I did my typical extensive research to get at least 5 quotes, read social media reviews, asking for referrals, compare to self-installation, etc. and you will not find better service, quality, or price. No up-selling or pressure. In fact, the information he gave me on gas options convinced me to go with a 40 gallon instead of a 50 gallon which costs less and is more efficient. Seriously, call them. Jim (the owner) is awesome. While I was out of town, my home's water heater sprung a leak which left my wife to deal with the problem and take care of our young toddler at the same time. Jim was very patient talking to me and my wife over the phone. Although he could not come out that same night, he talked my wife through the process of shutting off the water line to the hot water heater and draining the hot water heater tank to minimize further water damage. The next morning, Jim promptly arrived at the house as promised. He installed a new hot water heater and a drip pan in no time. He cleaned up the work area so well that you could not tell that anyone worked on the water heater. He was very professional in his work and checked his work to make sure there would be no lingering problems. Called Jim on a Tuesday. Gave me an exact price out the door but due to schedule and injury couldn't promise me he could make it until Friday at the earliest but gave me other places to call. I appreciated that enough to do some research on Yelp and BBB and what I found kept me from calling anyone else. I'm glad I didn't. Jim is an honest and stand up guy. When my water heater went out this morning, I called around to get quotes from several companies but they all refused to give me a price over the phone. They said they had to send a guy out to look at it first. The 2 guys I had come out gave me ridiculous quotes of $1100 to $1500 and kept pointing out all the problems, and pieces that needed to be replaced, trying to up-sell and increase the price. I had a 18 year old Rheem electric water heater that finally gave it's last breath. Jim gave me a quote over the phone and came out the next morning. Needed new water heater before listing house for sell. Called Jim and got a firm quote, $640 for a 50 Gallon tank, including all parts, and a pan. Jim arrived on time the following day and installed the tank with all new fittings, along with some copper pipe cutting along with some welding. The price originally quoted never varied and it was a pleasure to deal with someone reliable who runs a small business. Like earlier reviewers, I needed a new water heater because of a leak that started (I think) about a couple days before posting this. I didn't know it, but was real bad and I'm lucky it didn't get any worse than it already was. Water had started to leak from the top and the bottom, and at the top it was getting into the electrical. Like I said, I didn't know the complete details of the leak until Jim arrived. I called today (Sunday) and initially it went straight to voicemail. After leaving a message, Jim called back immediately. After briefly discussing a few things, he said he'll be over in an hour or so and requested I send some pictures so he could confirm the type of water heater he needed to bring. Once he got here (around noon), he replaced the tank quicker than I ever could have if I dared try and efficiently as possible. He was very professional and courteous, even thanking me for my time when it was really me who should be thanking him. Per his website and him talking about it, he quoted me at $640 and didn't try to up charge or what have you. I did have an issue with my card(s) being declined. We finally figured it out but he was calm and collected, while I was getting very worried. Thankfully everything worked out. Upon leaving Jim explained some things about the water heater and how one generally doesn't have to worry about them for a certain length of time. I found this company online while searching for a local business that was affordable, and had good reviews. Jim arrived on time. He went out of his way to correct some issues with the supply line that had a soldered hole from a previously installed saddle valve for the evaporative cooler. The guy was planning on taking the weekend off due to his back being sore but an appointment moved to Saturday and left Friday morning open for us to have him come out. He did it all in one visit. He was prepared and had everything necessary to complete the installation and removal of the old water heater. We purchased the water heater from him and it was exactly as described as well as total price including tax. He provided some free instructions on hooking up the evaporative cooler in the future when I was ready to do it myself. He cleaned up the area before departure after checking that we had hot water. A water heater at Home Depot or Lowes was running around $400 to $500 and that was picking it up at the store and installing ourselves. His price was $620 if paid in cash, and the water heater is a Reem Pro E-50m. Hire again? Absolutely. Recommend? Absolutely. read more

I really like the self employed one-man shows so I was very happy to find Jim here. Very affable and honest over the phone, his website lays everything out for you, he's prompt at returning calls and knows to ask the right questions so customer's expectations are set in advance -- just spend a few minutes answering his questions, it's worthwhile. He helped my Dad get his water heater replaced the next day after it leaked, even took off $20 when he found out he didn't need to replace something and installed an extra part for free because he felt it would be better for the customer. My water heater suddenly blew causing a large water leak this morning (Sunday)! I figured it would be hard to find someone to replace it today, but I really needed it done. I began searching for a company to replace it, and found Water Heaters 4 Less with 5 star reviews on both Yelp and Google. So I called Jim, the owner, at 9 AM, and he called me back within 30 minutes. He said he was going to take the day off today, but because I lived fairly close to him, he would be able to replace my water heater today. After asking me a few questions about my water heater, he said he could be at my house by 11:30 AM! He arrived early with his son to help, and replaced the water heater in 90 minutes. He even fixed some issues the builder had done incorrectly when they installed it. The builder had positioned the water heater up against a wall, making it impossible to position a drip pain underneath....the drip pain would have been extremely useful this morning when the water heater blew. Anyway, Jim repositioned the water heater, allowing him to place a drip pan underneath to prevent any future leaks from damaging the drywall. He really went the extra mile and did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company! read more
