I needed a hot water heater due to selling my condo. Jim came out and installed a brand new, beautiful water heater in no time. He was honest and upfront about what I needed and no bs! The price was outstanding, beating anywhere else! I recommend giving him a call, you can't get better service than here! I give 10 stars for the service, professionalism, honesty and affordability! read more

Water Heaters 4 Less - Brand new with warranty Rheem hot water heater! - Water Heater Installation/Repair Near Me

It has been a couple of months since Jim and his son came out to my place and replaced our worn-out, leaking old water heater. I just realized I never came back to the place I found them (yelp) to give them the wonderful review that they strongly deserve. It is clear from the first phone call until the service is complete (and long after) that you are getting top notch workmanship, high quality products and even essential upgrades to sub par system components that Jim just won't leave you stuck with, weather you know better or not. All this and they charge the lowest price I could find (and I shopped around.) Quite honestly, I feel like they deserved more than they charged and that is why I wanted to come back and say, if you are in need of a water heater repair/replacement and you don't call these guys, you are missing out. read more

Jim's 5 star reviews continue. He was AWESOME! Very responsive and the price he charged was ACTUALLY LESS than what he quoted on the website and on the phone. He advised if you pay cash, it was $40.00 LESS than what is on the website and quoted on the phone. I wasn't there for the install myself, but he texted me a picture of the installed water heater and told me this one is a bit more energy efficient than my old 8.5 year old one that went south. I appreciate his responsiveness even after it was completed and he had his payment. I would NOT hesitate to recommend him to my friends or family that are in need of a new water heater! Way to go Jim and Water Heaters 4 Less! Keep it up! read more

I was lucky to find Jim by searching for cheap water heater replacement on Google. Of course I had my hesitation at first but after seeing his reviews around the web, decided to give him a call. After leaving him a voicemail, Jim returned my call promptly and advised me he could be out by next morning. Once getting Jim the information he needed, he came out the next day with a 40 Gallon natural gas Water heater for my house. Jim carried a Rheem brand water heater for my needs. After reading the reviews out there for different brands, it made me very comfortable knowing that Jim carried Rheem. Jim had my water heater removed, the new one installed and the old one hauled away in just two hours. He provided one nice flat fee that included the water heater, the typical parts needed and even a drip pan (which I didn't have before and wish I had!). Thanks to Jim, the process was quick and painless and I couldn't be happier. I am going on almost two weeks with my new Rheem water heater as of this review and it has been running perfectly since Jim installed! Thanks Jim! read more

After spending the last 24 hours dealing with a different unscrupulous company (read my review of Just Plumbing Services), I'm very happy I found Jim at Water Heaters 4 less. He was able to come out early this morning to replace my broken water heater. He did this with a smile on his face and a with a price I couldn't find lower. He also includes extra's that other companies were charging over the top prices on. Would highly recommend Jim and his company to anyone in the valley who is in need of having their water heater replaced. Nice to know some companies still have respect for their customers. read more

This is the second time I have had to call Jim for his services. Man just as impressed as the first time. He is honest and fair with his prices. A different company wanted to charge me close to an extra $1k on top of the cost of the water heater to install. Will never use anyone else but Jim read more

WHY there are only 9 reviews (as of this review) for 'Water Heaters 4 Less' is a mystery to ME!!! This guy is FANTASTIC!!! Listen "person-trying-to-get-a-new-hot-water-heater" DON'T CALL ANYONE ELSE, I'm telling you! Just call this guy. He is sooooo absolutely professional it's not even funny. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Jim. Nice guy, friendly, did I say 'professional'? Profession! Installed a beautiful new unit for me, complete with pan, new piping, the whole nine yards. I'm very happy with the work he did. He showed up RIGHT on time, called to say he was outside and went right to work on the install. He also showed me how to adjust the unit in a way that made sense and that I'm not likely to forget or would fear - hot water heaters can be scary... to me... but not now - Thanks to Jim. Such a cool guy doing hot stuff! : ) read more

Leaking water heater and failed shut off valve shut my house down overnight. Based on Yelp reviews I called Jim who returned my call promptly. After describing the problem he graciously attempted to help me get the water heater replaced for free via Sears warranty (note: he wouldn't have made a penny from that). After dealing with Sears it was clear they couldn't fix the issue for several days. I called Jim back and he arrived within an hour and got everything replaced and cleaned up quickly. Very fair predetermined prices published on his website. Highly recommended. Thanks! read more

This guy is SUPER! Jim is a very nice, knowledgeable water heater guru. His prices are as good as it gets but the way Jim conducts his business is even better. I was very blessed to get such great, prompt service. You'll need to call this guy to get a quote. Be sure you do before you go with anyone else! He will respond to your call but not social media. You won't be sorry you went with Jim! read more

Great service, quality product and installation. I would recommend these folks. The water heater is great quality and the installation was great too. Yelp needs more words on the review for some reason. read more

Really good guys. Jim and his son were great to work with. -Easy to get a hold of -Confirmed the appt the night before -On time -Friendly -Provided more than one option -Clean and quick install -Great price read more

Great service and an excellent price. I did the math and it was about $100 more than the cost of buying one from Homedepot without installation. Having a water heater delivered and installed for only $100-$120 over the cost of doing it yourself is well worth it. I called around and other companies were charging $200 more. If you want a water heater at a fair price this your place. read more

Great service and great price. My 11-year old water heater blew out, I called Jim about 8am Monday, texted picture of old heater to him, and he was on-site by about 10am. Replaced heater, new water pipes and valve, new pressure relief line, new gas line, new drain pan, cleaned up, hauled away old one and fired it up before noon. Total cost was only a little more than what it would have cost to just buy a replacement at Home Depot. I highly recommend Jim and Water Heaters 4 Less. read more

You really shouldn't go anywhere else for water heater replacement. I used him for my mom's place and today, mine decided to crap out on me. I forgot his contact info and by luck, I called him through Yelp. Came right away on a Sunday. Since I am a repeat customer and paid cash, got a nice discount. Jim was very communicative and his job was excellent. I am going to refer his services going forward. Thanks again. read more

Jim was super nice and price was what it states on website. He did a great job and fixed fittings that were not right and didn't charge extra because he has pride in his work. I highly recommend this company for water heaters. read more

We thought our water heater might need to be replaced since it was 6 1/2 years old when we saw the pressure relief had released a small amount of calcified water. We were especially concerned with the holidays approaching. We found great reviews for Water Heaters 4 Less on Yelp and gave them a call. Gordon promptly called back . He was out of town but asked that I text him a picture of the water heater. After inspecting the picture he said it might only be the pressure relief valve and gave me Richard's number to call. Richard came out the following Monday, checked the valve and the water pressure. He said the pressure was good and the valve was working as it should and did not appear to be broken. He said to call if there was a steady flow from the valve or any other issues. No charge....amazing nowadays! They have my business for sure when needed. read more

Wow Jim is AMAZING! We called him right at 7am because our water heater was leaking and there were pools of water everywhere. He came within the hour and replaced it in an hour! Jim is the best in the biz. He went out of his way to keep me happy today. We experienced some equipment malfunctions and Jim drove clear across town twice to get what he needed to make things right and complete the job. I appreciate Jim's honesty and professionalism. Jim is the guy to call for a water heater. For a price that was about 60% of what was quoted by a plumbing company, Jim responded quickly and did a quality job. We were lucky enough to get same-day service because he happened to be on our side of town and happened to have a compatible new water heater in his truck. Nearly 2 years later the water heater has been working great! read more

I'm normally a DIY guy first, because when I've got a problem around the house I'd rather just fix it myself instead of trying to call contractors, get bids, schedule time off, and all of that headache. So when my electric water heater stopped working, I had originally planned on replacing the elements and thermostat. Once I got the panels opened up, I saw a rusty wet mess and realized that after 17 years, my old heater was just plain done. I thought about swapping it myself, but decided to at least look around at just having it replaced. Jim has his pricing laid out extremely clearly on his website, right down to listing out all of the things he includes with a new installation, like the drip pan and supply lines. On top of that, he brings the new heater to you, and hauls the old one away. I don't have a truck big enough to do that, so I'd also have to add either a truck or trailer rental, along with dump fees, just to get the new heater home and the old heater gone. All told, I maybe spent in the range of $100-$120 over a DIY job, and all I had to do was clear a path in the garage. All it took to schedule Jim was one phone call, followed by texting him a few photos of the existing heater and work area. He was flexible on scheduling, showed up right at the time we agreed on, and got right to work. He's got a few tricks up his sleeve getting an old sediment-filled water heater to drain without making a big mess in the process. Jim got the old heater disconnected and removed, cleaned up some of the damage the old heater left, and soldered on new supply lines, a new supply valve, and extended the pressure relief line to fit the slightly taller new heater. Less than two hours start to finish, and true to his word the final bill was exactly what is laid out on his site. I have hot water again, and better yet, the peace of mind that I no longer have a ticking time bomb waiting to flood my garage. Thank you again Jim for reminding me that there is a very real value to paying someone who knows how to get it done the right time the first time! I could not be happier with the whole process. read more

As an ex-contractor I'm careful with whom I let into my house. I had a 14-year old hot water tank and knew its day's were numbered. Called Jim last week after finding his ad on the web and getting 2 other quotes. Jim quickly took my call, was easy to talk with, answered my questions, and we were able to set-up a date and time convenient for me and my family. Jim arrived this morning EARLY (by a few minutes as opposed to many who show up late and have an excuse), walked me through what he was going to do and went to it. As I went out to check on him he kept me apprised of what was transpiring, made some recommendations, and knocked the work out. No upselling. No guilt on not taking better care of my tank. No brow beating of how DIFFICULT it was and how much MONEY he COULD HAVE charged. Nah. He thanked me for my business and said to call if I ever needed anything. That's 5-stars in my book! Thanks Jim. read more

Jim came out July 2016 (yes, I'm late in writing my review!), and got the job done quickly and inexpensively. I had such a wonderful experience that I made a note to give him 5 stars, and have obviously felt it long enough to not discard the note in an attempt to keep good on it. FIVE STARS! Thanks, Jim! read more

All the positive reviews are right on track. Jim replaced our WH about a week ago. His price was very fair and the quality of the materials and his installation was top notch! His experience in what he does definitely shows. My initial call went to voice mail. He was quick to call me back and talk me thru the pricing. He was able to schedule an appointment that was convenient for both us and him. Jim had us text him pictures of our current set up so he would know exactly what to expect and what he needed when he arrived. The install took approximately 2 hours and we enjoyed talking to him while he worked. We definitely recommend him to anyone needing a water heater. I just hope he is still in business the next time we need his services. He's a great guy!! read more

Our water heater leaked the morning we were leaving on vacation. Called Jim on a Sunday to schedule a Thursday morning appointment (the day we got back) and wasn't expecting a callback until Monday. However, Jim responded shortly via phone, and after a few rounds of texts showing him the heater and its location, he said he was all set. I was a bit worried that when we got back that I would get a call like "oh, sorry ..." or "I can't make it", or worse, a no show. Luckily, that was not the case. I texted him when we were driving home from the airport to say we could do it about 30 mins earlier if he was able to, and true to his word, he showed up and was ready to go. During the install, I found that Jim was experienced, knowledgeable, efficent, and polite. There was no upselling, and I never felt that Jim was not being 100% truthful. The install came out great, they were in-and-out in about an hour and a half, and we had hot water. I would not hesitate to call Jim again for another installation and highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a water heater replaced. read more

Jim is the real deal. Grade A+++ all around. Communication, price and execution cannot be better. I called Jim on Friday afternoon and he showed up on Saturday. He brought his college age son (classy kid, future Air Force Airman...) to help him. Cleanup was great and Jim took the time to explain the water heater features and dial settings in detail (no need to read the manual that he left with the unit :) , I hate reading manuals). The product that he installed (Rheem 50 gallon gas fired WH) is of high quality; I am looking forward to many years of trouble free service. One note, my water heater was the original builder install in 2007 (~ 7 to 8 years old). I decided to replace it proactively as I had started to see residue around one of the drain ports. Once Jim and his son had my old unit out, they showed me the rusty feet that were in the back and they said that I made the right call as the until was getting close to collapsing and that would not have been good. If you see leakage/rust, I would recommend a call to Jim and have him come out for an inspection. Jim, I will be calling you again in ~8 years when I proactively replace my water heater once again. read more
