Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.

On the way down, heard an odd sound coming from under the front of the car at highway speeds. Checked under the car and a panel under the engine that was loose. At higher speeds it fluttered up and down. I'm not a mechanic nor have a lift to get under the car. We were in the neighborhood a couple days later, and I brought the car over just to see what they could do. Although they're always busy, they had an empty bay, and put the car up on the lift. Brian explained it was the clips that hold the "belly pan" in place. He fixed it in about five minutes; and when I asked "how much?" his answer was i'm a good customer. There's no charge. I would highly recommend Brinkerhoff Service anyone, who needs quality work done.

The first shop I went to told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and it was in perfect shape. I wish that were true but my car is 12 years old and pushing 275,000 miles. Not to mention that I heard all sorts of popping and clunking noises while I was driving. It's a great commuter car and I'm trying my best to keep her going. That's where C & V comes in. When I got there I was greeted by the very friendly, Regina. I let her know what was going on with my car by doing my best Michael Winslow impressions and she relayed the message to John and the crew. I'm happy to say that my car is now popping and clunking free! I did spend a little more than I wanted to, but as long as my car is running great I can live with it. When I went the day of my appointment, they said they didn't have my appointment on file. They were able to "fit me in" and I saw my truck go right in. For a tire rotation and an oil change, I was there for TWO HOURS. I watched as three mechanics stood underneath my truck staring at the belly pan scratching their heads. I asked the lady what the hell was going on and one of the mechanics came in and told me that I should be proud that I stumped the entire garage, claiming they had to watch YouTube videos, because they couldn't find the oil filter inside of my Toyota 4Runner, a very common vehicle. I wanted my truck off the lift and I felt very uncomfortable that they had to continue working on my truck because they already drained the oil. They had to get the "master mechanic" to complete an oil change.... Also, while waiting in the lobby, another customer came in for their appointment, and they didn't have their appointment on file either. I would not recommend them to anyone. I will not be returning. My buddy rotated all four tires and changed the oil in the driveway faster than these people with a lift. I'm going to have him check their work because I don't want the oil filter or tires falling off. I'm not very confident in their incompetent work. 2 oil changes, wow. Apparently, it stuck in his craw because he just today sent me harassing vulgar messages laden with profanity thru the Nextdoor application. From a review from three years ago. I feel the other reviews, especially the unrecommended ones speak volumes about this petty little man. The littlest dog tends to yap the loudest. In fact, we used to patronize this business all the time when Bill Pardy and Phil owned it. Not anymore with this potty mouthed little guy who apparently solves issues by challenging people to "say it to his face" LOL (which, we in fact DID at the time and he responded very rudely). Over 50 cents!!!! Really? Are we back in junior high school? Looks like from the other reviews, quite a few customers have been treated rudely, but the owner appears to be in denial about it.
