Found Axess after having gone through maybe 3 other dry cleaners, and I've gone back thrice. The first time, I brought in a shirt that I thought I had irreparably damaged because I didn't realize it was dry clean only and tossed it into the wash. The material is part silk. Let's just say an...unsavory white stain was splashed across the front and no amount of washing (still didn't dry clean) after got rid of it. I don't know if it's Axess or dry cleaning, but that stain is now gone. Based on that alone I've gone back twice more. All of my clothes come back nice, clean, and pressed - from scarves to dresses to suits to cosplay made out of delicately embroidered fabric from China. Considering the previous dry cleaners returned my clothes with strange stains, melted buttons, and unsavory smells, I might just make Axess my primary dry cleaner's for the quality and the customer service (a lady and a gentleman, both of whom were very nice to me). Four stars because my scarves didn't feel as smooth but they were nice and clean (I may have used them as a mouth guard when I fell ill during the terrible flu season this year) so I'll take it. read more

I came across this gem by accident. Although live in SF, I had to come down for an event in the South Bay. I usually go to my moms dry cleaners in Los Gatos but I was in a hurry, it was too far & couldn't find any that seemed legit. Thank God for Yelp! A young man by the name Michael, serviced me. I had to return to work, and didn't have time to come back so they dropped off my garments at my work which is awesome & so convenient! Definitely takes customer service to another caliber. They have extremely fair pricing even though it was last minute. Now all of this with the delivery service they gave me really made me stick around. I only wish they had a spot here in SF. Free pick up and delivery for people that may not always have access to a car is a huge thing especially in SF. I strongly suggest everyone give these guys a try!! I was very disappointed with my service with Axess Cleaners. I wanted to get my wedding gown professionally clean and preserved. And after much research and seeing all the high yelp reviews Axess received, I decided to give them a try. I dropped off my gown the last weekend of June, and I was told it will be professionally clean, preserved and deliver to my home in about 4 to 6 weeks. Believing that they will take good care of my wedding gown, I paid $250 for their platinum service based on the manager's suggestion since my gown has lots of beadings. I wrote down all my contact info on their new account card and the manager inputted my info into the computer, opened up an account for me and printed out a receipt which I saw him attached to the gown. He also wrote down my husband's last name on the tag because their gown preservation service includes a personalized message attached to the box, which I thought was a very sweet touch (it'd say something like "Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. ___") Since the time I dropped off my gown, I've gone back to Axess 2 other times for their regular dry cleaning service under the same account with no issues. Then 2 months went by and I have not received a single phone call from them. I read from another yelp review that the client had also purchased Axess's gown preservation service received regular follow up phone calls from Axess, keeping her updated on the progress. But I never heard from Axess. I finally gave them a call to find out what's going on with my wedding gown. I left a message and received a phone call from a woman telling me that she couldn't find my gown under my account! You can only imagine how horrible that feels. A wedding gown is probably THE MOST important gown any woman would own in her lifetime, can you imagine how it'd feel to find out it's lost!!! I was beyond livid and worried that they had lost my gown. So then she tells me there is a gown that's unclaimed and had been sitting around for awhile. She said she can't be sure if it's my gown and asked me to go to the store to check it out. I was so shocked that she would ask me to drive all the way to their store just to check to see if the random gown is mine when she's not even sure herself, why would I want to waste my time, gas and effort to go their store just to check out some random dress?? Anyhow, she told me she'll figure something out and I heard back from her the next day when she decided to text message a photo of the gown that's been sitting around. It turned out it was my gown (Thank Goddess!!!). They had it delivered to me and when I received the gown, I looked at the box and the first time I saw was the personalized message, instead of a nicely typed up personalized message I'm supposed to received that I've seen samples of at their store, it was a hand written message hastily stuck on the front of the shipping box instead of under the certificate on the back of the gown box! And it had the wrong last name written on it!!! Oh I was so mad! Overall, I just had a very bad experience. To almost having my wedding gown lost and receiving such a sub-par service. I expected excellent service based on all the great reviews and for the amount of money I paid them, and I just couldn't believe how it turned out. I expected them to take wedding gown cleaning service more seriously than an ordinary piece of clothing, knowing what a special item it is; it's worn for one of the most important days of a woman's life and it has so many memories attached to it, I expected them to handle it with care and be more sensitive with it. If there's a gown that is unclaimed for awhile, shouldn't they try to look up the time of which it was submitted for cleaning and try to backtrack it to its owner? I just felt like they didn't put in enough of an effort to track down the gown and do their due diligent for the service I paid them for. read more

This is my first Yelp review as my experience was so poor here that people need to know to stay clear from this business. I see some positive reviews here but these people have yet to be duped by the dishonest owner, Michael. I dropped off a suit jacket three weeks in advance as I needed it cleaned in order to be a groomsman in my friend's wedding. I thought dropping it off two and a half weeks in advance would be plenty of lead time. I checked on the jacket a week after I dropped it off as they are normally pretty quick. When I went to check the status they assured me it would be done within the next couple days. Then I checked early in the week of the wedding and it still was not at the racks where my employer hangs the cleaned clothes (my company gives this schmuck a ton of business as the convenience allows Axess to be the preferred corporate dry cleaner). This is when I started to get annoyed/worried. Michael, assured he would find where it was, only after blaming a one of my colleagues for accidentally taking it home. I knew at this point it was most likely a goner. Because of how important this specific suit was to my friend's wedding, I had to go out and buy a brand new suit so I could have the matching outfit for the ceremony. He told me he would definitely find it and to give him more time. I called the next day...nothing. I then called the next day and he had no update. I did not call the day before because I had already traveled to the wedding. I wanted him to reimburse me for the 2nd suit I had to buy and have let him know this. He refuses to do so as is his defense is "THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS". I was quite annoyed with him and was considering taking him to small claims court but he lucked out because it is just not worth my time anymore. This Yelp review is the only thing I can do for retribution do as he will not reimburse me for the second I had to buy. I certainly do not take pleasure in hurting the reputation of a small business owner but I've never had such a poor experience from a service like this. He eventually found the suit and continued to place blame on an anonymous co-worker for taking it home. However what was peculiar was that the suit was in Axess and not the rack where it should have been at my employer. So...if a coworker took my suit home and put it back on the rack...why would Michael take it into their office? Seems a little suspicious to me. Now I have two of the exact same black suits. You can imagine how annoying that is. Net-net: From the other negative reviews I've read on this, Michael is a dishonest business owner. Do not work with dishonest business owners. I've been a customer of axess cleaners for over 6 months and I've always been impressed with the quality of their service and the ease of using them. Nothing, for me beats a cleaner that is CLEAN, reasonably priced (never go to cheap cleaners - neither too expensive) and most importantly - especially for me - one that offers delivery service. I've experienced many before but I've yet to find one that is all of the above. At times too expensive and I know it shouldn't be that expensive, or if on the cheaper side, my clothes always had issues - odor, smell, stain mark or unreliable. After trying them out for few times, I started to really enjoy going there. Then met more of their friendly staff and eventually the manager, who's super friendly and VERY Helpful. On many occasions, I've seen him going above and beyond to make sure he addresses issues and solves it. Moreover, I have noticed a significant improvement in their process from when I first started - this to me is key as it shows they are constantly improving, and updating their system and process. I highly recommend going to them and trying their service, and Im personally grateful to have found them. P.S. Parking at times gets difficult, so I park quick right in front of the store - its a private lot so it works fine (quick in and out) and inquire about their delivery service - I sometimes use it for my work. - very easy. read more

When I came to look for a Cleaner in the area (close to my work), I noticed Axess cleaners nearby in Downtown Mountain View. BEING A PERFECTIONIST although the location was very close to my work and it looked decent and clean, I wasn't sure if these guys will be the one I want to use. So I figured it wouldn't hurt looking through some reviews. Yelp of course being the #1 resource when it comes to reviews was my stop to see and evaluate Axess for myself... Great reviews with few negatives, which made me think twice about these guys. MY SCENARIO: It was about few months ago from today and I had a wedding to attend (in 2 days), and realized that the gown I was planing on wearing not only was extremely wrinkled but it had few stain marks on the front and back of the gown. Now, what made the whole thing even worse was the rope that was nicely attached to the gown (bowed) was undone but I just couldn't fix it unless I would have considered altering the dress (rope part specifically). I called the one cleaner that a friend of mine was suggesting (in Los Altos area)., lets put it this way, NO CHANCE, as they've told me that in such short period of time its near impossible and that they can't promise to have it done on time. After few cleaners that I called, I came across Axess Cleaners (of course by chance). A young gentleman picked up the phone and answered. For one, I was so surprised with the level of customer service - very polite, very informative - and more than anything calmed me down and assured me that he will "MAKE THIS HAPPEN!" To make the super long story short, I decided to give them a try, thinking that they may be my last resort. Michael is the MAN, he took care of everything and all done in no time... basically gave me tips on the bow (rope) and to make it easier for me (due to the time crunch) he suggested covering the certain areas with beads that he could sew onto the gown. I dropped off the dress on Tuesday night, and had it back ready, altered, cleaned and pressed by Friday Morning. Was amazed! I never forgot the level of service I received at this location. But, what's quite interesting is that although I wasn't sure about using Axess, it all meant to happen and somehow I was forced into using them. Both my wife and myself are super busy, thus, we have been looking for a convenient service in the area for some time now., and none offered us the pick up and delivery service we've been looking for. When we signed up with them for pickup and drop service , the only reason to select them was they mentioned if we move to San Jose , Santa Clara they would still provide the service . They say the same in their Yelp ad. After using this service for 2 years and being happy with them in sunnyvale it is unfortunate that their professionalism does not exist anymore . When we signed up they clearly mentioned that they cover San Jose and Santa Clara . Now that we moved to our Santa Clara address and that too a few steps from the expressway , they are refusing to provide service mentioning it is out of their route . Surprised that they couldn't get simple sweat stains out of a *white* shirt. They told me the shirt was ruined. They tried their best to "clean" it, but the stains remained. I decided to try it myself with a little bit of bleach, and voila, stains are out in a few minutes. I question the competence of this cleaner. read more

I must say, the quality of cleaning wasn't bad, BUT def not up to par when it came to Customer Service. A friend of mine introduced AXESS CLEANERS to me., and so because of my friend I changed and started using their service. Right from the get-go, I was surprised with the level of customer service I received at this location. Because of it, (first impression) I thought it has to be a very expensive cleaner... shortly after I found out that in fact it's cheaper than the cleaner that's nearby my home. I believe I came across a young gentlemen working there (don't recall his name) who gave me the service., It was just great. Took his time with my items (although another customer came in right after) while handling my order, he made sure the one behind me is also acknowledged. Just from this experience I knew I chose the right place to do my Dry Cleanings. As far as their quality goes, I am so far very happy with them. They also do GREEN cleaning, which means no harsh chemicals that may be bad for the environment. Quite recently, I decided to also join their exclusive program that came with discounts as well as free pick up and drop offs. We had a bad experience at Axess. After reading all the great reviews, we had really high expectations. Well first, my husband called 15mn before closure to ask if he could come quickly. The owner (very nice) said yes no problem. He arrived 1mn before closure. No one bothered opening him. The owner wasn't there and the workers did not care. OK - after the owner called to apologize, we decided to try the place anyway and come back. I mean, let's face it, this would happened in most places and it was very nice from the owner to care. My husband dropped some shirts on a Monday and was told to come Thursday morning to pick it up = 3 days!!! When he came Thursday morning - our shirts were not ready. He had to come back a second time in the evening. As if we have all the time to come back and forth to the place. This is really bad service. To finish, one the shirts is now missing a button (!) - this never happened before. In addition, the skirts were hold on a regular hanger using pins while ruining the material. Talk about outstanding service Michael will pick up and deliver clothes to your home free of charge. The first time I went in I needed my suites cleaned by Sunday and it was late Friday. I am hooked. Axess Cleaners won my trust with one load and I'm not going anywhere else. I am committed to trekking here all the way from my work, simply because they are courteous, diligent, and do a great job. I began searching for a new dry cleaner that not only provided safe, environmentally friendly cleaning but at the same time was convenient and trustworthy. Most importantly, I can trust them with my garments which is a bigger deal than I thought, but after multiple bad experience elsewhere from the cleaners losing my items, to mishandling them, to simply not even keeping their promises (and trust me I am an easy going guy when it really comes down to it). Many times, especially with my old dry cleaner (up in San Francisco), my shirts would not get cleaned properly and/or just returned back to me without even making an effort. When I would ask them why they always had a reason, BUT they never cared to inform me ahead of time of any issues so that I could prepare and maybe even get new attire together for the occasion. With Axess Cleaners on the other hand, they get back to me anytime there is an issue with my clothes or if they require more time to process my orders. Simply put, my stuff always comes back spotless and well pressed. Stains are gone, and even if not, I can be sure that no one else could put in the effort that they've put in to clean it in the first place. Now that I've used them for a bit. The last two times I had my clothes dry cleaned they came back with stains. The first time this happened, the stains appeared on two garments that were not there when I dropped them off. The second time this happened, I sent some clothes to the dry cleaner because I had stains that I wanted removed, but this did not happen. I am not a "Yelper" but at times I review products/businesses if they are bellow par or just amazing. I came across Axess Cleaners after I was doing some research for a nearby Dry Cleaner/Laundry place. Of course needed one to be able to do the job right away as I was going to a trip out of town. Axess Cleaners review on Yelp really made me excited about the place, and so I figured I would give them a try. Dropped off few dresses, blouses and jackets. I was also smart enough to take advantage of their Yelp Deal currently going on too. My total came to a little over the amount that I had purchased, but I basically had $10 savings with the Yelp Deal! The place is not very close to my residence but close enough to make me drive to them if I have to. Conveniently located in the Downtown Mountain View area. Had minor issue with the Parking Lot as they don't have much space available there, but managed to find a spot. The place looks really nice and modern, not like the typical Dry Cleanings I expected. Customer service and the overall first impression was superb. Really polite and took their time. I also noticed I was there during the rush-hour, but the guy there really acknowledged each customers and helped everyone accordingly. MAIN reason for leaving this review: I tend to leave cash and other valuable items in my pockets sometimes and I forget about them. Well, this happened to me again, and this is the FIRST TIME I've ever gotten a call from any Cleaner about this. They are really honest and ethical. The manager (I believe Michael) reached out to me to let me know I had left $35 in cash inside the pocket of my jacket. He gave me few options to either deposit the money in my account for future use or hold it until I pick up in person. I've never had this happen to me before, and now have full trust in these guys. Their work was also great and fast. I had all my garments cleaned in no time and they even offered to Deliver it to my apartment. Michael, the Manager of Axess Cleaners, is flat out amazing. He will go above and beyond just dry-cleaning, laundry (although in that regard, this place is amazing too). I came here because I work a few doors down, and laundry had become this major time-suckage in my week. I needed a solution, and Axess came through - if you are at all within the vicinity, they will come pick up and drop off your cleaning and laundry. And they will come to your workplace! Extra bonus. Oh, and it's really affordable - I had looked all over the Peninsula/South Bay for a place that didn't get terrible reviews, and could pick up and drop off my laundry (why is this so difficult to find?). Go for one of their VIP services - it'll take care of your laundry headaches. But beyond these services, Michael is the true superstar. I lost my job shortly after I started coming here, and he went out of his way to help me out, in any way he possibly could. I've tried quite a few different cleaners all throughout the Bay Area/east bay and no one has done a phenomenal job like axess cleaners. I recently had a visit in San Jose for a work meeting. Flying in from Dallas on a Monday with a meeting first thing the following afternoon; I dropped off my favorite dress and a few blouses before they closed and let them know it was urgent and I needed my dress and tops by morning. Not only did they do this for me and on time but they called me informing me on the status of my items I had dropped off. The staff is absolutely wonderful and EXTREAMLY knowledgable!!! It is really convenienent for me as they have the keys to my apartment complex, and do pick up/drop off service. Michael the store manager is awesome ....he is professional, pays great attention to customer satisfaction and goes over and beyond always. Michael is proactive and sends an email if he notices something may be wrong with the clothing item ....we discuss pros & cons and suggestions before proceeding with the job.
