My friend and I enjoyed our meal so much including the classic French Dip and the "Happy Waitress" - basically an open-faced grilled cheese with bacon and tomato. It made me a "Happy customer". Delicious onions rings, too. I great "classic" diner with a big salad bar (we did not have it this visit) and 3 soups daily. The mini matzoh balls were so cute and tasty. Diners are shutting down all across the USA and we hope and pray that the Eagle remains successful for decades to come.

As for the food, I honestly can't remember having a bad meal here. Everything we've ordered has been flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. Unlike many restaurants today, you don't leave feeling like you paid inflated prices for tiny portions. The burger, flavorless and overcooked. To make this experience better, the bacon for my wife's side and on my burger...completely raw. The food took a long time to come out, so no excuses. The service was good and I don't blame them for this. But far too many missteps. This is not just a mistake on one item...this is a restaurant that's lost its way.

We stopped going there after YEARS of patronizing W. West. They took the chili off the menu, which was excellent plus, and got it twice a week for years, although we got other things as well. For some reason it was discontinued, so because of that, they lost $125-$150.00 a week. Just like a store, if it doesn't have what you want, you don't shop there. Oh, the owner/manager/whatever is a grumpy, unsociable old fart as well, always with a long face. We have since found other places, where managers are friendly. Rules of a diner,please don't come in and ask for an outlet. Then, bring all of your devices to charge and your laptop to do all your work for over two hours. Sit in a 6 top booth on a Thursday dinner shift. And not pay the cashier for your check, but give it to The server who thought it was their tip.
