here. read more

If I could give zero stars I surely would. This company is awful. Do not use them. In fact, use anyone but them. First they installed a defective part. Then left us for six days in below freezing temperatures with no hot water. We are in our nineties. This did not bother them at all. They did not return our calls inquiring when the correct part could be installed. When we finally got through to them on the phone they were adamant they couldn't possibly fit us into the schedule for at least another day. TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE COMPANY DO NOT USE read more

No thanks to this company, I got my water heater replaced recently.. by someone who actually wanted new business and took customer service seriously. After my initial review of Water Heaters Plus (7 MONTHS AFTER... clearly they didn't find their failure important) they sent me a message, supposedly from the business owner himself- indicating a total ignorance of what I wrote in my first review and what actually happened that caused me to write it. Business owners, reading and actually understanding a review before responding to it is important- anything less makes you seem unintelligent. It would be wise to go through Lowe's and obtain access to a contractor that is held to acceptable standards of customer service. In this part of Columbus, you won't find a better option unless you can DIY or your friends / family can. Home Depot only offered one choice of contractor and unfortunately that is Water Heaters Plus. read more

Oh how I wish I had looked up this company on Yelp before I called them. Recently we got up and realized we had no hot water. Since we have had plumbers and drain specialists here before I looked to see if we had a card from one. Even though we didn't remember this company doing any work for us we had their card so I called. I told the lady who answered we needed someone to come out that day. She sent David by 11:30am. He looked at the tank, said it looked good and would order a part. That was the last we heard from him. We called his cell later and he told us he was going to order the part. The next day we had not heard so called his cell and he said he was going to order the part. The next day we called his cell and he said he was 'just' going to order that part. I told him we were done. He said nothing . Six days we had no hot water because we trusted him. Called another company they came right out and installed a new tank. read more

If customer service is important to you, find another plumbing company! I've now been burned twice by these people when it comes to scheduling installation services. The first time was for a new water heater. I was told it would be installed on a certain day & time so I made arrangements for someone to be at the house. Water Heaters Plus never came & never called. When I called them the next day I was told I wasn't on the schedule. The second time was just this week when I was to be contacted within 2 business days to have a new toilet installation scheduled. I had not been contacted by 3:30 on the 2nd business day so I contacted them & was told I would receive a call by end of business today. It's now past 5:00 & still no call. Both installations were through Lowe's. read more

Bill K. was my technician today installing a hot water tank. Bill was easy going and showed me the entire process. He was a hard worker and exemplified craftsmanship and customer service. He was contracted through Home Depot. I was so upset because the wrong hot water tank was brought the day before and was rude to him. I had went 4 days without hot water! I felt terrible after seeing how hard he worked. Water Heaters Plus is VERY lucky to have a skilled tradesman like Bill K. read more

On Thursday, 1/26/17, I realized that my sump pump must have died a while ago because the reservoir in which is sits was completely filled with rain water and was starting to spill over onto my basement floor. I called Water Heaters Plus, my go-to plumber, but it was after hours and I got a recording that included an emergency number for a plumber. So I called it and left my number for the plumber to call me back. After an hour, there was still no call back. So I called Roto-Rooter, and a plumber showed up in less than an hour. Problem solved. Today is 1/30/17, and I have yet to receive a call back from Water Heaters Plus' emergency line. I'm just saying. Form your own opinions of this company. read more

Water Heaters Plus wanted more money than my deductible from the home warranty company to replace the water heater. It was a Friday and they did not have any parts or an extra tank to replace (even though ) they said it needed to be replaced and had the model number and serial number of the current unit PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. Thought they might get it completed on Monday. NOT HAPPY! Told them I would not pay my deductible and replaced the tank myself with a friend that night. Guess they bought that big truck to carry....nothing. Hmmmm just plain wrong. M.E. read more

I had my Bradford White water heater installed by water heaters Plus three years ago. It failed this morning. I called Water Heaters Plus and she told me to call Bradford White. we don't do warranty work. Very disappointed in this company. Even though my water heater was clearly under warranty they did not want to deal with it. read more

Thank You Bob, for correcting a problem with what we thought was a water heater leaking, turned out to be our air conditioner condensation, You were wonderful and restored our faith with Water Heaters Plus. Thank you for figuring out the problem! Sincerely, Debra and her Mother. read more

Worst customer service ever. Purchased 2 - 50 gallon tanks from Home Depot. One has had repeated problems finally needing a new part (which was under warranty, thankfully for GE). No one could explain why I was being billed the amount I was billed. 3 phone calls yet to be returned. Between the service charges, diagnostic charges and labor charges, I probably could have paid for the warrantied item somewhere else and had it installed. Everything was an argument. I asked if the new part had a warranty/guarantee. Three answers in sixty seconds: "No, your water heater is under warranty", "Yes, for ninety days", and "No". I was so uncomfortable with his argumentative nature...in my own home. His last statement was the best, "We don't have any thing to do with your water heater." Take him at his word. DON'T LET HIM HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR WATER HEATER!! If you are an honest company, you can easily explain your billing. Do not use this company. Home Depot should offer better. read more

ANTHONY came out, he told my wife that he sells cell phones on the side for extra money. Anthony said he needed to use the restroom, so my wife left him alone in the bathroom, with her cellphone. When he left she noticed her phone missing, so she proceeded to call it, she tracked it via GPS , which showed it traveling away from the house, she called it ...it rang a few times and then was shut off. She called the plumber and told him the cell phone was gone and he was the only one there that could have done anything with it . He denied anything to do with it being missing and said he hadn't even seen it. After he found out it was being tracked by the agency my wife worked for he freaked out, and immediately brought it back to her SIM CARD REMOVED, SCREEN CRACKED.. later on found out an expensive watch was also missing from master bathroom, called his boss twice, and have not received a call back or even any concern or apology! It's been about 2 weeks . Don't give these people your money read more

I am reluctant to even give this one star. I had the WORSE experience with this company. They were contracted out through Home Depot. We had just moved into our new home one week prior and had an active leak in the Utility Room. When Scott arrived, it was storming outside and he walked right into our home with no booties on his work boots. He took no more than 5 seconds to take a look at the utility room and said he was going to switch out the hot water tank. He was rude, and fought with me about the standards and codes they have to follow about having a tray under the water heater. I told him I had one but it was the wrong size, so I asked to go purchase one while he was still working and he said he didnt have time because he had other places to be. When he realized he had the wrong size water tank for our size utility room, he decided to tell me that the codes didn't need to be followed. When finished, he said I needed to sign forms, and pay him. I asked for copies and he said he didnt have any for me. Then I asked him to check to see if the leak was fixed and he said it was and walked out the door. So, thirty minutes later I went downstairs to check the utility closet and it was flooded. So all I was left with was NO paperwork and still an active leak, after taking off half the work day. I was beyond frustrated. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT having this company coming to your house. read more

I was in need of a water heater replacement and they communicated throughout the day as to progress and timing. Bill arrived before 6pm and worked very hard to install both tanks. He was thorough and polite and worked until almost 10pm. He cleaned up and walked me through the operation of the tanks. Kudos on a job well done. read more

I bought a water heater through Home Depot and asked abut installation. They said they have a company that does there water heater installs. A company called water heaters plus. I agreed and bought a water heater and set up a installation date. The total cost was determined and agreed upon. The day of my install the contracter showed up on time. Everything was going great untill he said ok finished now its time to do the paper work. I asked why the cost was more than what was determinded earlier at Home Depot. He said oh I put it on your paperwork there was a 85.00 dollar fee for a drain pan and a 135.00 fee for confined space. Neither of these extra cost were disscussed at any time untill the work was done and on my invoice. I questioned it and was told that there was a list of additional fees that can be put on top of your installation price. I asked to see the list and there are at least 10 additional things that they can charge you for that they can pull out of thin air anytime they choose to. Example there was a line that said confined space 135.00 but no dimensions saying what is considered a confined space. Do your homework and ask up front what additional fees are there going to be. This company is not recomended by me. Lowes also uses this company for there water heater installs. read more
