I was surprisingly underwhelmed with how good of a review this diner has. When I first arrived the parking lot isn't the best (minimal parking). They are also cash only. I ordered the NY strip steak and asked for medium, it was overcooked with no flavor and so much fat. This comes with 2 sides, fries, coleslaw, and roll. I asked to hold the coleslaw. I asked for fresh fruit and the waitress said they didn't have anything besides blueberries and they weren't the best. I was missing a 2nd side (wasn't offered another) but I guess the fries were the second side but the menu/waitress should specify that. The fries were plain/no seasoning. The best was the coffee and the kaiser roll. Where paying ~$23 for this was disappointing. I was also shocked that the waitress complained about another table saying the food wasn't worth $40. ...I would have to agree. I wasn't asked how my food was but if I were I wouldn't tell them because they'll talk about you as soon as you leave. Even so, do it in private for other customers to not hear about it. Other than that the staff were nice. It was a cozy diner. But I wouldn't come back nor recommend if it's coming out of your way. read more

Driving to do some shopping at Sam's Club we wanted to get some breakfast. We found this little hole in the wall breakfast place. In my experience these always have the best food and boy was I right. I had an omelette with cheese, spinach and sausage, some well done hash browns and toast. My husband got a sausage, egg, cheese and hashbrown sandwich. It was on a soft roll. Both breakfasts were served quick and hot. They were both equally good and we ate every single bite. Waitress was really nice and not overbearing. Over all a great little breakfast spot. read more

I had to drop my car off for repair down the road. Once I was done, I decided to stop here. I've driven by here, and although it's on the corner, you barely realize it's there. Parking: A small parking lot. Atmosphere: bright small and a little noisy. This location isn't good for a group, ok maybe so, but the group would take up most of the restaurant. This place hits on all cylinders. I was in the area getting my car serviced and had an hour to kill. I was craving a nice old school breakfast, the terminal absolutely delivered. First impressions is it is an unremarkable small hole in the wall type of place. When you walk in it looks like it's straight somewhere in the '70's/80's. But you also notice it's bright and very clean. The staff and service were wonderful in that friendly small diner kind of way. I asked about what was best and was told the cream chipped beef. One of my favorites and one of my typical diner breakfast orders. I asked for that over wheat toast and home fries very well done with onions. I know it sounds simple but most places either miss slightly or don't even try, you just get a scoop of potatoes from the corner of the grill the same as everyone else gets. They knocked it out of the park. The home fries were crispy and dark brown with lots of onions, just the way I ordered. Obviously made to order. The creamed chip beef was also obviously fresh made and very tasty. The staff was friendly and personable, just the right amount of chat but not intrusive. Framed pictures adorn the white walls of the restaurant and you can also see into the kitchen as well. Daughter ordered the Spanish omelet with grits and whole wheat toast. She thought it was delicious and that it hit the spot. She was really happy to see that grits came along with it. Hubs ordered two eggs over easy with scrapple and home fries. It's been a while since he had scrapple and he liked it a lot. Daughter loved the scrapple because she stole some from him. The humble exterior lowers expectations but the interior is bright, airy and classic diner. The waitresses were very friendly. The menu offered classic diner fare with some interesting options. For a late breakfast I ordered the flounder and eggs, a great high protein treat and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The grits were very pleasantly seasoned and a nice generous portion. The delicious toasted corn muffin finished off the meal. I've never had breakfast in this remote area, so I turned to my trusted Yelp app, and there was Terminal. We ordered a simple but solid mushroom spinach cheese omelette (no broccoli available) given with either Southern style grits or with yummy crispy home fries (how disappointing can soggy home fries be?!! It's usually such a waste, but not here!) The kiddos wanted chocolate chip pancakes, and I was happy to see a small stack was an option. They had enough chocolate to make them happy and the right amount to make me not feel guilty about letting this be breakfast. A little classic hot chocolate topped with whipped cream made her smile and warm her up on a frigid day. I had a super cheap pot of black coffee (nothing special) with my favorite topping, cinnamon! We ended up at the place by accident - I had been eyeing the Lucky 7 deli down the road, but unfortunately that place had nowhere to sit to eat, and we needed to kill time in Willow Grove before meeting someone at 1:30 pm. We had actually driven by Terminal first, and I'm glad that we decided to go here instead. It is a classic American diner for sure. You can tell that every thing they do here, they will do it right every time. The pancakes were fluffy, the sausages had a great bite, and the coffee was plentiful. The homefries were perfectly crispy and soft. Nothing was over seasoned, so you could make it how you like it. The rye bread was good, and the only jam seemed to be grape. The coffee was good and hot! I went back a second time while in town because it hit the spot, and you can't beat the price for the value! Usually I don't have an issue with this restaurant . Home fries taste Smokey and are half way burnt . The waffle is doughy after tasting and the grits are not cooked all the way. Called the restaurant and asked to steak with a manager . A guy who didn't introduce himself said "speaking " when I expressed my concern about the home fries that I ALWAYS order he told me he couldn't do anything about it but charge me again. We usually get omelets and they do a fine diner style plain and straightforward job. Ham and cheese, Western, cheese, cheese mushrooms and onions, or toss bacon into the mix Nice pancakes good toast (not burned buttered and warm) and potatoes sliced with a lovely crunchy few and nice moist perfectly slices too I haven't had burgers or sandwiches there but they look good.
