Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.

I went to Juan to get a valve cover replacement since he diagnosed the pvc was bad everytime he…read moreopened the motor cap it went away but the car had a whining sound.This would be the third time I get my car service at this shop.I bought all the parts from fcp euro oem valve cover and spark plugs ,coil and a starter.He gave a high quote but I thought WTF the shop is close to me and they stand by their work.The car was there for almost two days.I paid Juan cash,tipped the mechanic and took my car.After driving it for about 30 minutes the same noise was still there.I went back and spoke to Juan and the mechanic and they both looked at me and said "we did everything the way it should be done- probably the pvc came defective".I told him "this is a brand new valve cover not a used one, ok I'll call and get another sent out to me and return this one" He asked me if the company will pay for labor -- WTF.. Basically telling me I would have to pay for the whole job again.When I ask him what he meant he told me his mechanic has to work on the car again which is about 5 Hrs of labor which was the same price $700 not to mention the $1100 he initially charged for the whole job.He was very dismissive and didnt want to stand behind his work or guarantee it .Absolutely absurd! This is not how a business should conduct business. I could of taken it anywhere else for half the price. I had to take it to my mechanic and pay again for the job to be done the right way... these guys at elite are clowns. Guess what my mechanic found out .These Fucktards at ELITE AUTO WORK knew exactly what they did and never told me a thing.The mechanic snap one of the screws in half then tried to take it out with a tap and snap that inside trying to take the screw out and left that inside.He then put silicone around the new valve cover,cut an old screw or put the same one he snapped with silicone.I guess he put silicone just so it would look like it was screwed in.Instead of just taking out the screw and the tap that he broke. This would of never worked with all the pressure inside the valve cover when the car is on.So basically you charge your consumer double for your mechanics incompetence & dishonesty. Update on 12-22-14…read more This company doesn't like that people can see how poor their service is on Yelp. Way to go Yelpers!!! They are claiming that they don't do uhaul. Maybe they do not do Uhaul anymore but check out my photo. I uploaded a copy of my receipt with my named blacked out. They certainly did Uhaul last year. Perhaps they lost the contract with uhaul because of their practices. The reason I am updating my post and uploading a picture of my receipt now is because they said they never rented me a Uhaul and they are sending me emails calling me names. They are very unprofessional. I wouldn't use them for anything. This company is so bad. they even went to Yelp to have my review removed. I am re-posting my original review so others don't get taken... I was moving. My moving company didn't show up so I hired some local kids and needed a truck quickly. I have used uhaul many times. I usually get from a bigger uhaul location but this one was close. When you walk in there they have names on the wall of people that "have ripped them off". I'm sure that these were innocent people that were taken advantage of. My name might be there now for all I know. The lady told me I had to book it from my computer. They could not do it there easily. I was standing there trying to do it with my iPhone and told her this just was working out well. The website said I was getting a rate of .29 per mile. So after a few tries she got it to book. It was a one day rental. I had to have it back by 6:00 pm. The truck was snowed in. I lost about a half hour as they tried to pull it out of the snow. The truck they were using first to pull out my rental had its bumper ripped off. Good thing I stood far back. Then they used a tie rope that also came loose and would have killed someone standing close. They get it out and I am on my way. I look at my receipt and the gas says 1/4 tank. The truck is bone dry and says I have 7 miles to I run out. I call them on the phone. She says, "we noticed the gas and have marked it down on our end." I think ok cool. I lost a 1/2 hour of my time but I will finish early. I put $25 worth of gas in it. I finish my move and return early. The next day I get an email receipt charging me for a two day rental, $30 gas refill convenience fee, $35 for gas and .99 per mile. I call, no answer. I call, no answer. I drive over there. The same guy I gave the key to the night before says the owner is around back and he will get him. Ten minutes later he says he is in Poughkeepsie and gone for the day. I called uhaul and register a complaint. A day later I get a corrected bill except I am still being charged .99 per Mile. I drove so few miles I let it go. The uhaul rep called me and asked if I was happy. I said I was. My experience with uhaul is still good just not this place that seems to be a shady outfit.

I recently visited 9W Motor Werks for a routine oil change, but unfortunately, the experience left…read moremuch to be desired. Upon arrival I warned him (owner/mechanic) the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor) light was on for one of the tires (front left), but I did not want that to be touched at this time. However, my request was ignored and he tried to investigate that. After the oil change, he claimed to have found issues with all 4 of the TPMS. When I questioned the reason for him to do something I clearly did not allow him to and the validity of these supposed faults, he couldn't provide satisfactory explanations besides "I didn't hear you saying that." I believe he (the owner) attempted to upsell unnecessary repairs. It felt like he was simply trying to make a quick buck at my expense. This is not the first time I have this feeling there, and that's why I have pictures of how the TPMS looked before he touched the car: cannot explain how I sensed that he would do something like that because he can make more money fixing 4 TPMS than only 1! Anyways, it's disappointing to encounter such dishonest practices in what should be a straightforward service. I will not be returning to 9W Motor Werks and I strongly advise others to proceed with caution if considering his services. Trustworthiness and transparency are essential qualities in the automotive industry, and unfortunately, this establishment falls short in both regards.

I find that car clinic is the most honest, clean repair shop, and his well train staff always gives you a thorough explaination of the repairs. I use my vehicles for work and I need them or I'm out of business. He has stayed late or met me early in the morning and has always completed on time. This shouldn't have taken a long time, so I planned for about an hour of my time. This ended up taking nearly 3 hours of my time. The price wasn't too bad for everything we got done, but the time could've been better. There was an understanding that they were short staffed, however when an appointment is made, there shouldn't be such a delay for simple services. The workers were extremely nice, however, and I would recommend them, just carve out a chunk of your day if you're going to wait. They also do not have a bathroom in the shop, so be aware of that too :)
