The sales associates and optometrists at this location are sooo nice & genuinely the best!! I came in yesterday and spoke to Daniel, Dyani, and Rachel about eye exam options and frames. I was able to book an eye exam for about $180-ish the next day and Daniel had saved the frames I had my eye on! Once my exam was over (thank you to the sweetest optometrist this morning), Daniel rang me up and broke down the cost of frames / lenses / blue-light blocking / etc.!!! I ended up getting 2 pairs of eyeglasses today and they're going to be shipped directly to my house. You guys are seriously the best ever and so so nice I've never had such a lovely time having my eyes checked! Warby Parker is a place where one can get affordably-priced, prescription glasses and sunglasses. I believe that they have an optometrist that can provide eye-exams; however, I came to this location with my prescription from my regular optometrist and the process was pretty simple. Though Warby Parker has a website where I could order everything online, I opted to come into the store so that I could see how well frames fit. This is of particular concern to me because I've lost suboptimal fitting, expensive, designer prescription frames on rollercoasters in the past. Coming into this location, I got pretty great service from their opticians and found that I needed to use "low bridge" frames. I found that they fit far better and I don't have to fear my frames sliding off my face when I'm on rollercoasters or if I'm wearing a mask in a patient's room at work (at a hospital). Warby parker has a nice selection of low bridge frames, which can give better fits for many Asian facial structures. The other reason I love Warby Parker is their pricing. It's inconvenient that they don't directly work with our insurance and that we have to go through a tedious process of filing a claim; however, Warby Parker's cash rate for glasses were still cheaper than going through our optometrists. Between my wife and I, we paid far less than we would have at our optometrist, even factoring in our insurance premiums. They did take our Flexible Spending Account debit card, so we were happy to at least take advantage of those tax-free benefits through this benefit. To summarize: My glasses fit better than they've fit in years. We got a cheaper price for our prescription frames, even without insurance coverage. Customer service was very helpful at this location at Irvine Spectrum. It only took a week to get our high-index prescription lenses and low bridge frames delivered. read more

They started off as an online discounted eyeglasses store. Marketing their great prices. They are milking that image. Now that they have brick N mortar shops they had to raise prices. But they significantly raised priced. They market cheap frames but once you get the glasses the price is very high. I paid $500+ $85 exam for glasses, which cost me $300 at Walmart. I went with my girlfriend to check out some frames and also to fix my pair that became loose. The employees were very nice and they just checked in an appropriate amount if we needed help finding frames, but were not pushing anything or hovering too much. It's been 2 years since my last check up and I had a feeling my vision had likely gotten worse - it happens when you get older lol. I was able to get an appointment the same day - and even though Warby is considered out of network - It was just an easier process to have them do the tests and then I can have them fill the prescription all in one place. Sean was super helpful and patient while I tried multiple frames out and then decided to go with 2 sets. Seeing that I work outdoors now, sunglasses with the prescription would be super helpful. He also took the time to explain their new Precision Progressives - which I ended up getting. They have multiple lens colors for the sunglasses and the regular glasses offer "light responsive" which darken when it senses UV rays. There are plenty of options for frames. Once you receive the glasses in the mail, you can bring them in if you need them adjusted or just need them cleaned. Staff was super nice! read more

Just received the Roosevelt prescription sunglasses in the mail that I recently ordered from Warby. Apparently, they have a well below average quality control team that didn't notice how misaligned the arms were so the fit is really crooked. Now I need to drive an hour round trip to have them adjusted. What a waste of time. read more

My dog decided to chew up my glasses on a Saturday, and my prescription was outdated. Luckily I was able to get an appointment for the eye exam at Warby Parker the same day. The process was super easy. Dr. Tran was polite and professional. He offered suggestions and options, and did not try to upsell. Camille helped me pick out a frame. She was super patient and personable. I wish I was more decisive, and could make her job easier. But I was having such a hard time deciding on a frame given the vast selections they had in the store. Camille was not fazed by my indecisiveness and continued to help me, without a hint of irritation. I highly recommend WP at the spectrum. read more

Let me just first say that if the children running the store should put down their phones and pay more attention to the customers than socializing. Last time I checked when I went into retail establishment that's what the people on staff were there for.. The girl I dealt was simply spoke so fast and wouldn't listen correctly. Couldn't get my name right for starters or my email address for crying out loud. I mean the whole thing was just a cluster and how am I supposed to feel comfortable if I go back in? If My prescription is not correct?. The staff needs to be retrained and again they need to put their phones down and provide customer service and that's the key customer service. Extremely unhappy. He easily explained it and notified me I was eligible for a replacement pair (within 6 months, you're eligible for a new pair & you trade out your old ones for the new ones). I had the best experience here! I had previously tried to select frames at my optometrist's office but I was so overwhelmed by all of the choices and didn't like anything I tried on there. I had heard great things about WP and decided to go here. I brought my prescription in to WP and Will helped me find the best frames for me. He truly provided the best customer service and was so helpful. There were so many frames I loved and I ended up getting two frames for less than 1 pair would have cost at my optometrist's office. I had a wonderful experience at this location yesterday. I brought my 82 year old father after a very long day of doctors appointments. I expected Dad to be tired and grumpy after such a long day, and I thought it might be a struggle to get him to order glasses. Rob greeted us and immediately engaged my dad. Rob got dad to talk of cars and motorcycles while Rob got his lens information. Dad lit up and was so happy to have a fellow enthusiast to talk to. Rob showed him a good variety of glasses and dad picked out two which we ordered. The entire experience was great, and I'm very thankful to Rob. I'll probably bring Dad back to Rob to have his glasses fitted, just so they can chat again :) read more

Wonderful experience! This was my very first eye exam, and I went in to my appointment a little nervous not knowing what to expect. The entire staff is extremely kind and informative. They made my visit a seamless experience and I walked out a happy customer! The optometrist provided me with her recommendations, but did not feel pushy or tried to sell me on anything I didn't need. This is a very new store. All the people who work there are nice but very inexperienced. I went first in early December and ordered glasses after having a eye test. I got an email confirming my purchase but they had the wrong frames. You cannot call them as it's just a genereic 888 #. So I had to go back to the store and make sure they changed the order to the correct frames. About a week or so the glasses came and they were incorrect - the prescription was off and I just could not read with them. I took them back to Warby Parker and we started all over and ordered a new pair with the correct prescription etc. I waited to receive them. Got an email last week saying they were shipped but to the WP store and they would call me. I never heard anything so today January 1st I went to the store and found out someone who ordered the glasses hit a wrong button saying I walked away with the glasses from the store?? I did not! So now after my 4th visit to the store they say they have expedited the order to be sent to my house. We'll see what happens. They have nice frames but as for the rest you are at your own risk going there. VERY disappointed. read more
