Pricing was a little high, but the plumber was able to fix an electrical fault with the new disposal unit on the fly, which I was super impressed by! The new unit wouldn't turn on despite the old one still turning on, and when they fixed the electrical fixings inside the new unit it worked right away. Plumbers like DJ are top notch in their field and understand the equipment very well! They installed the InSinkErator Badger 500, which cost roughly $125 for parts plus $500 for labor. So you pay a bit of a premium, but you get a high quality job. Paying was easy and could be done online or over the phone.

This is a family owned and operated business in Mililani that specialize in water heaters. They are fast, friendly and efficient and even haul away your old heater at no extra cost, what more can you ask for!? I called Friday morning around 8:30am and they were at my place around 12:30pm. Come to find out my water heater was less than 6 years old. They offered to stop working at no charge if I wanted to reach out to the previous installer since I should be under warranty. I declined because my experience with the previous company wasn't the best and they were already there. Martin offered a $100 discount because he felt bad that we were having to get a new water heater so soon. I was very grateful for his kindness and it made me even happier that I was able to support this small family run local business. The job was done in about an hour and Martin even helped me register my water heater online. He told me I had a 6 year warranty on the heater and 2 year warranty on labor. I will definitely reach out to Air-O-Smith again with any future water heater needs and have already referred one of my neighbors. If you have a need for a new water heater or your current heater needs repair please use this company, they are wonderful people and great at what they do!

She said they wouldn't be able to schedule anything til the following week, but she'd call me back Monday. Never got a call all day, so I called Tuesday 5/12 to follow up. As I refreshed her memory about my inquiry, she found her notes & said she hadn't talked to Martin about it yet. She said she'd talk to him later that day & call me back. Well, it's now 5/18, and I still have not received a call back from them. I guess they're too busy to deal with my leak. If that's the case, I would've called other companies to come out. I will NOT be using them again, nor will I refer anyone to them. Louise should have a better system for her note taking / follow ups.

The bottom of my toilet cracked on Friday night and flooded my bathroom. I called for emergency…read moreservices. I paid a $180 consult fee and was assured that the technicians try to fix the problem when they come down including changing toilets. The technician comes down and gives me an estimate of a bandaid fix that may not work that he can perform that night for $800 or I can get the toilet replaced for $2700 on Monday. Although it sounded really expensive I figured I would pay it and get it done with asap and thought I'm paying for the convenience and getting it fixed quickly. So I paid a 25% non refundable deposit for that amount which was $600. I get a call 30 mins before the scheduled time on Monday when I already called the night before to confirm my appt. The rep even stated he would call me back once he made sure of my appt time. I received no such call. So 30 minutes before my appt he calls me and says the tech is running late and wants to reschedule to Wednesday. I had no other option than to agree. Then I had time to read more reviews on yelp and realized this company overcharging is normal and they even comeback and offer lower amounts when refused. I then check with 2 other plumbers and ChatGPT that all quoted me less than triple the estimate at this company. A toilet cost $200 or less. I felt completely ripped off and on top of that if they are constantly rescheduling and it wasn't even done on the day I wanted it done, what is the point of overpaying? Now I'm installing the toilet myself for the cost of a $240 toilet with tools from work. And I basically paid this company $800 for absolutely nothing. I even called yesterday to see if they would be willing to waive the emergency fee as they don't do any actual work and the rep said she would call me back the next day after talking to management and again I received no such call....I even asked when the tech was here, if it's going to flood again before they come and work on it and the technician said, "I don't think so" "did you shut off the valve?" So wtf am I paying for? I knew to shut off the valve myself... he didn't do anything while he was here besides look at the toilet and be quick to collect his deposit...This feels like a complete scam....ripping off kama'aina one family at a time. Very nice. Out $800 for this completely doing absolutely nothing besides not following through on their promises of calling me back and breaking their appt dates. Please save yourselves . Go with another company.
